Eye - Chapter 19
In the silent night, he walked out of the black desert known as the land of death, and walked to the wall in front of the north gate and the east gate before the first guard of the north gate could not find him.
When he stood in front of the wall, he took out the water bag from the leather bag behind him, then pulled down the mask and slowly drank the only water left on him.
He smiled contentedly, having not drank water for at least two days, and put on his mask again after the water bag was put away.
He reached out and touched the wall, and it took him about five minutes to find a smoother wall.
Pulling out the short knife hidden under his sleeve, he cut a blood mark on his already scarred palm, and pressed his **** palm under the center of the smooth wall.
The blood printed on the wall seemed to come alive, crawling on the wall on its own, until it formed an eye mark before it stopped.
He took his palms away and casually bandaged the wound with the cloth he had prepared earlier.
The red mark on the wall disappeared, and then the entire wall sank to the ground without making any sound, revealing an entrance large enough for one person to pass through.
He passed through the outer wall of Tierra, and the entrance was then closed, returning to its original appearance without leaving any traces.
He came to a pile of weeds, observed the surrounding environment, and left the grass after confirming that no one was there.
Since it was late at night, there were hardly any pedestrians on the road, and only the guards in charge of the night were patrolling with torches.
He carefully avoided all the guards, then climbed onto the roof of a hotel, he opened the secret door on the roof, and climbed into a secret room.
Throwing the leather bag aside, he lay on the straw bed in the room, quite tired and quickly fell asleep.
The next day, when he woke up before dawn, he took the leather bag and left the room through the secret door through which he had entered.
He avoided pedestrians as much as possible, walked to the lake, washed his face, and filled his water bag.
Afterwards, he found a relatively remote open space, quickly dealt with the gerbil he caught in the Black Desert yesterday, and then called out a flame with his bare hands to roast the gerbil’s meat.
After a leisurely breakfast, he threw into the fire the hides and entrails that the gerbils could not eat, and then called the fire back.
The flames summoned by magic are some distance away from the ground, so there is no trace of scorch on the ground.
Since it was still early, he did nearly four hours of physical exercise, then picked some fruit for lunch and took a break.
After another three hours of physical exercise, and then an hour of rest, the sky darkened.
Avoiding the guards, he came to the wall between the east and south gates of the inner wall, and found a particularly rough wall.
He stretched out his index finger and pressed it **** the uneven wall, and then drew the eye mark on the wall when the index finger was cut and bleeding.
Just like yesterday, the entrance then appeared in front of him, and he walked in.
After passing through the inner wall, he found the secret door in the nearby land, and walked into the secret passage.
The passage is like a labyrinth, and if you go wrong, a magical and deadly trap will be activated.
After walking for about half an hour, he came to a wall, and after confirming that there was no other voice inside, he pushed open the secret door.
“You’re here.” The owner of that room was not surprised at all when he saw him.
“We haven’t seen each other for at least two years.” He bowed his head to the owner of the room, greeting him symbolically.
