Falling In Love With The Devil - 46 Kill Their Enemies
After dressing herself completely, Ying Yue called Xiao Ye using her earpiece and instructed, ” Free our base area from any outsiders from at least 5 kilometres and after you made sure that everything is in place you can call Jason to lance the operation. ”
” Send me the first squad that is ready in 10 minutes. ” Ying Yue smirked.
” Okay! ” Xiao Ye answered with a light tone before going to the task just given.
” Also, help me find someone reliable to escort my two guests to visit the building. ” Ying Yue remembered Liliane and Gen Lei.
” What?! You brought guests when we are about lance an operation?! ” Xiao Ye exclaimed disapprovingly.
” It’s not my fault that I am popular! ” Ying Yue shamelessly replied.
” You-! Whatever…! ” Xiao Ye sighed but didn’t say anything else and cut off the line.
Ying Yue laughed and pressed a few buttons on the earpiece specially designed for her. It had the function to broadcast her voice throughout the whole entire place. Using this invention, she spoke up with a neutral yet peppy voice, ” The Italians are back for another round of explosives but don’t worry, we have everything in control. Please lock down every entrance and go into the safe zones if you are not summoned to fight. Please take all the precautions you need to and for further explanations or directives please go see Mina. That is all. ”
Ying Yue made sure she planned out everything and didn’t miss out on any detail that would affect the mission.
Suddenly, a light bulb illuminated her mind and Ying Yue fished out her phone to send a text to Jun Feng.
[ Don’t come near the headquarters in the next 4 hours. ]
After the message was delivered, Ying Yue cracked her fists and stretched herself before walking to their last level, – 5, the level where all their prototypes and armaments were stocked, ready to be used or tested.
Ying Yue armed herself with all types of bombs and grenades despite the ones already in her bulletproof jacket. She flung two guns into her pocket designed to hold weaponry and slid four knives in her black pant’s hidden pockets. She wore a set of bullets around both of her wrist. Finally, she put up her hair and changed her boots that included a special function designed for missions like that.
The meek and cute appearance of the girl was now nowhere to be seen as she bared her fangs and became an elite ready to fight.
While waiting for the first squad to come, she stretched out and warmed up doing a few hits in the air, her blood pumping up and the adrenaline rushing in.
Not long after, the first squad entered the weaponry room and greeted Ying Yue, ” Boss Moon, we are under your commands! ”
The squad was composed of both men and women who all had a roughened face due to the difficulties they went through.
” Hmm. Arm yourself properly, don’t take too much but make sure to take enough for a dire situation. I am bringing you all to the field because I want to see how much you progressed individually but also how well your teamwork and communications are. ” Ying Yue explained, slowly examining the group.
” You have five minutes starting now. ”
As soon as she gave the signal, the group of about 30 people started moving and headed to the direction of the weapons they wanted to use. In the mafia, they all walked around with some equipment but were not necessarily allowed to touch the ones for bigger scale complications.
Each had an extremely good foundation of martial art and self-defence techniques contrary to what other people might think. They would then specialized in one direction or keep working on all aspects at the same time.
They all had respective works in the mafia but they were, before everything else, fighters.
“Let’s do a warm-up at the same time! Don’t let me touch you!” Ying Yue said, ” 3, 2, 1…0! ”
Her knees slightly bend forward and her body inclined a bit towards the front just like an experienced runner ready to do their race. In a blink of an eye, she appeared next to a few members and stuck a red sticker dot on them. They barely got the time to react before it was stuck to them and that Ying Yue continued to target others.
The others that were taken less by surprise succeeded in dodging Ying Yue a few times before finally getting a sticker.
The next ones were more prepared and dodged for a good amount of time before Ying Yue tricked their eyes, disappearing for a second before reappearing behind them and making them a victim of the red dot.
This went on for the whole five minutes while the group chose their weapons. Finally, the time came to an end and Ying Yue asked, ” So? How many of you got red dots? ”
Almost all of them raised their hands as they looked weirdly at each other, ” How did their boss accomplish that in five minutes? They were definitely inferior to her but wasn’t the gap a bit too big? Was she still human? ”
Seeing their confused face, Ying Yue giggled and told them what she was doing,” If I ever held a knife with poison on anything small that could endanger your life just by getting in contact with them, most of you would have already died or been in a critical situation. The red dot signified you’ve been touched. That’s why defence and dodging techniques should not be neglected. Speed is also another factor you shall work on. You guys are not bad but there is room for improvements. ”
” I hope you guys don’t leave your life on the battlefield so easily so train harder. ” Ying Yue encouraged them before leading them at the targeted spot by an underground tunnel.
Ying Yue showed them the surrounding area map including where the Italians were stationed using a heat sensor device to track them. All of them held their breath and quieten down, they were ready to fight even at the cost of being injured or losing their lives.
Their goal: kill the enemies.
A/N:
At this point, I can only beg for your forgiveness…I stop frequently and I am extremely sorry for this and these two weeks I didn’t even work on chapters because well…I am actually a high school student and helping my team translate mangas as they were coproductions and needed to be quickly done. As I state at the beginning of each chapter it’s only for fun but I am going to try harder to stay committed and post at least two chapters a week. Also…humm…I have another novel that I also need to work on…so we’ll see how it goes…
Thank you for all your support, comments and wonderful review even with my unreliableness.
