When the situations in the stock market and the K country became favourable for Lee Corporations after one month under Lee Tae Yang’s leadership, the board of directors unanimously selected the first young master Lee to lead the corporation instead of his ailing uncle.

Though he wasn’t interested in becoming the head of the Lee corps, Lee Tae Yang had no other option than accepting the offer.

Lee Tae Joon who was barely escaped from death was asked to take six months break from his official duties, in order to regain his deteriorated health.

Once everything settled down in K country, Lee Tae Yang decided to return to S city and pay a visit to Li Juan.

Not even for once, Li Juan switched on her mobile or get in contact with him.

If he hasn’t kept busy with his works, he would have gone insane in her absence.

He wished to hear her voice and feel her warmth.

However, when Lee Tae Yang reached Li Juan’s rooftop house, it was locked and there wasn’t anyone. He went to the restaurant where Li Qin used to work, to know the whereabouts of Li Juan.

“How is your uncle?” Li Qin inquired the neatly dressed young man who sat opposite her. His cool demeanour has changed within a month. In order to bring the maturity of the CEO of Lee Corporation, even his dressing style has been changed from lively casuals to well groomed semi-formal outfits.

“Uncle had few fractures, right now is on bed rest,”

“So you quit working as a doctor?”

Lee Tae Yang nodded in silence. He had to take a break from his medical career until his uncle returns to his CEO position,

“Good,” Li Qin said in a monotonous tone and slid the glass of Juice towards him.

“Xiao Li?” He enquired,

“She is fine…her results got published last week and her grades came well despite the fact that she did homeschooling,” Li Qin’s face glowed when she talked about her daughter’s achievement.

Li Juan managed to secure a position in the top ten students who qualified for the high school graduation which held nationwide.

The corners of his lips bloomed into a proud smile, “I went home, but Xiao Li wasn’t there,”

“Hmm, she works in a flower shop, saving money to move to Jing city. I don’t know whether your friends have mentioned it or not, Lili regained her memories,” Li Qin said after a moment,

“It seems like she has no memories of the time spent at the hospital or you,”

“I can remind her,” Lee Tae Yang said confidently,

Once his problems got settled, Chi Yan did mention that Li Juan’s memories have returned and she failed to recognize Chi Yan and Hao Ren. They were expecting it.

“Yangyang, my child…it is better for you to-” Li Qin’s words were monotonously cut by Lee Tae Yang,

“We didn’t break up, Aunt Li,” He voiced in a resolute tone.

“She was worried about you…she was scared that she might bring misfortune into your life. When she found about your uncle’s accident, she blamed it on herself and decided to stay away from your life.” Li Qin touched her forehead and sighed at the sight of Lee Tae Yang’s stubbornness. “She didn’t want to burden us anymore. So she tried to-” She didn’t complete her words,

“Aunt Li,” Lee Tae Yang reached out for Li Qin’s clenched palm in a comforting gesture.

“While lying half-conscious, she kept saying your name, apologizing for killing your parents, for ruining my life. But once she became conscious, she never mentioned you again…She didn’t recognize you or your friends,”

“It is the side effect of her injury and If I-”

“Yangyang, she has forgotten you and moved on with her life,”

“If I talk to her, she will remember me,” Lee Tae Yang repeated,

“I have only one request. Lili is leading a peaceful life without any trouble…she is preparing to start afresh…if you love her…please don’t ruin her happiness,” Li Qin clasped his palms and begged,

“I don’t know how long she will stay alive, but as long as she will live…please…please let her go,”

“Xiao Li loves me…we want to start a life together,”

“I will not allow it!!!… You and Lili, I will never allow it,” Li Qin raised her voice and declared, “Lili is my daughter and she will only listen to me,”

Lee Tae Yang remained silent for a moment, “Everyone cares for their own children..,”

When his bight face brooded over with a hurtful expression Li Qin understood that her words were harsh.

“Yangyang…Aunt doesn’t hate you…It’s..I don’t want to see her going through all those pain once again,”

“I understood…I will wait for her until she remembers me,” Lee Tae Yang stated firmly, “The day Xiao Li, remembers me…whether you allow it or not, I will take her home and introduce her as my girlfriend to everyone who blamed her for being an evil-bringer. I will prove them wrong…I will prove them all wrong..”

Lee Tae Yang stood in front of the glass door of the flower shop on the roadside, with a perplexed face.

It was the place, where Li Juan works part-time,

When the salesgirl saw a customer in confusion whether to enter onto their shop or not, she walked towards the glassdoor and let him inside,

“Welcome sir, how can I help you?”

“I…I want to…I came to,” Lee Tae Yang stuttered while trying to look for a reason. “Buy flowers,” His eyes darted across the shop, in search of Li Juan.

“Do you have any particular flowers on your mind? The salesgirl asked again, however, Lee Tae Yang appeared distressed,

Suddenly person in delivery uniform walked into the shop,

“Sir, why don’t you look around and decide which flower you want to buy?” The salesgirl encouraged Lee Tae Yang to search for the flower of his liking in the neatly organised flower racks.

“Lily,” The sales girl moved towards the closed back door of the shop and called out, “Can you come here?”

As soon as the name Lily fell on Lee Tae Yang’s ears, his heart started to pound heavily as he gazed in the direction of the door.

After a few seconds, Li Juan’s slender frame strode into the shop, with a water sprayer in her hand,

“Lily, can you help that customer?” The salesgirl said and glanced at Lee Tae Yang who remained frozen to the ground,

Li Juan nodded and warned towards him with a faint smile,

She remained the same as he remembered, there weren’t any changes in her.

“How can I help you, sir?”

“Lili,” He read the name written over the nameplate on her apron,

“Do you have any specific colour preference?” She asked,

Lee Tae Yang raised his eyebrows in a query,

“We have four colours of Lillies, white, pink, red and yellow. Which colour do you prefer?” She explained to the man who appeared dazed. She waited for a moment and asked him again.

However, Lee Tae Yang was totally lost in the sight of Li Juan and her modest behaviour towards him. She was talking to him as if he was a stranger. She didn’t recognize the person she loved the most in the world.

“Are you perhaps gifting flowers to your girlfriend?” Li Juan’s question wake him up from his muddled thoughts.

“Yes,” Lee Tae Yang replied under her charm,

“What is your girl friend’s favourite flower?”

“My girlfriend’s likes,” He stumbled upon his words…he never gifted her flowers and he never asked about her favourite flowers.

“What do you like?” Lee Tae Yang asked all of sudden,

“Me?” She was taken aback by his question.

“Hmm…which flower do you like to receive as gifts?”

Li Juan scanned the man who stood before his eyes. He had breathtakingly stunning looks, but his attractive face appeared clueless.

After working in the flower shop for a month, she has come across various types of people who came to buy flowers for their loved ones.

“I prefer plants more than flowers,” Li Juan answered honestly,

“Why?”

“I find flowers beautiful in plants rather than in a plastic wrapping,”

“So are you saying that it is better to give plants rather than flowers? Then which plant do you like the most?” Lee Tae Yang suddenly became talkative and for some reasons, he found himself enjoying conversing with Li Juan as a stranger.

“Ahhh it’s a tricky question,” Li Juan touched her ears and shifted her gaze here and there, “If I say one plant, then others will feel bad,” She muttered under her breath, “I can’t choose one for me, but I can definitely help you to choose one,” She smiled warmly and led him to the back door.

There was a glasshouse situated beside the flowershop, which is used as a nursery to grow plants.

“Please take a look, sir,” Li Juan said to him a began to follow him, subconsciously humming along a melodious song played in the glasshouse,

Lee Tae Yang walked along at her pace and glanced at the girl who appeared happy,

“You can sing aloud, I won’t mind” He commented,

“Ah…I am sorry…” Li Juan apologized immediately, “This song is too catchy, i couldn’t control-”

“Nah..it is alright, I liked it too.. May I know which song is this?”

“It is called “Tuberose,” our shop owner is addicted to this song, she plays it every day,” She replied with a bashful expression,

“What is it about?”

“It is about Forgotten love, ah..sir, how about chrysanthemum?” Li Juan pointed towards a plant and tried to change the topic, “It represents loyalty in love,”

“Do you have a boyfriend?” Lee Tae Yang stared at her ink-black eyes and asked without any shame,

Li Juan who understood the direction of this conversation broke her eye contact with him and reminded him about his girlfriend.

“Does your girlfriend likes roses?”

“She is planning to break up with me,” Lee Tae Yang said with a melancholic smile,

When Li Juan heard his words she was left at a loss of words,

“She thinks that she is not qualified to love me,”

“Oh, why though?” Li Juan was curious

“I made her insecure…I made her worry..maybe that’s why she is planning to break up with me,” For some reasons Li Juan felt amity towards this heartbroken customer who was planning to gift his girlfriend who is going to break up with him.

“Give her some time,” Li Juan suggested, “She must be confused right now, rather than forcing her to give her some time and let her make a decision…which is good for both of you,”

“Should I wait for her then?” He asked with a pair of bright eyes, “How long should I wait?”

“As long as you can,”

“What if she finds someone else in the meantime?” He perched his lips into a haughty smile,

“Don’t you believe in your girlfriend?” Li Juan let out a gentle chuckle, which felt like musings to Lee Tae Yang’s ears.

“She is too pretty when she smiles…I don’t want anyone to-”

“How about you get this one?” Li Juan picked up a hydrangea plant, “It represents understanding in relationships. I think your girlfriend might like it,”

“Yeah, sure…Can you get me one more?”

Li Juan smiled and picked up one more plant sapling,

Lee Tae Yang took the plants from her hands and smiled warmly,

“I will wait for her then…,”

“Do you want to gift wrap it and write down a note for your girlfriend?” Li Juan inquired him while walking back to the shop,

“Yes, can you write it for me? I don’t know how to write C country’s language,”

“Hmm,” Li Juan gave him a dubious glance,

He does look like a young master of a wealthy family from his clothes and style.

She took the pen and the notepad, ready to write,

“Dear Yangyang…please wait for me,” Lee Tae Yang said with a doting expression, “While I am trying to regain my memories and chasing down my dreams…make sure to support me…stay beside me…stay right next to me,”

Li Juan wrote down whatever he recited in beautiful handwriting,

“With love, Liang,”

“Liang?” Li Juan raised one of her eyebrows in doubt, “Your name is Liang?”

He nodded in agreement and repeated, “Dai Liang,”

“Dai Liang…” Li Juan was lost in thoughts for a moment,

“Dai Liang…who wears brightness? My Sun,” A cheerful voice flashed in her mind, she raised her eyes at the man who stood there smiling revealing his dimples.,
