Fanboy’s Research Harem - Chapter 1

“3 days I suppose…..I need to gather up all my valuables before leaving. I can finally say goodbye to this world and have a much needed break.”

As I was thinking about such things I started preparing for my journey to another dimension as this World was at the brink of destruction.

The people of this planet decided to use energy directly from this planet’s core without taking any precautions and eventually used too much of it. And now they barely have 3 days.

I was so submerged into my research of other worlds that I neglected to pay attention to my own and it started dying about a few hundred years ago.

I have spent atleast a few thousands years researching the method to travel to other Universes safely.

First I started with pocket dimensions something I could create by myself. Then the ones that were similar to my own or the Multiverse of my universe.

After that I moved on to dimensions that were completely different from mine and discovered each of those dimensions had their own Multiverses. So I called the entirety of those Multiverses, The Omniverse.

However I discovered that no matter what universe I went to, I experienced a sort of glitching. It was because the other dimensions were literally kicking me out of their universe. Eventually I discovered a way around that.

After years of experimenting with science and magic I managed to turn myself into a Godlike existence who can adapt to any situation necessary. I became able to change my atomic structure according to the universe I am in.

With the abilities I currently have I should be able to save this world but…this world simply won’t be evolving anymore. It reached its technological and magical peak. They experimented with bionic enhancement, superpowered humans, monsters, various magical beings, created various technologies to help with daily lives and so much more. At this point saving it wouldn’t accomplish anything. They even explored thousands of other planets but none were habitable and there were no signs of any alien life.

When looking into other universes I found one that is atleast a few millions of years behind my own. I figured that I have spent enough time working and advancing so I would like to take a break for now and relax for a while.

I will need to figure some things out so I can live a decent life there for a while but I can think about that when I get there.

For now I will store everything I have in my pocket dimension. Pocket dimensions are mini worlds only the creator can access. The space inside is equivalent to the creators wish. Storing all my valuables will take a while since there are some equipments that are extremely valuable. Some can even kill me.

Two days passed and I safely stored everything in the pocket dimension. I am able to excess it by a simple spell I came up with. For now I will announce the end to the whole world so they can spend the time they have left with their families.

I broadcasted a recorded video of me explaining everything about why the world would end all over the world. It would play every hour along with a timer.

I finished up with everything I had to take care of and I had about 5 minutes left. I flew up in space looking at the planet from above. I started remembering everything that had happened to me throughout my entire life there. I spent most of it experimenting and researching but there were some great memories.

Then it started. First the ground started cracking everywhere at once and lava started coming out. I could see people who didn’t believe my message, running for their lives, screaming. Some just accepted their fate and their deaths were quick. This was happening all over the world. It didn’t take long before the core started exploding. Within the next few seconds it finally happened.

BOOOOM!!! The planet blew up from the center. The pieces scattered rocketing in various directions at the same time. A giant chunk flew my way so I simply let it phase through me.

Everything was over. I was finally done. Now I can finally go rest for a while before starting up my research again.

I put on a bracelet I created to synchronize with magic. Then I held out my hand and turned the bracelet on. A door shaped portal opened up in front of me. I breathed in as I took the first step towards my relaxation time.
