Empire Of Jadase: New Day - Chapter 39
“My Lord, may I know when are we going to meet him?”
The humanoid dragon asked Deisham pleasantly. He doesn’t want to anger him with his gloomy looks that had been plastered since they brought up the idea to meet with Laquadia. He knows that something is wrong but he is cautiously digging the problem.
“Sorry, but the only answer I am going to give you is…. indefinite.”
Deisham knows that these Leaders really wanted to meet Laquadia in person. This is to have a formal meeting with him as their Paramount Leader.
“Gentlemen, don’t worry I am your Paramount Leader…. indefinitely.” He added making the Leaders frown slightly. Deisham can deduce from their expression that they are not pleased about the possibility that they are being played by the Ice Kingdom.
“My Lord, I understand what you mean. I saw a majestic creature and a Jadasian riding it’s back flying out of this spacecraft an hour before we start the process of signing these documents. I think that is the Paramount Leader if I’m not mistaken.” The wolf like-horse said full of sympathy towards Deisham. He understands the situation this Jadasian is going through, as he remembered someone who is definitely like the First Prince.
“Well, I think we need to go back to our business. If you need any assistance, you can go to the Imperial War Hall. There are already 70 Ground Generals and Fleet Commanders waiting for some of you.”
Deisham calmed himself after the wolf like-horse gave him a look of assurance as well as sympathy. He is thankful that there is someone who can give him a heads up in dealing with his present problem.
“Chancellors, welcome to the Ice Kingdom, Empire of Jadase,” Deisham added welcoming the new leaders of the Autonomous States under the Ice Kingdom. Calling them Chancellors only solidified the relationship they have as allies or even more than that.
After some time, 20 of the Chancellors was escorted towards the space station inside the Sylvestra 67 ACS. 5 of the other Chancellors went directly towards the Wat Hall accompanied by Deisham himself. High Ranking Officials of the Ice Imperial Armed Forces are waiting for them like what he had said. Shockingly, Mozti is among those Officials who are inside the War Hall.
The War Hall’s atmosphere change that of seriousness from the hubbub that is happening before Deisham and the Chancellors entered the Hall. Obviously, all of them are in a debate on what to do regarding the new autonomous states which they have to assist in the war they are at.
Going to the center of the War Hall together with the other 5 Chancellors, Deisham began to speak full of commanding voice.
“War in this sector is far from over. There are still things that needed to be solved through war. These are the new Chancellors of the Ice Kingdom in this sector.” Deisham introduced the 5 Chancellors with him.
“Chancellor Dragonus Vervatin of the Republic of Divine Notius.” He introduced the humanoid dragon in front of the Jadasians inside the War Hall. After Dragonus heard his name he immediately went forward and bowed respectfully.
“Chancellor Krakos Reilm of the Grudes Empire.” The wolf like-horse also went forward and made a respectful bow.
“Chancellor Hykris Fruq of the People’s State of Hurtas.” An octopus humanoid made the same gesture towards the Jadasians in front of him
“Chancellor Xyguz Cylix of the Divine Empire of Frebus.” A very petite middle-aged man that resembled a human in every way you look at him, only that he gives out a majestic air around him. Immediately he bowed without walking forward letting some of the Jadasians inside to raise their eyebrows interested in the attitude this man is giving them.
“Chancellor Pylus Borze of the Republic of Vilter.” Suddenly, a very handsome elf made a casual strides making small ripples of natural laws and bowed deeply. Obviously, Vilterians are adept at controlling the natural laws around them.
In fact, all of the Chancellors that Deisham had introduced are powerful experts in their own Nation. They have the ability to control and craft powerful spells that can kill their enemies instantly. Only that, Jadasians are more powerful compared to them due to the more complex spells they can summon.
Only the Republic of Divine Notius cannot summon or cast spells. Instead, they have powerful bodies like that of true dragons that can crush rocks instantly. Thus, they are relying on their powerful bodies to fend their enemies.
“Gentlemen, it is up to you to choose the Ground Generals and Fleet Commanders to assist you with your war.” Deisham gives them a rounded object where all the details, personal information and achievements regarding a particular Ground General and Fleet Commander are stored. Deisham intended to give them this information to let them have their own decision of whom they are going to pick, and to assist them and gaining victory for their Nation.
In the back row of the War Hall, Mozti can be seen having an attentive conversation with the Jadasian beside him. In front of them, the Chancellors began to read the information contained in the rounded object earnestly not wanting to miss a single detail.
“My friend, can I ask you something?” Mozti asked the Jadasian beside him with a sour face.
“No problem….I told you to call me by my name, Satur.” The tall Jadasian said towards Mozti.
Mozti was actually surprised when he and Satur meet on the way to the War Hall when he received the message ordering them to gather in here.
“Why do we need to control this sector when we had already conquered the whole Nymphos System?” Mozti is looking forward that Satur can answer his question. In fact, this question has been revolving around his head for almost an hour already after he heard this news.
“I think this is your first time to be deployed in the war.” Satur looked at him with a deep meaningful look. “With that, I must explain it to you sensibly. The Bizir Galaxy has more than 1,500 sectors, in those sectors, it has approximately 5 or 10 Systems. On some of the Systems, there can be 4 or even a hundred Nations sharing its resources. Unlike the Empire of Durtan or the Nation of the Chancellors in front of you, they are technologically advanced or have a strong military power, thus, they can control a whole System. Well, that doesn’t mean that they are already a haven in the Galaxy. Some of the Nations like them or even more powerful than them will always have the greediness to conquer them for the resources they have. Hence, war is inevitable and that is one of the reasons why there is war. But…”
“Can you just go straight to the point?” Mozti interrupted him irritatedly after he heard the lecture like explanation of Satur. He is not foolish when it comes to those things. Only, he doesn’t understand why does this war expanded to that of controlling the whole sector.
“Sorry….” Satur looks at Mozti apologetic and continued to answer the question he had been asked. “It is a power struggle between the Empire of Jadase and the Guimduras Republic. The Guimduras Republic controls 126 Sectors which are mainly because of the influence they have in trading valuable resources to the Nations in the Galaxy. While the Empire of Jadase controls 122 sectors. 22 of the Sectors are under the Ice Kingdom and the other Kingdoms have 20 Sectors each.” Satur explained in a more concise manner.
“The total Sectors that are controlled by both Nation is only less than a quarter of the whole Sectors of the Galaxy combined.” Mozti is astonished at the information he heard from Satur regarding the power struggle between the two influential Nations.
“The allies of both the powerful Nations are not yet included in that number.” Satur continued giving more information regarding the power struggle that is happening in the Bizir Galaxy. “As a matter of fact, there are two other major players on this Galactic Domination. The Federated States of Hyzus and the Democratic Empire of Bardus which have a complex form of government.”
“Those two Nations are in the South and West consecutively.” Mozti had read about this two Nations when he went in the Imperial Library to pass time. He also chanced upon the comprehensive map of the whole Bizir Galaxy. The Empire of Jadase is in the North while the Guimduras Republic is in the East. Ergo, this Four Major Players of the Galactic Domination deserve to be called the authoritarian regimes in their own domains.
In fact, the Federated Empire of Bardus is the major ally of the Jadasians in the West. While the other Nation is the major ally of their sworn enemy, the Guimduras Republic.
This new information truly made Mozti see the whole Galaxy in a more substantial view.
“I think I don’t need to explain those things to you.” Satur looked at Mozti eloquently.
He can discern from the bright eyes of Mozti that he is an ingenious Jadasian who don’t need to be given a sluggish conversation.
“But….” Satur said. “…..Nations have their own limits. Don’t be surprised when you wake up seeing them sink at the bottom of their ambitions.” He looked at Mozti indifferently opposite that of what he had said.
Mozti knitted his brows on what Satur had said. He cannot comprehend those words, due to the fact that, he knows each of these Nations has a very deep heritage and history that can lift them from collapsing.
“What do you mean by that?” He asked him seriously.
Satur chuckled softly when Mozti asked him that question. “Know the answer by yourself.”
Suddenly, Satur’s name is being called by a very petite middle-aged man who is Chancellor Xyguz Cylix. The assortment of the Ground Generals and Fleet Commanders has begun to accompany those Chancellors in regaining momentum or even victory in the war they are at.
“See you soon, my friend.” Satur stands up and went directly beside Chancellor Xyguz Cylix.
Mozti who is seating alone, watched as every Jadasians inside the War Hall are being called one by one. He is already excited to be called out by one of those Chancellors. He never regrets attacking those Supreme Leaders and steals their identities. Which unknowingly became traitors of the Ice Kingdom. Thankfully with his self-centered ambition, killed two birds with one stone.
10 minutes had passed and unfortunately, three of them are left behind. Mozti’s face is now irritated as well as maddened when he looked at the mocking face of his eternal enemy, Deisham. He knows that the information about him has been updated by the order of the First Prince. Thus, making him have a dull background and experience in war. He really wanted to add on his information that he had suppressed two Supreme Leaders. Which is only half the truth.
“Efsayah Mozti Shriem.” Chancellor Pylus Borze called his name. Mozti was truly shocked when he heard his name. Even though he is waiting to be called it still made him feel surprised and shocked. Without any hesitation, he immediately stands up and walks proudly beside the Chancellor.
When Deisham saw the proud face and the way Mozti make his strides going towards Chancellor Pylus, his eyes widened. ‘This Jadasian has a face as thick as a planet’s mantle.’ He looked at Mozti scornfully when he arrived standing beside him.
“If only Laquadia doesn’t order me to put your name on the list, you’ll count all the stars you see,” Deisham said softly on his ears full of disdain.
“I think you already tried counting the stars.” Mozti countered him with a deep meaning on his words.
“I am always the first to be called when I am in the Academy. You don’t have the right to say those words, brat!”
“I’m thankful that I never went to any Military Academies when I became a Fleet Commander. I presume, your name had been called a thousand times before you became….” Mozti said belittling his status as a Ground General.
“If I am given the chance to slit that mouth of yours, I’ll first need to measure the thickness of your face. Just to make sure, I am using the right sword.” Deisham replied to him full of killing intent.
“You truly is a genius when it comes to being a fool.” Mozti is now all out in insulting this sworn enemy of his.
“I’m…..”
“My Lord, I think we are already finished picking our Ground Generals and Fleet Commanders. When are we going to leave?” Chancellor Dragonus Vervatin asked him cutting the words he had to say towards Mozti. It made him feel maddened in the inside, but eventually, he looked at the Chancellor with a smiling face.
“You can leave anytime you want after the preparations are finished,” Deisham answered him.
All the Chancellors bowed towards him and after 15 seconds they began to walk out of the War Hall followed by the High Ranking officials they had selected to accompany them.
Mozti also followed them outside and looked at Deisham happily.
‘I am always at the end of the rope every time I am conversing with those two cretinous Jadasians.’ Deisham saw the fading figure of Mozti. He truly never had the chance to strike Mozti or even Laquadia at the end of their searing conversation. ‘I cannot imagine what will happen to me if someday I found out the both of you are father and son.” He said presuming the identity of Mozti as Laquadia’s son when he realized that he is always persecuted by those two individuals.
In the hallway going towards the space station inside Sylvestra 67 ACS. Mozti can be seen walking pleasantly and making a delighted conversation with the Jadasian beside him.
“My Lord, you are one of the best Fleet Commanders in the whole Ice Imperial Armada. Can you teach me some of your tactics?” Mozti asked the tall man wearing a black spacesuit.
“I told you to drop that formal address. You can call me by my name Allistair.” The Jadasian chuckled towards him merrily before he became serious. “Commanding a Fleet needs a lot of experience and with the help of this.” He pointed at his chest where his heart is located. “It needs passion and love to the things you are doing. If there are tactics that you need to learn, I can give you one or two.” Allistair gives Mozti a heads up on helping him improve his commanding skills.
“You can help me anytime since we are in the same group under Chancellor Pylus,” Mozti said excitedly.
“We can start immediately if you want to.”
Mozti looked at him with veneration after he heard those words from Allistair. Suddenly, he turned turbid when he remembered Neros. If he is still alive, he might have personally asked him to train him.
“What’s wrong?” Allistair asked him curiously.
“Nothing.” He answered him with a week de smile on his face.
“Here, you can have it.” Allistair gave him a square like object which is like the size of his palm. “Inside are the tactics I made when I am still in the Academy. It might be limited, but it can help you advance with your current commanding skills. Also, it is inferior compared to Neros’s own tactical warfare.” He added giving him a warning regarding his own tactics when compared to Neros.
“It’s better than nothing,” Mozti said thankfully and bowed towards him respectfully before he went towards the Frigate where he boarded going in here.
The Frigate fired its engines after Mozti boarded it and flew directly towards the Ganivade FCS.
