Eritance - Chapter 0

! This glossary contains possible spoils for future chapters. If you haven’t read the latest chapter I advise you to do so before reading the glossary.

Orin – Orin is the main character. He grew up in the village of Hallen as a poor field worker at the bottom of the social caste. His only friend was a man named Ross, whom he viewed as an older brother or mentor. He has no family that he is aware of.

Ross – Ross was a large man that acted as a head of the field workers in the field that Orin worked at in Hallen. He died while protecting Orin and the others from a spine bear. Ross was a physically strong man, having the strength of three men or so.

Gregory Somers – This is the lord of Hallen. While not an official noble per se, he has acquired a vast amount of wealth and is treated as such. He is always scheming to increase his status and wealth, and cares little for the people that work for him.

Ciara Somers- This is the daughter of the lord. She is a slender girl of about the same age as Orin. She has long black hair and light brown eyes. She is fated to marry the emperor.

Simon – This is a guard that travelled with Orin to protect Ciara as she made her journey to the capital.

The orc chieftain – This chieftain has been hunting the relic in the name of the emperor. He is willing to kill anyone that stands in his way.

Hallen – This is the village that Orin is from. It is a somewhat small village compared to the other villages and cities throughout the empire. It is located near the dark forest. While it may not be large, the mines and fields that it prodcues are quite lucrative.
