Empire Of Jadase: New Day - Chapter 18

Every Jadasian in the Empire has a Rothar, so did the First Prince. He is now walking in a long hallway that have a size of 2,000 feet from bottom to top and a width of 900 feet, obviously this hallway is intended for those gigantic creatures who walks into it. When you look Laquadia you cannot see him if you don’t use any binoculars.

The hallway is made up of steel like woods from the Desul trees. In every 30 metes of the hallway there can be seen large rooms with gigantic doors. Inside this doors are Ice type Rothars that can’t travel space without the protection of a special habitat room made for them. The habitat rooms are made up of natural surroundings which is inlined with the place this type of Rothars usually lives. Some have deep cold lakes where fishlike Rothars can be seen swimming, some have a very cold temperature that can freeze the water instantly after it touches the air and there can be seen a snow white tigers that have a very deep blue eyes that roared and walks around this wintery area inside the habitat room. All the rooms in the hallway have all kinds of snow covered surroundings. Laquadia is walking in this hallway and stopped in a particular room. Inside is an environment that has an eternal space within it where it radiated a coldness that can burn the skin and darkness that can blind the eyes. Inside is a gigantic dragon that is surrounded by blue flames, it have a two black horns and a starry night body where there can be seen all sorts of clustered stars, nebulas and some of the heavenly bodies. This Rothars are inside this room because space Rothar cannot travel space for too long, especially now that they are in the middle of the teleportation void.

This Rothar is a God of all Rothars, this one is known as the Prince Rothar, if this Rothar becomes more powerful and when it ascended it will then be called the King Rothar. King Rothars are only limited in number, 10-20 King Rothars is allowed to live in the whole universe. If it will exceed that number the new Prince Rothar who became a King Rothar will die upon ascension. When the King Rothars ascended it will be called Emperor Rothar and there are only 4 of them in the whole universe, no one knows if Emperor Rothars have ascension limits like the King Rothars have.

“Zeno Xenia, how are you boy?” Laquadia asked his Rothar happily. He didn’t saw this Rothar of his for a month. Therefore he really have missed him.

“I’m fine in here, master. I wanted to fly out in space again with you. I miss those things.” Zeno replied to Laquadia excitedly. He misses this master of his very much and very excited to have a bonding time with him again. All Godly Rothars can travel space anytime they want like the Space Rothars. It is said that Space Rothars are offsprings of those divine Rothars, therefore they have the same blood running into them that allowed them to travel the space.

“Excited are we, huh?” Laquadia replied teasingly towards his Rothar. “Okay then, you can come out in there and let’s fly into space together.” Added Laquadia merrily. He also wanted to have a good time with Zeno. After he heard what Laquadia had said, Zeno excitedly made a void in front of him and he teleported himself out of the room. He then appeared in front of Laquadia with a height of 1,450 feet and a length of 3,000 feet. This Rothar is like a small moving mountain, it is really gargantuan in size. After he saw Zeno in front of him he then ride gid back towards the entrance where Rothars went out when deployed to war.

“I miss this feeling, Zeno. Let’s circle the whole Armada.” Laquadia said with a smiling face. He loves to ride his Rothar every time he has a free time in a stressful life of being a leader and a Prince of the Empire.

They are now flying around the spacecrafts of the Armada while it is in the middle of the teleportation void towards their destination. Bright colorful lights can be seen everywhere, his Rothar and himself is powerful enough to resist the strong force of teleportation energy that battered them like a cool breeze of wind. They traveled the whole Armada for about 3 hours, finally they are now too exhausted from the extensive waste of energy in resisting the power of time and space due to the void they are traveling.

“Zeno let’s go back, we have a great time today.” Laquadia said happily recalling the laughter they both shared in flying the void together.

“No problem, master.” Zeno replied and went to fly back to the entrance they had exited 3 hours ago.

Laquadia is now back inside the war room. He leaved Zeno immediately after they returned in the habitat rooms and when he received the sudden news about Neros. He is now having a serious conversation with some of the important people in his Armada including Deisham.

“My Prince, we still don’t have any news about Neros.” Said Deisham anxiously. 6 days had passed since Neros had left the Ice Kingdom. He can reach his destination faster than Laquadia because he only have a small number of Fleet under his command.

“As one of the best Fleet Commander in the Empire he have ways to pull this up, even the Fourth Prince recognized this talent of him. We just need to believe that he is still alive.” Said someone confidently.

“I understand you my brother, but we need not to be overly confident that Neros is okay. We need to find a way to contact him.” The person beside Deisham said seriously.

“We need all the information that he had after he probed the enemy, it’s the most essential part of his mission. We must go their faster than the scheduled time we had planned if we cannot contact him again.” Said the person on the left.

“We must wait three more days before we make a final conclusion. For now, we need to believe that his okay.” Laquadia said perturbed. Neros had been his friend for no one knows how many eons had passed. They had a great adventure together when going to any place in the galaxy, battling together with Deisham until they killed all of their enemies.

“Believing is different from trusting, my Prince. I trust Neros that he is okay.” Deisham said agitated. This is also one of the reasons when Deisham lost his composure, once he don’t know what happened to his friends.

“Your right Deisham, I must not believe in Neros, rather, I must trust him.” Laquadia said correcting his mistake.

Bangggggg!

The sound of a door that was forcefully opened by someone who looks shocked and disbelief can be seen on his face.

“My Prince, urgent message from Neros! They ha-a-d been ca-cap-tured and the-eir F-fl-eet ha-a-d been ut-ter-ter-ly des-destroyed!” The man said nervously towards Laquadia and all the people inside the war room handling them a rounded thing that came from the drone that Neros had sent before he had been captured.

“What?!!!!” Deisham is the first one to react from the words he had heard.

“We must head their directly and rescue Deisham and the others!” Said someone on the right side of the room.

“This is impossible!”

“It is unprecedented!”

“Do you think we had underestimated the enemy?”

“They had progressed that much that they can now annihilate 3 Fleets commanded by Neros?”

Commotion then began to erupt inside the war room as everyone cannot believe the news they had just heard.

“Enough! We didn’t underestimate the enemy. Neros had been ambushed. We must not panic, the balance is still in our side. Activate the message Neros had given.” Laquadia said silencing everyone inside the war room. He knows something is wrong in this situation. The enemy knew that Nero is coming, there must be someone inside that leaked the information and he must know it as soon as possible.

After the man who had delivered the bad news heard what the First Prince had ordered him to do, he began to activate the rounded thing in his hand which is a hologram Neros had sent as the last message he had before being captured.

“My Prince, sorry that I had failed you.” Neros said solemnly within the hologram, in his surroundings there can be seen people panicking and holding all sorts of guns. ” The enemy have powerful Capital Ships, it can launch antimatter lasers within 60 seconds.” Antimatter lasers are powerful beams that takes longer to recharge 250-350 seconds is the maximum time the Empire’s Capital Ships can launch them but the enemy’s Capital Ships can launch it within 60 seconds, it is too concerning. “If you can destroy their Armada, their war prowess will be reduced greatly and victory is for sure. Still, you need to be careful, that’s all that I had gathered.” Neros said and beams can now be seen and heard on his background. Many of his subordinates are now injured and some summoned some powerful spells and Rothars can also be seen fighting the enemies to death.

Neros then began to get erratic in the hologram but before the hologram disappeared he said his last words smiling bitterly. “I had a great life traveling, adventuring and fighting at you side, my Prince. You are truly a great friend, you never acted as a Prince whenever we had a conversation together with Deisham. I wish we can still see each other again after this, my friend….. goodbye for now.” The last words Neros had said after he turned off the hologram and sent it on the drone.

‘We will see each other again, my friend. I promise you that.’ Laquadia said inwardly with a somber face.

‘I’ll do everything possible to rescue you, Neros.’ Deisham said inwardly depressed to see his friend being captured.

“You can leave now.” Laquadia ordered the person who had entered the war room bringing the news from Neros.

All the Fleet Commanders, Ground Generals and High Ranking Officials inside the war room became silent after they heard the last message of Neros after the hologram had ended. They cannot believe the recharging time of the antimatter lasers of the enemies have, it’s beyond imagination.

“How can we defeat them with that insanely fast antimatter lasers of their Capital Ships.” Said someone in the left side of the room.

“I’m sure they had the support of the Guimduras Republic.”

“We must plan another tactic to overthrow their Armada.”

“My Prince, what do you think?” Finally someone asked Laquadia on his thoughts about the matter. He haven’t commented before because he is in the deepest part of concentration to come up with all the possible things they need to do.

1 minute had passed before Laquadia said in a commanding voice. “We must enter their system within 3 days. Order all the Fleet Commanders to power up their Fleets engine to its maximum. Rescuing Neros and others is now our at most priority. Activate plan AP1206 after we entered their system.”

“Plan AP1206, my Prince? It’s too early to activate it.” Deisham said stunned by what Laquadia had ordered them to do.

Plan AP1206 is an Armada command tactic where all the Fleet Command Ships are in the first line which acts as a powerful shield and the Capital Ships are behind them to do the support, it is making a powerful shield protecting other weaker spacecrafts like Cruisers and Frigates. It is like what oxen do when protecting their offsprings from the attack of a wolf pack. When the Armada will be assaulted by the enemy, the Fleet Command Ships will be the first to counterattack with their powerful Heavy Particle Beams. It is both use for defense but is more effective when used for offensive. It is what the saying goes ‘defense is the best offense’ and vice versa.

“We must do everything in our hands, Deisham. Decisiveness is the key for this battle.” Laquadia replied to what Deisham had said.

“Do you think the enemy’s Armada is more powerful than what Neros had said, my Prince?” Someone asked Laquadia curiously.

“It is not only the Armada we must be concerned of, they still have a Planet protecting them, acting as a Fortress. According to the intelligence I have gathered, the cannons within it can destroy a Frigate when hit directly and the Cruisers will heavily damaged.” Laquadia said worriedly.

“The Armada must be destroyed first then the Fortress. I’m sure invading their home planet will be as easy as killing an ant.” Someone said confidently.

“Killing an ant? I don’t think so, those lizards are powerful in the battlefield. They can topple unorganized battalion with their own Republic Divine Army battalions that are composed of 20,000 strong troops. Even though the number is small, it is still equivalent to the number of our battalion.” The First Prince said concerned and with a glint of angriness on his face.

“Never underestimate any enemy you face! Your a Ground General, and you say those nonsense blabbering?! Is this your first time in war?! You are an ignoramus, you are not qualified to be in this room if your attitude is like that!” Deisham said furiously towards the person who had just commented something hilarious about killing their enemies like an ant. As a Ground General, to disparage your enemy means your putting your troops into extermination. Therefore, it is just right to tell this person how dumbed he is to say those nonsense words.

“Leave this room immediately, your demoted from being a Ground General. Serve the Kingdom as an ordinary troop for 50,000 years.” Laquadia said casually to the person who had been reprimanded by Deisham a while ago.

“My Prince, I didn’t intend to say those words.” The person reputed to Laquadia shocked.

“Intend? I don’t care, but if you don’t leave this room immediately. I’ll notify your family that you are killed in ‘action’.” Laquadia said nonchalantly towards the person who have a shocked face.

“But, my Pri…”

Boommmm!

The person didn’t finished what he had to say when suddenly he was sent like a falling star out of the war room. He bled profusely and shocked was written all over his face. 50,000 years is just like a flick of a sleeve compared to their millions of life span. But, being an ordinary army again after being demoted from a Ground General for the span of this time is an excruciating pain that he needs to endure.

“Those who disparage the enemy will be like him.” Laquadia said casually and stand from the chair he is sitting. “Everyone that’s all. You can leave now.” Then he added not caring about what happened recently.

Everyone leaves the room together with Laquadia towards the Armada Command Room. This day will serve as a lesson for them.
