Electra 1 How It Begin - 8 Chapter 8
I got to the bottom and I was the only one there. I went to a room and started to kick and punch a dummy. “Hate to think who that is.” A voice said. I turned around and a boy was standing there. He had black hair and blue eyes. “Hi, I’m George.” He said.
“I’m Electra.” I replied. In truth the dummy was a range of people that I was angry at. This included me. I turned back around and shoot a lightning bolt at the dummy. Its head came straight off and fell to the floor next to me. The boy was now in front of me and I wondered what powers he had. “I can read minds, heal, super-fast speed and I also have the power to control water.” He said. He smiled and I smiled back. I got a pain in my head. Like a head ache only about 100 times worse. Loki was shouting in my head and I know he was trying to get in contact. I reached for something to grab to steady myself and George’s hand steadied me to the floor. “Get Flame.” I said and tried to get Loki out of my head but I couldn’t. I put up something like a wall in my mind and Loki knocked it down. I shouted go away but he was still in my head, shouting the same thing over and over again. Don’t believe them, come back. NOW! He kept shouting. I couldn’t stop him from talking inside my head. He said now and then, “Stop trying to block me out.” And then went back to saying what he was originally. The pain was unbearable. I sat curled up in a ball screaming and shouting. Tears rolled down my face but I didn’t cry out. Flame came in and ran towards me. She sat down and hugged me, and started to chant. I don’t know what she said but Loki started to fade away. Then nothing, but pain. It rushed through my head and Flame couldn’t do anything, but watch. Watch as a storm was created and a girl was in the middle. Watch as a girl lay lifeless in the middle of the floor and how it took one boy to snap her out of it. George made a whirlpool open and put me in the middle. I calmed down and the storm stopped. I woke up a few seconds after terrified. There was concern in Flames eyes and I saw why. On my head was a tiara made of blue sapphires and black rubies. She said, “You need to know the truth.” She told me what I already know about my past and about Slither. She told me why my parents didn’t like them which I already knew. Then it came to the part about being the head of Peaceaver. Flames family had been in charge of Peaceaver for 15 years. They also had to look after the other realms and help protect the world of magic. The life of magic runs through the princess or the queen. It’s up to her to look after everything with the help of her advisers. “Your mum ran away and gave up her magic to protect you. She didn’t want the advisers to control you like they did with her. As I’m just a commander I wasn’t in tilted to that help.” She continued to say that as I was discovering my powers, I would soon take charge, only if I choose to stay in Peaceaver and learn about magic. The guards didn’t look happy at all. They said that now I knew I would have to go with them. I was still recovering from the shook of the truth, when Slither came in. “We have a problem in the training room.” He said and we followed him down to the bottom floor. George was there and was making water go everywhere. There were people trying to stop him but ended up being socked. “Stop this and tell us what is going on George!” Flame shouted. He turned and looked at us and it wasn’t George. He looked like George and sounded like him but his eyes were green, just like my twin brother eyes. I stared at him and he stopped. “You can’t know the truth.” He whispered. I nodded and said, “It’s time you get over it. I’m not a little girl anymore.” And then he fell. When he woke up he was himself again. The guards were still in the office as they were forbidden to go out. They looked angry as there were so many emergences to coop with. They continued to argue with each other over who should be in charge of me. At last they came back to the fact that I should choose. Last time I had gone to the training room, but this time I had an answer. “I am going to stay here and become a true princess.” I declared. Flame looked pleased but the guards looked frustrated. We watched as they were taken out to the main centre and taken back to the human realm. I would have liked to see commander Obsidians face when they told him that I stayed. What was strange was that I was glad to be alone for a while. A new adventure is just what I needed. Something to take my mind off of school. School. What would I tell them? I’m not sure how long I had been away. Would they still accept me? I decided to ask Flame about it. It looked like she was in a deep conversation with Slither. I slipped away and went to find George. I think I owed it to him after my brother invaded his mind and body to get to me. Would he blame me for what Loki did? It was my fault that he did. I wouldn’t listen to him and the others about Slither. Who cares anymore? They wouldn’t tell me about the truth so it doesn’t really matter. Does it? Finally I went to see George. He had been discharged from the hospital that took up five floors and was in the practise room. The door was shut so I knocked on the door and it opened. George was there and he looked so dreamy. I looked in his eyes and wanted the whole world to stop. Then I snapped out of it. “You know that when you look in to my eyes it’s easier to read your mind. Thanks for the complement.” He said. My cheeks burned and turned red. He looked about my age. I knew his powers and he properly knew mine to. “Get away from him!” Someone shouted. I turned around and there was a man there. “Didn’t you hear me? Get away from him!” He said.
“No. I don’t know who you are so you don’t get to tell me what to do!” I shouted back. Slither came and saw what was going on. He looked at me and told me to back down. Then he explained that the man was called Derek Dare and he was the head adviser. I advised him to do something very rude and carried on talking to George. Slither told him to go away and said I wasn’t ready yet. “I hate Dare!” said George when he had gone.
“Why?” I asked
“He thinks he’s the best and the most powerful. The last Queen completely out striped him when she saved the people of Cloudaver.” He finished.
“What happened to Cloudaver?” I replied.
“Cloudaver was the second in command realm. Something was wrong with the head of Cloudaver and he became ill. The magic started to fade and no one but your mum knew. Her advisers told her to forget about it and let them go. But she saved them and left.” He finished. I knew where she went; she went to the human realm. She wanted to get away from everything, by doing so lost her magic. I and George talked for a while and I found out about him. He was part vampire and part elemental. He didn’t need to drink blood but if he needed to he would. He told me about Storm organization. They didn’t like that magic was a secret and no one was allowed to know about it. “He wants to make super soldiers to control the world.” He finished. We were sparing and I had just pinned him down when someone came in. “Glad to see someone can beat you G” The said. Then he looked at me.
“You must be losing your touch if you lost to a girl.” They continued.
“Nice to see you too, Jonathan. This is Electra, sorry princess Electra.” George said. He turned to me with a smile and I could tell he was enjoying this. “Oh, now I see why you were talking to her.” Jonathan said. He was about 13 and he had hazel eyes and brown hair. “Come on. Let’s see if you can beat me. No magic, hand to hand combat.” He continued. I agreed and beat him in a couple of minutes. He was impressed and bowed as he congratulated me. I watched as the two boys tried to beat each other in different types of matches. It was about 15 minutes and Flame and Slither came in and asked to talk to me. “We have something to give you.” They gave me a necklace that had an electric bolt on. “Keep it on and it helps to keep your powers hidden. You need to go back to regular school. Don’t worry its Tuesday and yesterday you were recovering from going to hospital. As far as the school is concerned.” I didn’t need to reply because it’s what I wanted. I needed to go to school to get my mind off of other things.
