Feed You Sweets - Chapter 11
The time before the holiday always passes quickly and slowly.
The last class on Friday was the class meeting. The students had already lost their minds. When the school bell rang, there were cheers from other classes in the corridors of the classroom.
A few good students in the class also cheered. Ke Wenzhen took the textbook and knocked on the desk, pointed at the shouting students, and said, “Han Junsong, did I say school is over?”
Han Junsong greasy tongue, smiled and said: “Then the school bell says school is over.”
There was a rather forbearing laugh in the class.
Ke Wenzhen had a headache, and pointed to the date just written on the blackboard at the class meeting.
“October 14th, the monthly exam in the second week after school starts. Did you learn well? Why is there no sense of urgency?”
When Ke Wenzhen emphasized this point, the joy of class vacation was instantly pressured by the exam mountain. Looking at the date, Wei Ruxia felt a little bit stressed. She hasn’t finished reading the textbooks for the first year of high school, and she barely keeps up with her. When the time comes, her results will be terrible.
She was thinking about studying in her heart, and glanced at Luo Tao, who was watching the cartoon next to her. Ke Wenzhen’s words didn’t seem to have any effect on him. He turned a page of cartoons and looked calmly waiting for Ke Wenzhen to explain everything.
The students before the holiday seemed like fireworks to bloom, and it exploded in the sky at one point. Ke Wenzhen finally murmured after he remembered to do his homework, he said after school.
As soon as I said “School”, the classroom boiled instantly. Everyone hurriedly cleaned up the desks, and some of them were already packed, carrying their schoolbags and ran away.
During the seven days of the National Day holiday, teachers of each subject assigned a lot of homework, and each subject teacher had at least one set of papers per day, and no additional work was added. Wei Ruxia took the papers and sorted out the textbooks. The books were packed full. And Luo Tang watched her tidy up, put the comic book in her hand into her school bag, and didn’t take any textbooks or test papers.
This is indeed in line with Luo Tang’s style. Not doing homework is a trivial matter compared to what he usually does.
And even if he doesn’t do his homework, he can still get good grades in the exam. Wei Ruxia felt deeply about this, and every question she asked him, there was nothing he couldn’t solve.
When the two of them were ready to go home, Hu Yinyin came over with his schoolbags and stopped Wei Ruxia.
“Xiaxia, remember to come to my drink rehearsal on the pedestrian street tomorrow afternoon.”
Wuyin is a dessert milk tea shop that provides small private rooms that can accommodate five or six people.
Zhou Tian is Manzhan, and Hu Yinyin agreed with his family to stay in the hotel on Saturday. After Sunday, her parents went directly to Manzhan to pick her up.
It was Wei Ruxia’s first performance. She asked Hu Yinyin: “Don’t you rehearse in the morning?”
Hu Yinyin let out a “huh” and didn’t answer, Han Junsong suddenly came from behind: “She will be with her boyfriend in the hotel in the morning~”
Any girl who hears this kind of joke will explode, Hu Yinyin slapped it, Han Junsong dodged dexterously, and said to Luo Yuan: “Brother Luo, go away~ Call me anytime if you have something.”
Then, trot out of the classroom.
Hu Yinyin was sulky and round and pink by Han Jun. After she scolded Han Junsong, she took Wei Ruxia’s arm and said embarrassedly: “I have an appointment with Xu Xian for the morning, but I go shopping with me, not at the hotel. “
Wei Ruxia naturally didn’t take Han Junsong’s words seriously. She smiled and said, “Okay, have fun.”
After parting with Hu Yinyin, Wei Ruxia and Luo Tang walked out of the classroom. They walked side by side. The students gathered in twos and threes in the corridor to discuss where to go during the National Day Golden Week. Their eyes seemed to fall. Come on them.
Because of Luo Tang, Wei Ruxia was also known by most people in the school. Almost all schoolmates knew that Wei Ruxia and Luo Tao were neighbors. Except for going to school together, Wei Ruxia was not angry with Luo Tao’s nickname “Sugar Sugar”, which shows Luo Tao’s connivance to her.
As for the relationship between the two, they don’t look like a couple, they should be very good friends. Anyway, the students of No. 1 Middle School are very secretive about Wei Ruxia and dare not provoke him.
Wei Ruxia didn’t care about the gazes of the surrounding students. She walked beside Luo Tao and asked, “Do you have any arrangements for the National Day?”
Regarding the holiday, the two have never discussed it. There are so many National Day holidays, Luo Yuan should also go out to play, right?
“There is no arrangement.” Luo Tang said.
Hearing his answer, Wei Ruxia gave a suggestion, saying: “Then you can come to our show on Sundays. At the Minghong Activity Center, take the No. 3 subway directly.”
While talking, the two left the teaching building. Luo Tao stepped on the stairs and said as he walked: “Do you want me to go?”
“Yeah.” Wei Ruxia nodded, “I am performing for the first time, and I want to find a friend to hold the stage.”
Walking on the road to the campus, Luo Tang stood on Wei Ruxia’s left side. She was in the shade of the trees, her face was mottled, and her eyes were crushed by sunlight.
Luo Tang stopped to look at her, her eyes darkened, and said, “Then don’t call me indiscriminately.”
Wei Ruxia turned her head to meet his eyes, and the corners of her lips were already raised.
“Sugar?”
“Don’t go.” Luo Tang refused, got up and left.
Wei Ruxia laughed and followed.
When Wei Ruxia came home, Aunt Li, who was cooking at home, was carrying a bag and was about to leave. Seeing Wei Ruxia coming back, Aunt Li said to her: “Mr. is in the study all day today, and I did not eat lunch. I just made dinner. Go and ask him to eat.”
Aunt Li was hired by Li Suhe to take care of Wei Zishan and his daughter for three meals a day. According to Li Suhe’s request, she cooks two kinds of dishes every day. Wei Zi has a good mouth and needs to control his body. He usually doesn’t eat much. But when she came this afternoon, she found that Wei Zishan didn’t move the food she cooked at noon.
Regarding the relationship between Wei Zishan and his daughter, Aunt Li can also tell some clues after cooking them for so long. But Wei Zishan has a bad temper, so she didn’t dare to bother rashly. She was just a cook and didn’t want to be angry with her employer. So this matter was handed over to Wei Ruxia.
After seeing Wei Ruxia responding, Aunt Li finished the task and left after saying goodbye to her.
Once again, she was the only one left in the huge room. Wei Ruxia looked up at the study on the second floor. She first returned to the bedroom with her heavy schoolbag on her back, then took out her mobile phone and called Li Suhe.
Li Suhe quickly picked up the phone, and a kind voice came through the phone line. Wei Ruxia smiled and called grandma.
“What time are you busy on Sunday? Have you packed your luggage? I’ll go directly to your house to pick you up…cough cough…” Li Suhe’s voice was a little dumb, and after speaking, he coughed twice.
Wei Ruxia heard the cough and asked, “Are you feeling well? Do you want to see a doctor?”
“It’s okay, cough cough, old trouble.” Li Suhe coughed again, his voice a little hoarse. As if she didn’t want to worry about her, the coughing in the back was very tolerant.
Wei Ruxia sat at the desk, put the textbooks away, and said, “Don’t come to pick me up on Sundays. I will take the bus by myself.”
The outer suburbs where grandma lives are several hours away from Ancheng. She is not feeling well. Wei Ruxia doesn’t want her to drive over. It is too tired.
“It’s okay.” Listening to her granddaughter caring about herself so much, Li Suhe’s heart is as sweet as Mi. She hasn’t seen Wei Ruxia for more than three weeks, and she misses her especially, “If you don’t worry about driving, I don’t worry about it. Come here by your own bus.”
This is true, the love in family relationships is mutual.
Wei Ruxia gave a hum, raised her eyes to look at the time, and her grandma babbled another sentence over there, probably because the outer suburbs are hotter than the city, so she should bring more clothes or something. After she explained, Wei Ruxia said she knew.
“Aunt Li said that my dad didn’t eat at noon.” Wei Ruxia said this after her grandma finished.
On the other end of the phone, grandma was silent for a long time, and after a while, she said in a dumb voice.
“Baby, thank you, thank you for helping me take care of your dad.”
Asking grandma to say thanks to her, Wei Ruxia still can’t stand it, she has more thanks to her.
After hanging up the phone, Wei Ruxia took out the test papers and started doing homework. After a while, there was a door opening in the study on the second floor. Li Suhe called Wei Zishan, and he went downstairs to eat.
When the footsteps disappeared on the first floor, Wei Ruxia withdrew her gaze, sent a text message to her grandma, and continued to work on the question.
Wei Ruxia thought that his plan for the next few days was to go to rehearsal on Saturday afternoon, to perform at the comic show on Sunday, and to go to grandma’s house for vacation after the performance…
However, the plan can never keep up with changes.
After Wei Ruxia finished half of the physics papers, she heard Wei Zishan’s voice going upstairs after eating. She collected the papers and prepared to go downstairs to eat. Before entering the restaurant, there was a knock on the door.
Turned around to open the door, the door opened and Luo Tao was standing outside.
After returning home, Luo Tao seldom came to her unless she met her outside. Wei Ruxia looked at him and asked, “What’s the matter?”
Luo Tao was fine. He handed Wei Ruxia his mobile phone. Wei Ruxia took it and glanced at the caller ID on it. It was Han Junsong.
“Hey.” What did Han Junsong ask for?
“Hey, long legs, come to Yujiang First City, something happened to Rourou.”
