Fantastic Life Tycoon - Chapter 6
The holidays had arrived.
After working for a total of 5 weeks and with the 5k of Andrea, Brian had accumulated 15k without about 8k coming just from the bit working almost continuously.
With the good luck potion, Brian could turn the 15k 35 times bigger, so about half a mill. Brian decided to split the money with Brian betting 5k and the bot betting 10k after seeing Brian. The bot would absorb all the attention and Brian could slip away with the 180k, while the bot gets the bigger part.
Brian and Rob had booked two different flights with Rob arriving just before Brian in Vegas.
Brian was sitting on the window seat when he saw a very beautiful girl coming and sitting next to him.
I didn’t use the luck potion. Brian confirmed to be sure.
Brian just nodded to say hi.
She gestured back like a normal person.
Then, she took a phone and recorded a small video. Is she shooting a video? Brian looked and saw the SnapChat app. Oh, it’s more popular around this time.
There not any interaction except for the fact that Brian had photobombed her snapchat story while she was recording it.
It was a short flight.
After getting off, Brian got a cab and went off to Bellagio, it was time to make some money.
Rob was already waiting for him inside playing the slot machines.
When the clock hit the agreed upon time, Rob spotted Brian and came to his roulette table. There were people besides Brian on the same table.
Brian activated the good luck potion. He felt a cool feeling in his body. He didn’t waste time and put thechips on 1 and Rob followed him after some time.
“Are they super rich or something, who bets a single number. Say bbye to your chips, fools.” Brian heard people commentating.
At least they think I am super rich.
The ball was moving around and Brian felt like he could hear his heart beating.
The ball rolled into the 1 and finally came to an end. The special warm feeling of good luck potion also ended. That means we can’t rebet.
“Woah” said Rob with no emotions trying to gain attention.
“This bastard got lucky.” Everyone around the table was looking at Rob with some envy. No one hates free money.
Brian collected the winning chips and cashed out with the money. He wanted to visit a bank as soon as possible.
Rob would do the same after he came out.
When Brian came out with a bag of cash, he bumped into someone who was walking backwards.
Brian’s bag fell and he was pretty pissed. He quickly picked it up.
Brian wanted to screamWatch where you are goingbut stopped when he saw who it was.
“Hey, didn’t we just meet in the airplane.”
“Sorry, I am actually streaming. They don’t allow livestream inside so I am roaming around here. I was doing something for the twitch chat when I bumped into you.”
“Oh, What’s your twitch handle.?”
“AlexandraTV, I am also on YouTube. ”
Alexandra bit her lip after saying it.
“Sorry, occupational disease with all the selling out I do. I will have to go, my viewers on twitch are getting jealous that I am talking to a guy in real life. Bbye.”
Brian waved and didn’t think much about this incident.
It was a cute girl but weren’t there so many of them. Atleast, Brian didn’t remember any famous AlexandraTV in 2019, so she should be a casual streamer.
Brian quickly found the a bank branch and deposited the money. Rob had already done so and texted him.
With 500k, it was time for some real business.
Brian decided to go back to his parents before going back. It was only an hour on bus from Vegas. But, he needed to collect Rob. He didn’t want the bot to meet his parents yet.
Brian called Rob in, inside a public washroom in a nearby Mall. Rob had confirmed that there weren’t any cameras there.
With this, Brian took the bus to Spring county which less than an hour away.
Brian walked home from the bus stop.
Walking on the worn out footpath in his old neighborhood, there were different emotions running inside his head.
Soon, a familiar front yard came into Brian’s sight. It was still the same.
Brian walked up to the door. It was not locked from outside. Bella should be having school holidays.
Brian ringed the door bell and a familiar face peeped out through the window next to the door.
“Brieeeee, why didn’t you call?”
“I just wanted to surprise you guys.”
Bella opened the door and hugged her brother.
“I never thought I would say this but I miss you. Now, mom doesn’t have you to scold so she bothers me a lot more.”
Brian pulled her cheek and said, “Let me tell mom what you think.”
“By the way, I shifted to your room since no one was living there. You will have to settle in my old room.”
“Hah, you didn’t take time to take it.”
“How are mom and dad.”
“They are good. Mom definitely misses you a lot specially when you don’t pick your cellphone.”
“You know I have labs where phones aren’t allowed right.”
“Explain that to mom.”
“I will. Let me freshen up and change, then we will continue.”
“You sure travelled light. Only this small briefcase. Why does it look like it will be full of money.”
Brian laughed.
“Sorry to disappoint you but it’s empty.”
“Sad. Mom doesn’t let me work after school. Even I want some pocket money for myself. Mom has been stricter than ever since you went away.”
“Just wait a couple of months and I will buy you whatever you want.”
“Yeah, brag more. There’s no charges on bragging.”
“Not believing your brother. Don’t come to me at that time.” Brian teased.
“Huh, your money is my money anyway. I will just take it, who will come to you.”
What kind of witchlogic is this?
———-
“Brie, how’s college life. Is it really like the movies with parties and all.”
“Only if you are interested in mindless booze and partying.”
“I don’t know, I atleast want to have an option.” Said Bella like a little adult.
She was in 10th grade with about 2 years before she joined any college. In last life, she had joined a biology major on the east coast and absolutely hated her experience. Brian thought with money would she even need to go to college.
“Let’s go and buy some meat, I will cook for mom and dad.”
“You learned to cook so quickly.”
“Ain’t I smart.”
Bella had an expression like she wasn’t impressed with my taunts.
“Let’s just go.”
Brian went to the nearest convenience store and brought in the raw meat to cook.
It was time to make Bella believe that he could cook.
