Empire Of Jadase: New Day - Chapter 45
Hundreds of pirates are in a frenzy when Tyrus walks in the hallway going towards the Command Room. They are now doing their best to escape from those dark elves. If they cannot, only time knows what horror they will face on the hands of those wicked pirates. They are now being hunted. As prey, there is only one thing they need to do, it is to hide while the hunter seeks.
As soon as he entered the Command Room. He saw Heratus giving orders tirelessly. Tyrus understands that this is not at the right moment to ask his questions, therefore, he went back to his own cabin and listlessly scanned the watch for his second weapon which is a bow.
He must find a legendary bow that will not cost him any stats points, unlike the Tivon sword.
Some bow that he saw is made of woods that are already extinct. Some have infinite bows to shoot but all those legendary bows need a lot of stats points for him to summon it.
Tyrus scanned all the bows for more than an hour and still, he cannot see the right bow for himself. He knows that there is a time limit to complete the first quest but he must choose the right bow this time.
30 more minutes of scanning, Tyrus then saw a very typical bow that is made of metal. Everywhere you look at it, you cannot see any peculiarities about it. This made Tyrus knit his eyebrows when he saw that the bow is classified under legendary. Curious, he selected the bow to see the information about it.
“Weapon’s name: Victorian Bow
Requirements before the user can use it:
None
(User’s potential must be genius.)
About the bow:
The bow is entirely made of iridium. The bow’s arrows can fire at a range of 3 miles depending on the user’s dexterity. The arrow is automatically generated by the bow everytime the user touches its string.
Basic Spell Set:
Unknown
Legendary Spell Set:
Unknown
Condition to summon this bow:
The user must exchange all his current dexterity.”
After he finished reading all the information about the Victorian Bow. Obscurity can be seen all over his face. This bow is more mysterious compared to the Tivon Sword. He cannot see the whole picture of this bow. Eventually, he asked himself the what-ifs of summoning this bow.
What if the bow only has one spell in every spell set?
What if the system had made an error in classifying the bow?
What if it is just a very ordinary bow with an erased information that made it be mysterious?
What if he is wrong?
Those questions are just among the hundreds of it that revolves in his mind.
‘Am I going to take the risk or not?’ He asked himself hesitantly. ‘Great opportunities come with a prize.’ Tyrus convinced himself and looked at the condition to summon the bow.
‘All my dexterity? That means, if I have 100 dexterity stats, I will lose all of them?’
Thankfully he has only 4 dexterity stats points left. Without minding the lose of his dexterity, Tyrus decided to summon it.
A powerful light began to spread all over the room. Tyrus then felt a very heavy thing pulling his hand down. The heaviness that he is experiencing is three times more than that of the sword.
“Do not let go when you are in the process of summoning your weapon, idiot. You will die if you do it.” The watch reminded him of what would happen if he will do what he is thinking.
“Now, you’re telling me about those things, moron? How absurd of you.” He said to the watch gritting his teeth tightly as the bow is becoming heavier in his right hand.
“75%….78%….80%….83%….”
‘What the fu… How much time do I need to hold this bow before my arm breaks off?’ Tyrus said as beans like sweat can now be seen on his face. Veins began to show beside his eyes as the bow is now 5 times heavier than before.
Tyrus cannot hold the bow any longer. His whole body is now shaking and he felt that he might collapse any moment. The bow is too heavy for his current strength.
“Moron, make it faster!” He shouted at the watch when he felt any moment from now he might collapse.
“95%….98%…99%…” The watch said to him and thankfully the bow is now fully summoned in Tyrus’s hand and without hesitation, he immediately put it inside his collection mode and collapsed on his bed exhausted.
“Quest 4 has been completed, transferring 30 stats points to your Stats Menu.”
After he heard it, Tyrus felt that all his energy came back and sits up straight in his bed.
“Now, I’m harvesting my labor.” He said and immediately checked his Stats.
“Here are you current Stats:
Strength: 10
Current Rank Status: None
Dexterity: 0
Current Rank Status: None
Intelligence: 10
Current Rank Status: None
Vitality: 5
Current Rank Status: None
Overall Current Rank Status: None
Stats Points Available: 30”
“Where am I going to spend this stats points? If I am going to spend it in my strength it can help me carry the Tivon sword or even the Victorian Bow. But still, I need the dexterity to fire those arrows. I think, I also need to improve my intelligence and vitality to last long-term battles.”
Tyrus said pondering over the situations he might encounter next time.
“I think I’ll just balance my stats.” He said and began to distribute all his stats points accordingly.
“Moron, add 5 points in strength and intelligence, 10 points in dexterity, and 10 points in vitality.”
“All points have been added and here are your current stats.
Strength: 15
Current Rank Status: None
Dexterity: 10
Current Rank Status: None
Intelligence: 15
Current Rank Status: None
Vitality: 15
Current Rank Status: None
Overall Current Rank Status: None”
Tyrus felt that his body became much stronger than before. He now understands that all of his strength depends on the current stats of his own Pirata System.
‘It’s time to complete the other quests.’ He said excitedly and went out of his cabin.
Today he is going to make sure that he’ll get the 50 bonus points.
