- Chapter 30 Freshmen Genius Or Something Else
After countless fights, Xu Xinya was finally able to make Xiao Yi stop her question regarding Lu Mingyu. Next, they went up to collect their schedules.
The striking fact about Springfield University was that it offered a wide variety of courses. There wasn’t a single field it’s courses didn’t cover.
The courses Xu Xinya selected were in accordance to the career she wanted to build in the future. Her future goal was obviously to help her family regain the glory that it once enjoyed.
Xu Groups were specialized in software engineering. They had their expertise in all sorts of software from system software to application software.
In the future, Xu Xinya wanted to join the Xu groups. So, accordingly, she selected some programming language courses, program designs, computer system analysis, and Management Basis.
“Are you certain you want to go in the direction?” Xiao Yi asked worriedly. “I remember you once had shown interest in singing. And with the looks like you, you don’t need to work hard to top the entertainment market.” Contrary to Xu Xinya, Xiao Yi had picked up courses to polish her skills in that area.
Xu Xinya eyes hazed for a second. “Those were my thought back then when I was young. But that is not important anymore. I need to help my family. I need to gain back what they lost.” She smiled. “In any case, you don’t need to worry about me. I know what I am doing.”
Her heart was clear; her determination was solid.
When they were passing through the corridor, they observed a group of students giving them weird looks before they lowered their voice to talk in hushed whispers.
“Huh! So it is the rumored fake genius.”
“Let’s go, don’t look. We might get nauseated by the sigh of such a cheap person!”
“Haha! The way she is walking with her head high! As if, we don’t know a thing. Truly shameless!”
…
“Yin Yu I promise, this is how It had been!” Shen Changying had finally managed to placate Yin Yu. “Wang Yuefeng had come to my place so that we could discuss your birthday. We wanted to give you a surprise that was why we were trying to hide it.”
“Are you telling the truth?” Yin Yu still looked somewhat unconvinced.
“Obviously I am!” Shen Changying emphasized. “Would you trust rather trust a few words from someone like Xu Xinya over your friend for many years?” She appeared to be hurt.
Yin Yu thought Shen Changying words actually made sense. After all, she had a very bad impression of Xu Xinya. For her benefit, someone like Xu Xinya wouldn’t hesitate to lie. “Then… Ying Jie, you were right! That Xu Xinya is truly a bi**h! She wanted to sow discord between us. We must get back at her!”
Yin Yu’s eyes blazed in anger.
Shen Changyin observed her words bore effect. Inwardly she sighed in relief. This Yin Yu belonged to an influential family. Shen Changying couldn’t afford to get in bad terms with her. She had enjoyed a lot of privileges by being close to Yun Yi.
If Yin Yu believed that Shen Changying had seduced her boyfriend, she ould have sure made her life hell.
That bit*h, Shen Changying would get back at her!
Initially, she had been planning to go easy on her but after what she did… She won’t hold back.
Getting into the classroom, Shen Changying took out her phone and made a controversial post on the university forum through an anonymous account.
She had posted a screenshot of Xu Xinya’s result cards from back in school with an ambiguous title. “Freshmen Genius or Something Else.”
Soon, the post was flooded with all sorts of comments.
During her time in school, Xu Xinya has been playful, indulging in parties and drinking, never taking studying seriously. Naturally, her grades were not impressive.
Her grades were a stark contrast to her University’s entrance exams imposing result; that was bound to bring all sorts of accusations from the fellow students who shed tears and blood just to get into the university.
Cereal_Killer: “F**k! How could this be possible?!”
Smelly_Panties: “Well, well… No wonder she had such impressive results, breaking the record of the last five years. If not for cheating, how could that be possible? Looking at her poor grades, there is no other explanation for the situation.”
Hugs_for_drugs: “I support OP claim! I had been suspicious in the beginning but I checked the authenticity of the picture OP posted. It is legit. Our this year topper had indeed been a loser in her school days.”
Butt_Smasher: “You guys! Do you think Springfield University is just any average university? How many young masters from rich families the university hadn’t had before? How could someone like her easily get exam papers?”
Shen Changying anticipated the discussion would come to this. She laughed coldly and posted a rather provocative photo of Xu Xinya.
This was all that needed.
MomsSpaghetti: “F**k, who is this goddess?”
Butt_Smasher: “No way! I have seen her before. She is the genuine one who topped the entrance exam. OP posted the picture now. Could she be hinting at something?”
Smelly_Panties: “Now I see everything. With the looks like her, she can even seduce Buddha! Then what is a small professor to get the papers?”
Crap_thirst: “Holy Crap! All the time I had been idolizing her! OP you opened my eyes!”
After that, all sorts of insults ensued.
While Shen Changying read them in satisfaction.
‘You don’t have a strong family to back you up. I would like to see how you get out of this one. Haha…’
