Enchanting Martial Doctor - Chapter 4 Uncle Feng Dai
Inside the church the head nun takes Hyun Wo with Ying Yue on his shoulder into a room with a some comfortable seating and a small table. Hyun Wo places Ying Yue on a sofa while the head nun lock the door behind them.
“So, Jun Che… Are you sure you don’t want to live here? There are many benefits, we might become your new family, if not we might help you find your new family.”
The head nun asks Ying Yue after sitting down in the chair opposite to Ying Yue and Hyun Wo. Ying Yue just looks at her and start thinking about it.
‘Wait a minute. If I were to become an orphan in the church maybe it would be harder for my older brother to find me. Also, if i remember correctly this body’s original owner’s father definitely wouldn’t ignore me being gone. He would destroy the whole world in order to even get a trace of where I am. It wouldn’t surprise me if he called this body’s original owner’s uncle back. My uncle is someone who would gather information from anyone likely to have been in the forest. In other words he would first go and find the adventurers healing in this church and ask them. If I am able to catch a hold of him at that time and tell him what has happened he would surely help me!’
“Okay, I’ll give living here a chance.”
“Glad to hear you’ve decided to stay, we will take good care of you.”
The head nun walked to the door and unlocked.
“Now me and Sir. Ming has some important matters to discuss that isn’t that great for children to hear. While me and Sir. Ming talks why don’t you go to the front yard.”
“Sure ma’m.”
Ying Yue went out to the church’s front yard as she had been told to by the head nun and find the gate closed with guards in front of it.
‘No wonder she just let me go into the front yard like this, she had made sure to not let me escape beforehand. I wonder when she had time to give them the order? Oh well, uncle will be here soon. with his help I’ll get out of here. Let’s make out a plan of revenge of my brother, I’m not goinf to make it easy for him! Death would be way too easy! I need him to feel crushed and completely helpless.’
Meanwhile she was building up a plan Uncle Feng Dai was making his way towards the church. Fifteen minutes pass and Uncle Feng Dai arrives at the closed church gates. He notices what looks like a young boy with ragged clothes and shriveled hair. The young boy is sitting underneath a tree in the yard and is looking down at the ground so Uncle Feng Dai can’t really see his face but he feels like there is something familiar about him. ‘He couldn’t be…’
“Good day Sir. Jiang. I’ve heard that you were out on a journey how come you came back so early and visited us today?”
The guard ask Uncle Feng Dai and Feng Dai looks at him not noticing that the body of the young boy twitched at the name “Jiang”.
“I had to end my journey and come back because of a small emergency, I’m here to get info about said emergency from the adventurers that are resting in the church. Would you please let me in?”
“Of course, Sir. Jiang.”
The guards open the gate for Uncle Feng Dai and just as he takes a step into the church ground the young boy sitting underneath the tree jumps up and runs towards him.
“Uncle!!!!!”
The young boy shouts as he jumps up and hugs Uncle Feng Dai.
“It’s me, Ying Yue. I’ll tell you everything later. Right now all you need to know is that I’ve taken on the identity of a young boy called Jun Che who was abandoned by his parents and almost made into a slave. You met me on your journey before i was abandoned by my parents and we became close.”
The Ying Yue whispered in Uncle Feng Dai’s ear. Uncle Feng Dai was not stupid, he had seen Ying Yue grow up and knew immediately that it was her the moment she hugged him. He also knew that there was a reason for her actions so he decided to follow her plan. Uncle Feng Dai took a hold of Ying Yue and put her down on just as Hyun Wo and the head nun came out of the church into the front yard, seeing the scen.
“Well, if it isn’t little Yun Che? What are you doing here and what happened to your parents?”
Uncle Feng Dai asked looking at Ying Yue as the head nun, Hyun Wo and guards looked at them confused.
“They betrayed me and I was almost turned into a slave because of that. But I managed to escape!”
Ying Yue responed.
“I see… I felt that something was weird with them when I met you and them on the road.”
“Sir. Jiang knows little Jun Che?”
The head nun asks Uncle Feng Dai.
“We just happened to meet on my journey and we became real close. This kid is a clever guy.”
“That reminds me, I heard you were still supposed to be on said journey, how come you are back and visiting this church?”
“Well, I just happened to not be so far away from here and was urgently called back by the family head to investigate something. I am here to ask some adventurers about that.”
“Wait a minute could you possibly be Sir. Jiang Feng Dai?”
Hyun Wo suddenly interrupts.
“Yes, that is me. Do you have a problem with me?”
“No no, that is not it. I’ve just heard a lot about you and really admire you. In my Pleasant Dew Sect you are a legend, always on the move or protecting the Jiang family. A lot of my fellow sect disciplines see you as the ideal free man. Ah, I’m Ming Hyun Wo form Pleasant Dew Sect, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“I didn’t know I was that well known in the Pleasant Dew Sect. Anyway, I’m having second thoughts about looking for information here. If it’s okay I’ll be leaving. Oh and I will take Jun Che here with me. Don’t worry, I will take care of him.”
As Uncle Feng Dai begins to leave and Yin Yue follows after him the head nun quickly say:
“I would never think that you would not take care of him. Sir. Jiang, have a good day.”
Uncle Feng Dai only lifts his left hand in a quick wave as a response to the head nun and proceeds to leave with Ying Yue following after him.
