Empire Of Jadase: New Day - Chapter 16
Five days had passed and news spread in the Empire about the mobilization of the Ice Imperial Armada into war. The Ice Kingdom hadn’t saw the last rays of sunshine in that few days and some of the plants began to turn yellow and some animals are now roaring and howling from the unprecedented experience they had from the days they didn’t saw the sun. Thousands of spacecrafts began to power up their engines, loud booms can be heard in the skies like thunders. Lands began to shake and the air became distorted and swish there and here making the people go back to their houses. Flying birds are now helpless in the strong wind that battered them and some of the animals began to find a shelter in the nearest buildings or trees. High up in the sky in the largest spacecraft which is called the Sylvestra 67 Armada Command Ship. Inside its command room which is made up of 10 rows with 5 chair on each row are 50 people wearing a black space suit sitting in front of a table full of textual holograms . On the center sit is a handsome man wearing a plain white space suit with a snowflake patterns around it. He wears a crown which is like that of a starry night.
“The Fleet have now powered their engines, my Prince. We are now ready to depart.” Said the person on the 6th row.
“Let’s leave.” Ordered Laquadia casually. After he said those words, the people inside the command room began to transmit a message towards the Fleet Commanders and spacecraft Captains to leave the planet.
Boommmm!
Sounds of booming began to resonate everywhere as the spacecrafts began to fly into space and the sunlight then poured down to the ground and shined brightly as more spacecrafts leaves the planets atmosphere. 40 minutes had passed and the sky is now clear and small black dots can be seen above the clear blue sky. People began to live normally again, while the animals and birds roamed freely in the ice forest.
The Ice Imperial Armada is now flying above Planet Melicah. It passes through Planet Sylvultra which have three large continents that is not divided by water but rather by gargantuan canyons. After an hour it then approached Planet Depluca which is the largest planet in the system and is made up of vast dense forest that takes up half of the planets continent. There are also many rivers that connects to the gigantic ocean in the western part of the planet. After 2 hours it then passed Planet Siztrupa which is the second largest planet in the system and is made up of tall mountain ranges.
“We are now leaving Lemuste System, my Prince.” Said the person in the third row towards Laquadia. Lemuste System is found in sector 94Y,35X in the Bizir Galaxy. A sector is like a longitude and a latitude in the globe. Y is for longitude of the sector in the Bizir Galaxy Map and X is the latitude of the sector.
“Enter the Nebular Wormhole and teleport the Armada in sector 36Y,89X. That will make our travel to the Durtians System faster. When we appear in the sector, ready the shields and the weapons. Order all the Fleet Commanders that they need to spit into two. Those Fleets who carries the ground troops must be protected at all cost. War is on our way.” Laquadia said giving his first orders to the Armada. Nebular Wormhole is found 4,000 miles from Lemuste System and is one of the billions of powerful teleportation system the Empire have and can teleport the whole Armada within 150 light years of area within the Bizir Galaxy. (One light years is equal to 5.88 trillion miles or 9.46 trillion kilometers.) A sector has an area of 70 light years while the diameter of the Bizir Galaxy is approximately 106,000 light years. Therefore, the Empire of Jadase can teleport at approximately less than 0.0014% of the whole Bizir Galaxy. That’s why the Empire had built millions of this kinds of long range teleportation systems in the whole Galaxy.
“We will arrive and be teleported within 2 weeks to our destination, my Prince.” Said one of the person in the first row.
“Let’s improve our Troops ground battle within this two weeks. Train them in their designated stations transmit my orders order that to all the Ground Generals.” Said Laquadia towards the men in the 5th row which are the people who are tasked to do the communications towards the whole Armada.
“Understood, my Prince.” Replied one of the man respectfully towards Laquadia. They know that taking advantage of those days is a great opportunity to train those people which can help them to be stronger before the war.
“Take care of the other things in here from now on, Deisham. I’ll go to check the status of Sylvestra 67 and the Rothars within.” Laquadia said and walked out of the Command Room.
Laquadia is now walking in a hallway passing a military cabin and overhead the casual conversation of 10 young men in uniforms.
“Now, who wants to compete with me.” Said a man at the center.
“We can’t compete in you anymore. Your good at making all kinds of Vagor. How can we defeat you then?” Replied a man sitting in the left side of the cabin with an embarrassed manner.
“He’s right, we can’t defeat you with that game, Athur.” Said another man to the young man called Athur.
“How come you can’t defeat me with that game. It’s easy, we all learned it in the academy back then.” Athur replied displeased with the manners of his comrades in competing against him.
“Can we compete then? Laquadia appeared in front of them. After they saw him they were all shock and veneration can be seen on their eyes.
“First Prince, I can’t believe to see you in here.” Asked a young man standing in the right corner of the cabin shocked.
“I overheard some of the conversation all of you are talking about. Can I compete with you?” Laquadia said casually and looked at Athur in the eyes.
“It’s my honor to compete with you, my Prince. Short wordings is fine with me since your too busy.” Athur replied respectfully.
“Okay then, who shall start first?” Laquadia asked Athur.
“I’ll start first, my Prince. It will have some insulting words but I wish you’ll understand that this is only part of the game.” Athur replied confidently. Vagor is a short story or just a simple lines that aims to overshadow your opponents own story and lines. It has no specific topic but it requires for the both of the opponent to give a sense of intellect. The judge will be their own selves.
After 2 minutes of thinking Athur began to speak to finally begin the War of Vagor “There are times that we wanted to kill or to poison that person we hated so much but we can’t even do it because we have fear. If we wanted to shut that person’s mouth we just have to let them read this ‘If A equals success, then the formula is A equals X plus Z, with X being works and Z keeping your mouth shut.’ Also, the surest poison is time and to be proud of virtue is to poison oneself with the antidote.”
“What a good start we had here.” Laquadia said casually and began to speak his own Vagor. “By sense of humor everyone can laugh, by sense of fear everyone is afraid, by sense of war everyone can commit crime, by sense of killing everyone can be massacred but with the sense of authority you can do everything. That’s why there are laws to be abided by everyone. Not all is an abiding citizens of a nation because there are some people who wanted to go beyond the limits and began to do more than they can even reach.”
After everyone had heard the exchanging of Vagor by this two men they then began to listen more intently.
“This War of Vagor is going to be interesting, my Prince. The next one will be longer. I titled it ‘After your Death’.” Athur said and began to recite his Vagor with a very deep sense of longing and love. “One year after your death felt like just yesterday and all those memories of unforgettable scenarios with you are the only things that reminds myself that you are once part of me. Whenever I’m alone, all those memories of grace and passion came back to me one by one and I felt like you are there holding my face like a soft pillow. Everyday of my life after you were gone, I went in a place where we have treasured every moment and every bit of a second and I can still embrace the memories of tomorrow where we promised to walk in a church and seal our love forever and begin a new beginning with a house full of laughter of our children, grandchildren or even great grandchildren. If only I can reverse the time, I’ll choose to give my own life and breath for you, if only I can. Why do you need to die and left me alone without a soul and making me feel like a fallen God from my throne and letting my love for you be sealed from a thousand years of forever in repentance. I think your death was done with a purpose for me to realize that your face won’t get older in my mind and your picture of love will still remain beautiful and innocent in my heart. In this case, even if I get older, it won’t remind me of any wrinkled face and a white hair but instead it will remind me a face of a woman that is always in love because of you. For me, your love remains until the end of forever and all those memories with you will always be the same and fresh. My love for you will always be like a reigning champion that can’t be defeated until death till forever. Even I grieve for a year, I still believe that in my heart and my mind will always remind me that our love will last till the end of eternity.”
After Athur had finished delivering his Vagor he smiled widely and he saw everyone in the cabin remained silent. No one speak any word only their ragged panting can be heard resounding in the four corners of the room.
“I can’t believe your this great.” Finally Laquadia broke the silence and spoke in a pleasured tone. He really loves where this War of Vagor is going.
In the Empire, Laquadia is one of the best in delivering all sorts of Vagor. But today, he saw this man called Athur and he knows they this person is great in composing his own Vagor and can turn over the table if he doesn’t make his best Vagor.
“Athur, you over done it this time.” Said someone in the cabin.
“Your really the best. I can’t believe your just holding on us back then. Your a monster.” Seconded the person on the right corner of the cabin.
“I wanted to hear more. My Prince, give us more.” Said someone on the left side excitedly.
“Okay, my turn. I titled my Vagor ‘I Wish’. It’s a bit shorter than yours but it can do the work.” Laquadia said casually. He then began to change his mood into that of great reveries in the past and spoke in a tone full of regret and longing. “My beloved, someone like you means forever to be remembered even in the thousand years of afterlife. I still remember the first time our eyes met and I can still remember the true meaning of love that comes in your every smile. To be embraced with your caring hands when I am sick, I feel like an important patient needed to be cared with passion and grace of love. Whenever I feel upset, you are there to help me recognize that there is always a new beginning in a past failure. Whenever I longed for your love, you always remind me that you are there embracing the love we cherished for each other. I feel contented in every bit of my heart, but there is always a part of me longing for one thing and that is trust. I know that you trust me but I can’t accept the fact that I trusted you. You always tell me all your childhood days, what is your favorite food, what is your favorite place and everything, but I can’t even tell you how I feel towards you and I can’t even say the word ‘I Love You’. I wish you are still here beating every second like my heart, recognizing every hour and day we had done together and ‘I Wish’ I can still remember to say ‘I Love You’ in the afterlife.”
Once again the cabin remained silent for 1 minute. After they all understand every bit of those words someone shed a tear remembering someone he loves.
“The both of you have really a deep longing in you heart. I can’t even take those Vagors you two had delivered. If this goes on I am going to leave this room. I can’t take it anymore.” The man said on the left side of the cabin. Even though he is a man, hearing all those sense of longing from his own fellow he can feel all the secrets they are hiding deep in their hearts.
“Have the both of you lost someone you love?” Asked someone in the cabin.
“You know my story brother, I didn’t lost someone. I deliver Vagors just like that.” Replied Athur to the man casually. If this person haven’t lost someone to have an inspiration to make and deliver a Vagor like that, then he must be a professional Vagor master. After Athur said those words everyone looked at Laquadia interestingly to hear his answer.
“I haven’t lost someone, we just parted ways that’s all.” Laquadia said with a deep meaning to his voice.
After they heard Laquadia’s answer they then understand that this person has a great longing and sometimes pain locked deep inside his heart.
“Sorry about that, my Prince.” Said the person who had asked the question a while back.
“It’s okay, how about we continue our War of Vagor, Athur?” Laquadia said casually forgetting the deep sense of remorse he is feeling deep within.
“No problem, the next one will be a bit longer.” Athur replied to Laquadia casually. Then all of the audience inside the cabin began to listen intently fearing they will lost something important.
