Hey , look there Jacob and Leo . What’s that spark is coming from ?

Leo – ” From Silas’s bag , Victor . ”

Victor – ” I can also see that it’s coming out of from Silas’s bag , but from where this spark is originating . ”

Jacob – ” Please stop talking about the spark . Callie is gone . ”

[ Jacob starts to cry ]

Victor – ” Leo , kindly pass on Silas’s bag so that I can see the origin of the spark . ”

Leo – ” You shouldn’t be doing this it’s Silas’s private thing . We should respect his privacy . ”

Victor – ” Oh ! come on Leo , don’t hesitate he is our friend . We will just see it and then will keep the bag to its original place . ”

Leo – ” Okay , but be careful . ”

Victor – ” Hmm , I will practice caution . Don’t worry . ”

On opening the bag , all three of us was shocked and were looking at each other .

Leo – ” What’s this , Victor . ”

Victor – ” I also don’t know anything about it . Let me first take it out from the bag . ”

It was massy and was wrapped in a white silk cloth .

Leo – ” Remove the cloth fast , Victor . Why are you creating suspense like we get to see in movies . ”

Victor – ” Let us see what’s behind the cloth .”

[ Victor removes the cloth ]

Leo – ” What the …. , Victor you called it a spark . It’s like a mini Sun , I can’t see anything . ”

Jacob – ” I can’t see anything either , Victor it’s throwing heat . ”

Victor – ” Yes , but what is this thing doing in Silas’s bag ? ”

Leo – ” Ask him when he returns . ”

[ Suddenly the shine vanishes in the air with a sharp voice ]

Leo – ” If I am not wrong Victor , it’s a weapon . ”

Jacob – ” It’s an axe , Leo . ”

Victor – ” It’s not an axe Jacob . It’s a hatchet . ”

Leo – ” Yes Victor is right , but this hatchet looks different or should I say cool . ”

Jacob – ” Say whatever you want , Leo . Who is stopping you ? ”

It was not an ordinary hatchet . It was completely made up of black metal and it’s bit was so sharp that it could strike off atleast three huge trees with just an easy stroke , the toe and heel of the bit had a completely different build up . The cheek of the hatchet of made of pure and fine black metal which seems to have been heated upon charcoal fire , it was so clear and one could see his face on it . The eye of the hatchet had a pointed peak . The body of the handle of the hatchet seemed to be made up from the finest metal on this planet and finally the hatchet’s knob had a white crystal which was the origin of the spark . The hatchet was a masterpiece and was not having a single flaw in any respect . It was just perfect and didn’t need any phrases for its description .

Leo – ” Victor where are you lost ? ”

Victor – ” Just got captivated by the beauty of the hatchet . ”

Jacob – ” Wait a second , what is this deadly weapon doing in Silas’s bag .”

Leo – Let Silas return then we will find out the answer . ”

Jacob – ” What the … , I have something to say . ”

Leo – ” Yes , sure but please don’t dare to cry in the name of Callie . It’s both a warning and a request . ”

Jacob – ” Yes , yes I will keep this thing in my mind . Today I saw a strange mark on Silas’s palm which was bleeding . ”

Victor – ” Yes , we both noticed that when we were standing outside the class in punishment . ”

Jacob – ” Yes , but before Silas wrapped his bleeding palm with his handkerchief I saw a weird mark on his palm . ”

Leo – ” Why are you taking pause in between , Jacob complete your sentence fast . We don’t have much time complete your sentence fast else the classroom will be filled again with students . ”

Victor – ” Leo will you please stop interrupting in between . Jacob go ahead and complete your sentence . ”

Leo – Oh ! sorry for the inconvenience caused by me , Jacob . Now I will remain silent . Jacob you may proceed . ”

Jacob – ” Thank you Leo for your cooperation . Where was I ? Yes I remember the mark on Silas’s bleeding palm shares resemblance with this crystal . ”

Victor – ” You are trying to say that Silas’s palm got injured by this crystal . ”

Jacob – ” Yes , you got it . ”

Leo – ” Permission to speak . ”

Jacob – ” Granted ”

Leo – ” There is a carving on the handle of the hatchet . ”

Victor – ” You are right , Leo but it’s written in some unknown language . ”

Jacob – ” Let me see it . ”

Leo – ” Go ahead , professor . ”

Jacob – ” Leo , get me a paper and a pen . ”

Leo – ” For what ? would you like to tell us . ”

Jacob – ” To copy the craving on the handle of the hatchet , so that we can translate it afterwards as we have to keep this hatchet to its original place . ”

Victor – ” Pretty clever move , Jacob . ”

Jacob – ” Thanks ”

Leo – ” Good Jacob , you are learning in my company . ”

Jacob – ” Sure master Leo. It’s all because of your able guidance .”

[ All of them laughs ]

Jacob – ” Now let me copy the carving . ”

Victor – ” Yes , sure . ”

Leo – ” Jacob be careful in copying the text else our investigation will go in the wrong way . ”

Jacob – ” Yes I am practicing caution , have faith in me . ”

Victor – ” Leo you go and stand near the door and warn us when anyone comes especially , Silas . ”

Leo – ” Roger that , Sir . Leo out for the action . ”

[ Leo leaves to stand near the door and keeps an eye on the corridor which leads to our classroom ]

Victor – ” Jacob be a little quick it’s getting late . ”

Jacob – ” Almost done , Victor .”

Victor – ” Leo , everything okay out there . ”

Leo – ” All clear , General . ”

Jacob – ” Done ”

Victor ( in relief ) – Hassh , now let us wrap this hatchet with the silk cloth and keep it in rest inside Silas’s bag . ”

Jacob – ” Yes , you do this thing let me keep this paper safely in my bag . ”

Leo – ” Our mission got accomplished should I come back or remain standing here and keep an eye on the corridor . ”

Victor – ” You can come back , Leo our work is finished . ”

Leo – ” Good , it finished early as my legs were complaining . ”

Jacob – ” Why were they complaining ? ”

Leo – ” You don’t know . Let me explain it to you . I was standing outside in punishment and then without giving any comfort to my legs I was sent to stand near the door to watch for people and warn you . My legs are trembling with pain and that is why they were complaining to me . ”

Jacob – ” Oh ! now I understand it . ”

Leo – ” Good , now let be sit somewhere else my legs will collapse . ”

Victor – ” Come sit here , next to me . ”

Suddenly I loud noise mixed with anger was heard by the three of us

” What are you three doing with my bag ? How dare you touched it . Wait let me see it carefully . You have opened it . ”
