“So who started the fight ?” The principal asked,

“Jack started first.” Dwayne eagerly replied.

“After some thinking,I decided that all of you are going to do community service for 4 hours in the next three days and if you miss it, you would end up in the detention for the whole week.” The Principal said, “Now get back to your classes your late.” The Principal added, “Shelly and Jack, stay here for a bit. I need a word with you both. And Zane, thank you for notifying one of staff before the fight escalated.”

During recess Dwayne and Zane met Shelly who was going to sit with her friends. “Hi Shelly, are you alright?” Dwayne asked. “Not really, I was sternly warned for unnecessarily stepping in in that fight and would have to sit in detention for one day. But that’s ok, I don’t really have anything going in the afternoon Dwayne.” “But I caused all of this.” Dwayne was upset that he hurt his crush. Shelly continued, “Thats ok. But Dwayne, please stand up for yourself. You truly sucked in that fight, you could had done something to free yourself at that point of time or not let the fight escalate.”Shelly walked on, with Zane patting Dwayne in the back trying to lighten his already terrible mood.

“Man what a terrible day!” Dwayne moaned at Zane as they walked back home sweating from head to toe in this hot weather. Dwayne was upset; Jack had been let off lightly once again, His crush was scolded because she intervened and had now made a fool of himself for being a weakling at school.

Back at his empty home he looked around and sees the clock striking at 3 pm. Dwayne thinks about what he could do for the next few hours since he has done his work back at school before he decided on taking a cold bath. And that she caused the tragedy at Lawson Bank by setting off a gas explosion!?!”Dwayne exclaimed. “Yes, I only managed to slip away via the sewers a-” Bryony was trying to explain when Dwayne tried to run to the door. “Where are you going? We don’t even know about the whereabouts of Kate and the other two slimes. So chill out.” Dwayne threw a tantrum before laying on the couch crying. “Look we got each other. I’ll help you but for now, we must lay low. Don’t tell anybody about my existence or both of us will die.”

“Ok…ok…” Dwayne sobbed as he tried to wipe off his tears. “It’s 5 o’clock now, let’s go for dinner.” “Sure. Just don’t try to do anything funny out there ya naughty ape.” Bryony said. “Ok Bryo-” Dwayne was about to step out of the door when Elson showed up.
