Empire Of Jadase: New Day - Chapter 10
Back in the Imperial Grand Ball.
After Laquadia finished talking with the Fourth Prince, he walked in a lofty manner. He really want to strike Pozial more but he thought that today’s occasion is unsuitable. It is improper for them to act like that, they must show all the people that they are a well respected persona of the Empire. They need to let people know that the Imperial foundation is well-structured.
Laquadia is now walking in a large hall amazed. The large hall is decorated by thousands of remarkable chandeliers which are hanged dramatically. They are all made up of precious stones with a main structure that of a metal like woods. This woods are from a Desul tree, it is a significant symbol of the Earth Kingdom, seeing some of it hanging in a large hall gives out a domineering feeling. At the end of the hallway is a glass like platform with no sides and offers a full view to the surrounding area. It is like an elevator but gives a more luxurious feeling and gives the person who rides it a very nice view of the City. Laquadia steps into the platform and arrived at the middle floor of the building and saw many people conversing happily. The Emperor and the Empress is not present this time. Actually it is not a surprise for them to be not around, this is because they only attend this Grand Ball depending if they want to or not. In the right side, are three tall gorgeous women wearing a sumptuously made gowns. As soon as Laquadia saw them, he then began to smile widely and approached them in the side joining their conversation.
“Ladies, you all look gorgeous today.” He said meekly.
“Laquadia you startled me. Oh, that crown it gives me an overbearing feeling. What is it called?” Said a woman in his left side curiously after she saw Laquadia’s crown. This woman wears a mermaid styled black gown with a star like pattern in the upper portion of her body. When you looked at it from afar you will never see a dress but a starry sky. This woman have a blue hair that is braided meticulously to look like that of a flower and she have a brown eyes.
“Stellar, you only noticed my crown? I’m so hurt that you never noticed my handsome face. I will not tell you it’s name if you don’t give me a kiss.” Said Laquadia like that of a child begging for a candy.
“Laquadia enough of that tricks of yours. What are you really begging for a candy or a kiss? Stellar, I think he don’t like a kiss he like sweets.” Said the other woman on the right side of Laquadia casually. This woman wears a pink feathered ball gown. She have a light brown eyes and a pony tailed blonde hair.
“Dianna, your the same as ever. A Princess of Conservative People, how can you have a husband like that?” Replied Laquadia sarcastically.
“She’s not conservative. She’s just saying a sarcasm.” Replied a woman facing Laquadia naively. She wears a plain blue sheath styled gown. She have a deep black eyes that can penetrate anything but it is opposite to her personality of being too naive to her surroundings. Her hair is loosened and fly beautifully in the air.
“Hesta, this conversation is not for children, so do not join an adult’s discussion. Didn’t your father told you that?” Laquadia looked at the woman casually and speak in a manner like that of an adult towards a child.
“My father told me that when I am a child but he never told me that again when I am an adult.” She replied full of naivety to Laquadia.
“I don’t know what to say next. Girls, help me teach this woman about something. I didn’t realized she’s worst than before.” Laquadia said to the women on his side like that of a retard person. He really don’t know what to do about that woman she had a conversation with.
“You made yourself to be in that situation. Why don’t you pull yourself out of it? You’re a great Prince of the Empire.” Said Dianna on him sarcastically.
“Enough of this nonsense. There’s something more important to discuss about. The Parliament is going to have a change in law towards the slaves. Laquadia, this will affect your Kingdom more than the other’s because you like to collect slaves.” Said Stellar madly cutting their current conversation.
“I don’t hear any of those news. What will be within that law regarding slaves? Is the Empire that poor already to reject having slaves?” Laquadia said seriously but with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He really needs to know what that new law is all about.
Changing a law in the Empire means a lot to its ordinary citizens and slaves. It will affect them most, unlike the upper echelons of the Empire it will have a little impact to them depending on its content. But, for a Kingdom as a whole having a new law is a soar to the throat, more than so if it is targeting a Kingdom’s current policy. The Celestial Imperial Parliament is a significant body of the Empire’s Constitution. If it takes out an order to pass a new law it catches the attention of everyone especially the Princes of the Empire. This is because it’s decision is final and difficult to be nullified.
“It is a charter change. It requires for all the slaves to be inspected thoroughly and will be given a more lesser significants in the Empire. Most importantly, the limit of a slaved civilization is only at 5. Which means you cannot conquer a new civilization the next time.” Told Stellar to her seriously.
“What?! This is putting me into a corner! I must went to the CIP tomorrow and discuss this matter. The Empress must understand what she’s doing!” Replied Laquadia furiously with a firing eyes. He’s eyes only changes like this when he cannot take the fury burning in his heart anymore. This charter change is like a chain binding him like a thrall which he cannot sustain anymore as a proud Prince of the Empire
“It is not like you have nothing to do about it, Laquadia.” Dianna said sarcastically joining their conversation.
“Well, your right Dianna. He is powerful to the extreme but let’s see if what he can do to the Empress his dear Mother.” Hesta seconded the motion naively but with a serious tone this time.
“Ugh! I really hate that wo…” Laquadia didn’t finish what he had to say when he heard a classical operatic music played by well known band in the Empire. Which is played in every Grand Balls in the past. When everyone heard it they must have to respect it by dancing with a partner.
“Can I have a dance with a gorgeous woman like you, Stellar?” He instead said to Stellar with a wide smile and extending his right hands to Stellar.
“Of course, it’s my pleasure, Laquadia.” Replied Stellar holding Laquadia’s right hand and went in the Grand Ball’s dancefloor. The floor tiles’ is painted with a starry night sky and when you look from above you can see Celestial beings dancing in the vast expanse of the Universe.
After they went into the dance floor they began to dance like a friend that never saw each other in a very long time. Hesta and Dianna had already been invited and danced together with all the people in the room.
“Have you talked to some of the Prince already?” Asked Stellar curiously.
“I had met Pozial going in here and we made a pleasant conversation?” Replied Laquadia casually.
“Pleasant? I couldn’t imagine what pleasant conversation meant to the both of you. I really hope so.” Even Stellar knows about the friction going on between Laquadia and Pozial. It is not a secret to the higher echelons of the Empire especially to the Princes and Princesses.
“Well, just imagine the worst pleasant seen you could muster.” Laquadia said sarcastically.
“I know why you are so infuriated by that new law.” Stellar said changing the topic seriously.
Laquadia knows that he can’t hide anything to this woman in front of him. She can read him instantly, this is because they had became good friends thousands of years ago and knows each secret in life.
“You know I still love her all this centuries.” Laquadia said with a soft voice and a somber face.
“I know what love can make us to be. That’s why I never made a serious relationship since I was born.” She said chuckling about the looks in Laquadia’s face.
“If I cannot conquer Vertusa and make it as my slave world, I cannot protect her anymore. You know that Stellar.” He said in a placid manner looking at Stellar’s eyes.
“Don’t look at me like that I’m just a mere Princess of the Empire and I control 10% of the Imperial Parliament. I cannot guarantee much to you.” She said sarcastically towards Laquadia. She knows she can influence her fellow Princesses in passing a law but not this law it is made by the Empress herself. Challenging her requires a lot of courage.
“I know what you mean in those words of yours, Stellar, and I understand you. Well, I think I need to speak to all this people in here. It is a waste of time if I never did.” Laquadia said casually after the music had finished playing. He then escorted Stellar back to where they had a conversation before and walk towards the Third and Fourth Prince grinning.
“Brothers, it’s been a long time we had a conversation. Desu, you had a nice place in here and you really prepared luxuriously this time.” He said towards a tall handsome man wearing a golden suit with a tree emblem in his right chest. He also had a root like crown that is made from a Desul trees which can be seen hundreds of precious stones surrounding it. After he said those words he looked at the Fourth Prince and said mockingly. “Frozal, you looked like a father today. I haven’t heard you had a child.” The Fourth Prince is wearing a deep blue suit with a wavy pattern and a crown that is entirely made up of diamonds.
“Laquadia, you’re mouth is so stupid, how come I have a child? It must Beru whom you had said those words he had a missing child 26 years ago.” Frozal said irritated by what Laquadia had mocked to him.
“You know I can’t say those words to him.” He said like a devil backstabbing the Second Prince.
“Hahahaha. You’re the worst Laquadia.” Desu told him laughing uproariously.
Everytime they met, they would often say this kinds of words to each other. They don’t care about whom they are talking to. There’s even a time were they had backstabbed some of the people they hated so much, even Pozial didn’t get away from their mouths. Actually, Zion is the best specimen Laquadia used in naming worst kinds of people.
“You know, I saw a frog eating a fly. Then it was eaten by a cat, then the cat was eaten by a dog whole. Then Pozial eat the dog like a sushi. You know he really is a retard he must have eaten the dog whole. I know it would fit fully in his mouth.” Laquadia joke made the two Princes behind him to laugh ludicrously.

Meanwhile in the other side of the Grand Ball, there can be seen two people chuckling with ridicule.
“I thought he looks like a Pug. Therefore, when I saw him I looked at him with pity and forget all my problems about myself.” Said the young man wearing a plain white suit.
“He really looked like a Pug, even his two lackeys looked like a bald sheep.” Said a handsome man with a red hair and a golden crown with a thumb sized star at its center. He wears a red suit with an 8 star emblem in his right chest.
This two men is no other that the Second Prince Beru and the Sixth Prince Zion.
In the Empire, this kinds of situation is natural to happen and backstabbing each other is a usual thing that happens every time they all met in a single room. But, when it comes to a serious things regarding the Empire they know how to set aside personal aggravation between them. That’s why even though how much they dislike each other they never had a fight more than words.
**********
Back to where Laquadia, Frozal and Desu is talking, a tall refined man approached them. He wears a black suit that have a golden linings all over it. The crown he wears never touches his hair and flew above his head majestically, on the center of the crown is a royal blue stone that looks like a diamond but not. It is appropriate to describe it as a usual stone that can be seen anywhere but this stone can elevate anything it touches. He then smiled and began to speak in a friendly manner.
“My brothers, what are you all talking about?” Pozial is actually neutral in all the things the five Princes is doing. He never mind if Laquadia is his friend and do not say any backstabbing words to anyone.
“Pozial, your here. Well it’s all about someone who looks like a donkey.” Desu replied casually.
“Well it’s not his concern, Desu.” Frozal told Desu informally and looked at Laquadia interestingly. “I heard that you had recruited someone to be a Fleet Commander without even serving in any mission or being a Captain, Laquadia.”
“His name is Mozti, I like him, he is too shameless and never cared about the words that came out of his mouth.” Laquadia replied unconcerned.
“Mozti? I felt something interesting about that name.” Said Pozial with a face full of interest.
“Isn’t he the missing son of Beru?” Desu said curiously.
“I don’t know, but I know that he have a potential to be a Fleet Commander.” Laquadia said looking at Desu meaningfully.
“I can train him to be a Fleet Commander, if you’d recommend him to me.” Frozal said interested in taking Frozal as his student. Frozal is actually the best Fleet Commander and Armada Commander of the Empire and he is also known as the Space Prince aside from being the Water God.
“How interesting you had a liking to him Frozal. If all of us is like that to him he might be called an Imperial Son.” Laquadia looked at Frozal deeply not wanting him to train Mozti because he knows that kid shows a deep gratitude to those people who helped him. Therefore, he don’t want Mozti to be like that, he might be selfish but he do it when he knows he can.
“You really is an egocentric, Laquadia. It is also for Mozti’s progress.” Pozial told him sarcastically. He knows Laquadia to be selfish and when he became that person you cannot stop him from being one.
“It is already midnight, gentlemen. My light show is about to happen. It’s better we watch it rather than to fight for a commoner.” Desu said walking past them towards a large window of the room and followed by all the people inside of it together with the Princes he had a conversation with.
Millions of drones fly high up in the air covering the starry sky with different kinds of colorful lights that is programmed to make a spectacular show that illuminates the surrounding and wowed that whole people looking high up the sky. Even the common people and the Jadasians of the Berelus Divine City are watching the spectacular show prepared by the Third Prince himself for his visitors and his people. This only means that the Imperial Grand Ball is at its end.
