Female Martial Empress - Chapter 4
Wang Xue stayed in his room for a couple of days, after the conversation with his mom he began to devise a plan. Since this body just turned 5, he could start training physically and mentally. But at the same time, he couldn’t overdose on them as if he was overdoing the physical exercise then we would welcome the first existence and recording of the female Hulk/Macho Man; Similarly, if he overdo the mental exercise then even God can’t help him not become the dumbest person in the world and that’s bad… very bad considering how the fact that this body he’s in is going to be a peerless beauty when it matures.
He decided to do physical exercise an hour every day in the sunlight and an hour of mental exercise in the moonlight. This schedule was brought on a whim due to his insomnia lately related to the constant “fantasies” he saw when asleep. If I do mental exercises during the night an hour before I sleep, then wouldn’t that mean I’ll sleep better and sooner? Such a good idea… only to be existent due to sleep.
—– A month later,
There was a rumor spreading in the Bai family Manor, it was said that if you were to appear early in the morning at a specific time, in the courtyard you would see a young girl exercising. Naturally, this was debunked as… A girl? EXERCISING? That’s almost believable as someone ascending a realm. Obviously, the clan was a misogynistic group, well the majority are, so when the rumor was put to the test? Their jaw dropped as they opened their mouth so wide, you can fit an adult head in there, okay let’s stop with the exaggeration. You could basically fit an egg in there. The person in the rumor was the Ice Princess, Bai Xia aka Wang Xue.
Like any sane person, they would scoff at this. Women Rights are a thing you misogynistic b*stards. Women are equal to men. Such misogynistic, much anger. However can the word sane relate even a small connection to Wang Xue? We are talking about Wang Xue, who in the Wang Clan was brainwashed and raised as a misogynist in his first life. So his worldview was shattered of course, but he continued like the stubborn fool he is.
—–Another month later,
It was time for Wang Xue I mean Bai Xia to shine in front of the spotlight known as the Annual Age Ceremony. Like any other participants, he was nervous as his future depended on the martial spirit within him/her. If I don’t get a good martial spirit then everything I’ve down now will change and then I will be forced into marriage and then I will be forced to carry babies and then *the following 659 words were exempted*. But, if I were to get a good martial spirit then everything will be okay and then I won’t be sold off in a political marriage like a pawn and then I can cultivate faster and quicker then meet Ying’er and then we can get married and then*the following 368 words were omitted*. Just the mere thought of him and her married, made him leak a bit of saliva out the corner of her mouth. Suddenly, the door was opened.
“Xia’er are you ready for this?” A voice said it was ‘her’ old man, Bai Yushang. He leaned against the doorframe, one hand stroking his beard the other on his chin. He looked at Bai Xia, examining her for any other emotions then the deep calmness within her. It was quite terrifying that a 5-years-old child can be emotionless like that. As that thought came in, many others entered. Did I neglect her too much? Is this why she’s being called the Ice Princess? Why is she like this? Wang Xue slightly nodded his head but in Bai Yushang’s perspective, it was more of an arrogant and confident nod as if it’s natural. He shook away these thoughts and then brought her to the grand hall.
Wang Xue looked around as if in excitement and curiousness, however inside he was in contempt. This hall wouldn’t even be used as the main hall back there, this was more something as a dog house. They were the last one to arrive, as the others decided to come earlier then expected. After this, sounded a long gong as a voice echoed
“Miss Zhu of Orchid Peak from the Starry Sky Sect has come to assess the martial spirits of the young ones” At this moment, a hooded person appeared from thin air. To others, it was too shocking as they dreamt of the day that they could do that and fly through the air and kill all that opposes them. But to Wang Xue? It was a simple parlor trick that anyone can do, it had no worth over him. As the echo finished ringing, the person removed the hood to reveal jet-black long silky hair, with a pair of mature brown eyes, a small nose and a supple pair of lips combined with the curvaceous body of theirs. Everybody except for Wang Xue was shocked as if a fairy descended from the heavens to here. He could only sigh and fake speechlessness at the person known as Miss Zhu in front of him.
“Okay, adults bring your children forward one by one and place their hands onto this crystal ball. We’ll start with earliest to last” said Miss Zhu as she whipped out a crystal ball and placed it on a stand. When everyone saw this they were shocked as the only way you could do that is if you have a spatial ring and even the lowest of the lowest spatial ring is bestowed onto those with high positions in a sect. Wang Xue clicked his tongue as he thought. Hey isn’t that a low-grade spatial ring? Hah, atleast it belongs in its place in this trashy realm.
A few minutes later, it was his aka Bai Xia’s turn. She looked around at the faces of the other 5-years-old, some were giddy with excitement due to their high ranking. Some gloomy with their low ranking. In the end, she quietly murmured
“Such low-grade Martial Spirits. Watch as Big Brother I mean Big Sister here show her might.” She thought to herself. Am I a Big Brother then or Am I a Big Sister? Or am I both? While she thought about it, she walked up the stairs to the platform where the crystal ball was standing on a stand just as tall as her. “Here goes nothing” She murmured as she put her left hand on the crystal ball. It shone dazzlingly like a bonfire in the dark night.
