“I’m not gonna do that, Noah. It’s so freakin’ high! I swear, I’ll gonna die if I do that.”

He keeps pursuing me to come with him, but I also keep refusing. Like damn, he knows that I’m afraid of high places but he choose to go here? And besides, he told me that it’s a date. What is this, then? A freakin’ scam!

“You’ll be okay once you started it. C’mon baby..”

“Don’t kid me around, Noah. You know that I’m afraid of heights but you want me to try that freakin’ zip line? Just go with yourself or I’ll just go home.” I tightened the grip on my seatbelt so he wouldn’t get me. God! He’s so annoying.

“That’s why I brought you here! I wanted you to conquer your fear–”

“Then, I don’t want to conquer it! I’ll stay like this forever, and I don’t need to do this freakin’ thing! It also looks dangerous,”

“It’s not baby.. There are some harness, can’t you see the guy from there? Look at his body, it was covered with some safety equipment–”

“I don’t care, Noah! Just go alone and I’ll stay here.” He keeps pestering me really, I’m not gonna let this slide next time.

I immediately took my bag on the backseat and get my freakin’ earbuds! Damn, I didn’t know that it was his purpose why he told me to pack some extra clothes!

“You cannot do this, baby.. We should enjoy this–”

“Do you think I’m going to enjoy this, huh?” I arched a brow. He pouted and played with his fingers like a freakin’ child! “You just ruined my excitement.”

I placed the earbuds on my both ears and was about to play some music but then, he suddenly spat my hand and took the phone and placed it on the chair together with the earbuds!

And before I could say anything, he immediately carried me on his goddamn hard rock biceps! Oh my god.

“Hey! What are you doing, Noah! Put me down!” I tried to free myself on him but he’s too strong to handle!

Shit. What is he gonna do to me?!

Nervousness wrapped around my entire system as he keeps walking away while carrying me with a single arm! Damn it, I’m aware that I’m not that light.

“You jerk, stop teasing me! I wanted to go home now–oh god!” I gasped as soon as we reached the huge tent near the high tower on this freakin’ forest. And I think it’s on the 7th floor building if I would estimate it! Oh my god! I wanna go home now, mommy..

“T-that’s…. high…” I almost lost my voice as my legs shakes from fear. I can’t imagine myself doing that freakin’ dangerous thing!

I wanted to cry because it’s so high, shit.

But I was startled when Noah came in front of me and held both of my shoulders, wearing his natural smirk. Oh my god, he won’t ask me doing that right? He’s not serious right?

When I heard him chuckled, I even feel more nervous! His playful grin was causing my anxiety to attack me again!

“Stay here, I’ll go, you should watch me.” My mouth parted to what he said. He’s really serious with that?

But I only realized that he’s already wearing a harness once he walked away from me. His back were really perfect, damn it. It really looks sexy that I can stare at it for a long time.

I bit my lower lip and focused my attention to his walking back. He’s already climbing the tower now and to be honest, It was also scary. It doesn’t have any supporting thick walls and it only had some metal posts!

Noah’s kind of adventurous but I didn’t know that he’s actually this fearless that he didn’t even fear risking his life, doing that dangerous thing. It’s so high that he might fell if he got mistaken! No. Stop thinking negative, Raine. He’s strong and brave.

“Whoa! That guy is handsome, look! Go, Mr. Hottie!” Some girls spotted him and called him like that.

I just pursed my lips. I can’t believed that there’re so sure that he’s really handsome, even though we can’t even see his face here! Their eyes were really that clear.

I watched how Noah talked to the tourist guide as they fixed those bunches of protection on his body. And while waiting, I immediately took out my phone and zoom the camera through his face. I feel like I’m one of these crazy girls beside me!

I giggled and fixed the camera. And while I’m fixing it, Noah suddenly waved at my direction which made the girls screamed! Seriously? Even here, Noah?

I just chuckled and waved at him too. “GO BABY! YOU’LL GET A KISS ONCE YOU GET THROUGH THAT FREAKIN’ THING!” I shouted and all the girls turned their heads on me.

Their faces looked so disappointed as they figured out that the guy they’re fan-girling was my boyfriend. And hell, I’m a proud girlfriend here!

“She’s the girlfriend guys… I’m so jealous!” The other girl even stomp on the feet in so much frustration.

“I thought he’s alone! I even waited for him!”

“Me too! Shit. Too sad, that hottie guy was taken..”

“And she’s lucky!” They looked at me again before they started to walk out.

Noah’s really popular to girls since before.. He has so many customers even though he’s always wasted, because they just wanted to see his good-looking face. Though, I find it as exaggerated before because I only thought of him as a pathetic bastard that was dumped for how many times… That’s not my style before though..

But I won’t deny that he’s really that attractive to many. He even got offered as a freakin’ model and a celebrity before but he just declined it! Imagine that huh? He refused those big offers and choose to live in a hell life before!

But, I’m still thankful that he choose that path where he could grow himself again and there.. He learned how to bring back his pieces together again. He’s such a wonderful person.

I watched how he slides through that thick cable all the way through the other tower. It wasn’t that fast as I imagined earlier! And with the way he screamed while holding his phone was such a great view! It seems like it was fun riding that dangerous thing!

When his eyes caught mine, he immediately winked at me and focused on his journey! Oh my god, why do I feel envious?!

“That was an exciting thing ma’am. You’ll get thrilled at first, but you’ll eventually felt relaxed when you started it.” Another guy tour guide spoke beside me. He looks friendly through.. He also wears a uniform just like those other tour guides on the surroundings. He’s also holding a thick rope that was a lot of lock around it.

“Sorry, but I’m not going to ride that thing..” But he just chuckled which made me arched a brow.

“Make sure to make him happy and enjoy this day without you ruining it, Ma’am..” I was startled with what he said. How did he knew about that?

But when I was about to ask him about it, he immediately turned his back on me and walk away. I just pouted and glanced at Noah who’s already looking at me with those piercing eyes of him.

I waved at him but he just pouted until he finally get into the last ride. Was he that sad, because I didn’t joined him?

“Hey…” I called but he suddenly grabbed my waist and kissed me deeply on my lips.

I was stunned because I didn’t saw it coming! Gosh. My face heated for that.

“That’s for talking to that guy,” His brows furrowed which made me laughed.

“Jealous?” I thought he’s sad because I didn’t joined him but… “My baby is jealous…”

I wrapped my arms around his waist and gave him a sweet smile. I don’t know but I kinda like this feeling. I enjoyed seeing him being jealous again. It feels great, huh..

I gave him a peck kiss. “I didn’t talk to him, he came talking to me and he said that I should join you..”

“But still, he talked to you.”

“Oh my god, Noah.” I laughed on his chest, I can feel his heartbeat too! He’s going to be a possessive now, huh!

“I wanted to punch that asshole’s face earlier, he should be thankful that I’m still riding that time or else–”

“Stop that baby…” I can’t take my laugh anymore, oh my god. He’s so cute. I grabbed his hand and pulled it.

He stopped. “Where are we going?”

“We’re going up there, and this time I’ll join you.” I gripped his hand tighter so he would feel that I’m his and he doesn’t have to be jealous.

But I’m not going to deny that my legs are shaking, bro! Of course, It’s my freakin first time and I’m going to the cliff of my life!

“You didn’t have to do this baby, If you’re just forcing yourself to do it you better stop..” I smirked. He’s worrying too much but he’s the one who’s very determined to join him earlier!

“I’m fine, Noah. I wanted this day to be memorable for us.. I can’t let you spend this time alone, I realized that only now sorry..” I bit my lower lip. That’s true though. If that guy didn’t told me, I won’t ever realized it. I owe it a lot to him.

“Really? You’ll do that for us?” His smiles went wide.

I nodded. “Let’s go.”

I didn’t know what will happen but I’m sure, Noah will be there for me. He’s going to protect me…
