Female Martial Empress - hapter 12
Bai Li had some nightmares last night. He dreamt that he admitted a brother and that brother was a girl…to worsen it, she was the finest beauty he’d ever witness and on top of all that she was an inner sect disciple.
“Huh? It was just a dream right?” He woke up scared at that and opened his eyes only to shut them again. “Goddamn, its bright as f*ck!” He muttered covering the bright lights before realizing that the place around him was different than his usual one.
He used to live in a simple wooden hut that was built by himself to experience the natural scenery that nature bestows upon the forest but now he was in a cave. The cave was decorated lavishly with a Spirit Fountain that was flowing Origin Water which helped cultivation, a painting that was a One-Star Artifact which soothed the mind and a pile of letters in the corner.
“That’s strange, it smells weird here…” He said to himself smelling jasmine before realizing that he was sleeping on a bed but it was… a girl’s bed. “WHAT THE F*CK!?” He cried out leaping off the bed but he was forever tainted with the scent of jasmine and what he didn’t notice was Wang Xue who was by the Spirit Fountain cultivating. “IM GOING TO GET DONE! GOD! ANYONE IN THE HEAVENS! TELL MY PARENTS I LOVE THEM! BROTHER I’M SO-”
Wang Xue interrupted the last words with a chop to the head, his signature move. He then looked at the pitiful Bai Li who was traumatized for sleeping in a girl’s bed. “I’m going to be called a pervert my life’s going to vanish my reputation is going to go to smithereens I’m going to live with a smirch on my li-”
“What reputation! Do you even have reputation? That’s a nice joke!” Wang Xue stated while crossing his hands together behind his back in mock disappointment like a master teaching their disciple. He then ignored the ant on the floor before sighing exasperatedly at the failure of his attempt to break through to the next layer.
Why did I get reincarnated? Why am I still here Heavens? Just to suffer? Every day and every night I can’t bear to cope with the sense of loss and grief for my companions. My existence is a plague on them… It’s tormenting me and them because I lived and they died? Haha… the Heavens are sure unjust.
–Elsewhere–
There was a man hurrying through for dear life towards two giant and ancient doors, he was clad in red imperial armor with his spear still within his grasp. He opened the door hastily before panting for breath. There were two men inside the room having a chat, one was a man in his 40s who still retained the best of his youth while there was another man who seemed of twice the age than the previous with his white beard flowing like the river.
They had the same features and had shared unique traits; they were currently in a serious conversation before the guard rudely interrupted.
“Patriarch! Grand Elder! She’s done it again! She tried to kill herself again!” He said spluttering every word heavily while suddenly started to tremble as he felt the pressure transform into a physical state pushing against his skins and pores. The two men were already angry at their conversation being interrupted while it was then ranked up from Platinum to Challenger. The older man was dumbfounded at first but then sighed bitterly awakening the guard from his stupor before sending him back.
“Go and receive a reward from Level 4 and you’ll be promoted to Veteran Guard,” the guard was ecstatic and quickly left while the old man asked the younger one.
“WHAT’S THE MEANING OF THIS YUN FEI!” He shouted coldly at the ‘junior’ who started to lower his head.
“It’s beca-” He tried to justify himself before getting cut off abruptly.
“DON’T YOU PUSH THE BLAME ONTO OTHERS! I HAVE ONLY BEEN AWAY FOR A FEW YEARS AND YOU ALREADY CAUSED MY GRANDDAUGHTER TO DIE YOU B*STARD SON!” He continued yelling, his voice raising a decibel at a time. “MY GRANDDAUGHTER WHO SHOULD BE AT THE PEAK OF HER LIFE IS CURRENTLY TRYING TO KILL HERSELF?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?”
“IT’S THAT BASTARD WANG XUE!” The younger man raged out. “THAT GODDAMN BASTARD WANG XUE TOOK HER HEART AND SUICIDED AND SHE WANTS TO FOLLOW HIM!”
“Wang Xue!?”
“YES WANG XUE! HE COULDN’T COPE WITHOUT HER AND SUICIDED AND NOW SHE’S BLAMING IT ALL ON HERSELF AND WANTS TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER!” The younger man said before dragging his old man to his daughter’s room. What used to be a room that vividly described a teenager’s younger years became a nightmare with the wallpapers torn, claw marks and a messy room with dried-up blood around.
There was a woman in the corner with blood around her, her hair in disarray as her hands were bound above her as she tried to look for a way to get out. It was Wang Xue’s Ying’er who was trying over years and years tried to kill herself. She noticed the old man staring at her and her lips started to quiver.
“Gr-Gg..Granndp” She said before getting cut off.
“DON’T YOU GRANDPA ME YING FEI! YOU ARE TRYING TO FOLLOW THAT TRASH INTO HIS F*CKING DEMISE AND YOU STILL EXPECT TO HAVE BLOOD TIES TO ME?” He shouted at her as she stared blankly, she was originally heavily pampered and doted upon by him but now he used such vulgar language in front of her and criticised her; not to mention using her full name instead! “I’VE GIVEN YOU ALL YOU WANT AND YOU WANT TO LEAVE ME LIKE HOW WHAT YOUR ELDER BROTHER DID!”
She started to well up at the thought of her elder brother, he was a protective and key figure in her life who’d never let her leave his sight. He had entered an Ancient Plane to find the ‘Origin Jewel’ as a birthday present but never came back… That night left a scar on her mentality and just a few years ago the second key figure in her life suicided.
“I DON’T CARE ANYMORE YING FEI! THIS TIME IM NOT GOING TO BE YOUR OVERPROTECTIVE GRANDFATHER ANYMORE! IT’S EITHER YOU GET MARRIED AND FORGET ABOUT THAT F*CKING TRASH OR YOU’LL NEVER BE ASSOCIATED WITH ME AND THIS CLAN!” He demanded not leaving her any time to rebut it and left with her dazed dad in the corner.
“GRANDPA! DON’T DO THIS TO ME GRANDPA! I’M ALWAYS YOUR FAVOURITE! RIGHT GRANDPA! DON’T LEAVE ME NOW!” She cried out at the figure angrily leaving her and then stared at her dad. “DAD YOU’RE STILL ON MY SIDE AREN’T YOU? YOU’RE STILL SUPPORTING ME RIGHT! RIGHT!?!?!?” But unfortunately…
“Sorry sweetie but… I’m with your grandfather on this point.” He answered back also leaving her within the confined space. She cried and trembled… She felt that feeling that granted her despair once again. The one that came as punishment when she had lost everything…
This made me sad… waaaaah much sobbing. This is a chapter mostly focused on the aftermath of Ying’er and made me sad oof.
