Farming Inside The Dungeon - Chapter 62

The chase stopped when the man in Black arrived at a desolate building in the western part of Jakarta.

It was part of a big Indonesian project before, but the construction stopped, and the building was left unattended because of the corruption in funds.

” Who are you?” Seeing the man in black stop running, Ray has a frown on his face.

He didn’t know why, but the man in front of him seemed pretty familiar.

Still, the man in Black has no intention to answer Ray’s question. He assumed a battle stance and quickly rushed at Ray.

BRAKK!!!!

Fists and knees clashed in the abandoned building.

The man in Black used his fist to attack Ray, but Ray was no soft persimmon.

He raised his knee to block the fist of the man in Black and immediately raised his fist to launch a counterattack.

*Swoosh* *Swoosh*

Two fists swinging in the air as the man in Black easily dodged Ray’s combo.

The two’s distance was very close now. The man in black reached out to Ray’s neck with his hand, but Ray was able to lean back in the nick of time and evaded the attack.

‘….!!’

The eyes of the man in Black showed a hint of shock as Ray was able to dodge.

‘He dodged?!’

This guy, he really hid so well, didn’t he….?

A smile appeared behind the mask of the man in Black. And even though many speculations appeared on his mind, his fist didn’t stop as he continued to rain down his attacks.

Too bad, not one of them could connect to his target; Ray, who used danger sense and hawkeye to the max, always managed to dodge by a hair’s breadth or repelled the incoming hits away by slightly redirecting the force of the attack.

‘Nice, show more of your power!!!’

The smile grew wider as the battle continued. If Ray could see the expression hidden in the mask, he would surely notice that there was a conspiracy behind this.

The man in black’s combat experience was very high. With every punch, he displayed his power and his brilliantly flashy attacks. Still, none of this seemed to be able to faze Ray.

Ray managed to dodge everything by the smallest margins imaginable, and even the president who was watching this from afar expressed his genuine admiration.

Soon, a small change appeared in the battle.

As time passed and Ray was able to get used to the Man in Black’s attack, he counterattacked with his feet, and the two separated for a bit.

” You, I know who you are!” Ray said confidently to the man in Black. He seems to find a clue after taking a good look at the full black costume and his motive to attack him.

Looking at Ray’s confident face, the man in black knew that his identity had already been exposed. Still, the last hand-to-hand combat was enough to measure ray’s power, and he has no reason to drag this any longer.

The man in Black was ready to reveal the face behind it and explain things to Ray when Ray continued his words.

” You are the guy who has kidnapped Ellen and Elin before, right? You come here to take revenge as you know your plan has failed.”

The president and his assistant looked at each other and shook their head helplessly. Still, they were pretty glad that Ray’s strength was above their expectation.

” Coop!” {Boss is stupid!}

” Well, he is not stupid guys. He just has some low IQ.”

” Bah, what are you guys talking about? If Papa said so, then it is the truth. Bintang agrees with Papa’s deduction.”

The monsters looked at Bintang with a weird expression and quickly distanced themselves. They didn’t know why, but they felt that Bintang was a bit different with things related to Ray.

Back to Ray and the Man in Black, Ray’s deduction before had just made the man in black felt like he had a headache.

He was indeed attacked Ray and tried to check Ray’s strength. But didn’t Ray see that the attack has no killing intent at all? In fact, even if Ray didn’t dodge the attack, he wouldn’t be seriously harmed and might only stay in bed for a few days.

Edward took the mask covering his face and revealed the pretty handsome face behind.

” Yeah, you are right, Ray. I am here to check your strength, and it seems you really passed with flying color.” Edward smiled as he remembered how Ray could even him for a bit in the previous combat.

Normally, people would feel jealous of one of their acquaintances if they suddenly got so strong. But, there was no sense of jealousy in Edward. He knew how hard Ray had worked before this, and he knew that this surge of power would eventually come.

In fact, Edward was happy for Ray. He had long regarded Ray as another protagonist other than himself, and Ray getting stronger is also what he wished for.

” Hehe, thank you. If you praised me so much, I would be shy.” Ray said with an expression that even made the monsters in the Dungeon want to punch their Boss.

However, Ray’s face immediately turned serious as he noticed something was wrong here.

” Sure. It is a place where almost all Indonesians should know.. The special Dungeon: Lawang Sewu.”
