- Chapter 466: Preparations Before The Final Battle
Chaos looked into the interior of his Divine Realm, after reaching Rank 8 as a Great God incredibly rapidly, his Divine Realm had once more changed, becoming immensely big, but not only that, the enormous tree growing from the sea of chaotic darkness had grown even bigger, almost encompassing the entirety of the ceiling of his divine realm. It filled the world of his divine realm with rich cosmic energy, which continued to grow in quantity with each passing second inside his divine realm.
And because his divine realm time was faster than outside, it meant that his production of cosmic energy was also greatly increased. With more cosmic energy, he could do way more things and gain even more strength. As of now, Chaos had begun to pour a lot of this energy into his physical body, doing what was called “Cosmic Energy Refining” which enhanced his power and his body endurance.
He saw on his status as his stats slowly began to rise with each passing second, this even helped him at enhancing his Realm, and would make it even easier for him to break through Rank 8 into Rank 9, and perhaps all the way to Supreme God Realm, if possible.
However, he wasn’t just sitting there gaining more stats, there were hundreds of clones around him, they were made out of pure cosmic energy, created through the [Cosmic Body Double] Spell, which allowed him to create clones made out of pure cosmic energy, he told those clones to practice most of his Abilities to constantly gain proficiency and level them up, all while also practicing more Divine Cosmic Magic, so he can create new spells that could aid him in battle.
Thanks to this, Chaos potential was incommensurable at this point, and it would simply continue to grow bigger and bigger, as he showcased just how much of an amazing prodigy he really was. He began merging all elements of magic he possessed with cosmic magic, generating new spells that could aid him at defeating even the hardest of foes. Although with technicality alone, he wouldn’t be able to win, so he required raw power as well, and continued to gain more stats, as many as he could reap in this short amount of time he had.
As Chaos did many of these things, his mind seemed to be elsewhere, he was meditating, he found himself within the depths of his subconscious, thinking about his past, and everything he had been living until now, all the things he went through, and how each thing taught him something valuable.
Now, after all these adventures, he had finally reached his goal, the Supreme Deity of Brightness, the last obstacle before he could retrieve the souls of his parents at long last… But it was certainly not the last obstacle there was.
Even after her, there were also the others, the Supreme Deity of Blood, the Supreme Deity of Pride, the Supreme Deity of Minds, and the Supreme Deity of Spirits… from different faction but all of them came here for a similar purpose, and he knew that eventually and ultimately, he would have to find a way to defeat these powerfully frightening foes one way or the other.
He accumulated all the info he knew about them and then, within his Mindscape, using the advanced powers of the Elder Brain he acquired, he created special clones inside his mind embodying the power he knew about these deities, and began battling them one by one.
It was some sort of practice, a battle practice where he continuously polished his battle abilities and tactics by constantly battling dummies that imitated the power of his greatest foes. He had gathered a surprisingly big amount of their info thanks to the information network of the Mindflayers, who seemed to have many spies across the Galaxy and knew an awfully big amount of secrets and even the power of these powerful supreme entities. It was all thanks to the Eldritch Brain, the Supreme God of Minds who have accumulated this knowledge thinking that one day he might end up fighting these frightening monsters.
Every second in his divine realm was a whole day inside his mind, using this ability, he continuously practiced and fought against these clones imitating these supreme deities. Their power was incredible and incommensurable, something so powerful that they defied everything Chaos ever knew, but he continued practicing, dying constantly inside of his mind only to revive again and fight once more.
Over the days, he had died billions of times and continued fighting, learning their patterns, their powers, everything, analyzing every single detail he could about them, as it was very important for him to learn this info as much as possible, and memorize their powers.
He knew that they might even surprise him even after memorizing such powers, so he ran many simulations where he let the mind clones themselves create new skills and magic spells using their already existing powers, this way, he learned many unpredictable patterns as well…
However, within the infinity of possibilities there were, it was quite hard to tell, if even all of this training would amount to anything. This is why he continued improving everything within his powers, magic, skills, abilities, body strength, techniques, movements, reflexes, without stopping.
Without resting.
Chaos was desperate and filled with determination as well, he wasn’t going to let himself die before doing everything within his grasp, he continued practicing every little trick, scheme, cunningness, and any other trap or the abuse of the environment he could use, while even putting the powers of his allies in consideration. This practice was already done when he was practicing how to defeat the three dragons, and it ended rather quickly and swiftly because he had calculated the way they fought and more based in the knowledge he accumulated…
But even with all this preparation, would Chaos be able to truly win? It was a mystery, not even he could predict the future, but he had trust on his strength…
