Femme Fatale:the Queen Of Chess - Chapter 18
The questions that you have may be too long, too complicated, or just confusing. A mighty ship lost in the ocean may be struck in troubled waters, calm on some days and raging on others. So are we in times of hardships and in times of uncertainty.
We feel trapped when no trap can contain the amount of agony that we have. We feel our hearts caged when no cage can contain the amount of heartache that we have.
Happiness and sadness swing us between the shires of anger and forgiveness. Our hearts may ache for an answer, but the truth is, the lack of an answer is sometimes better than the presence of a lie.
The remarkable words echoed in Renna’s head said by Najwa Zebian in her wonderfully penned book ‘Mind Platter’.
Renna Amaryllis knew that it was of no use to confront Ronan, her fearless husband, who would eventually build up a lie to answer her questions.
The yellow cab was dusted on the charcoal road, with a smooth pace that was enough for everyone to drift into some thought but Renna Amaryllis was not an easy target for anyone to hit on.
The lady wasn’t someone to be controlled by her unstable emotions which could mostly force a person to to decide rationally, but of course the queen was an exception. Renna shrugged off the thoughts of the past which dared to occupy her mind, the continuous buzzing of past flashes began to accumulate her vision.
Renna didn’t want to recall the unspeakable things she had gone through the past years, but as it is said that time heals everything, the lady had already turned prone to those past flashes and the unbearable events she had suffered from in her so called married life.
The lady’s grip around the steering became firm, more like a showcase of her anger which was bubbling inside her body, Renna’s brain was working in many directions to analyse the current situation, calculating her next strategy with which she had to proceed.
Renna positioned the front mirror and glanced at the man, peacefully snoring on the back seat, resembling the lethargic and food ridden knights from Shakespeare’s stories!
Why Renna Amaryllis associated him with those?
Nothing ordinary could be expected from the lady, who had a reputation of being a tricky woman, having a tempting face and elegance of figure was just a bonus upon her exceptionally genius brain.
No wonder she fell in love with Ronan Ross, only a demoness could tame a demon.
A perfect match?
But it caused a havoc, sometimes a spark between two people can initiate a wildfire. On the top of that, people belonging to powerful families.
“Let’s see where you live, old man. This isn’t the plan but sometimes it’s fine to step out of the lane. Who knows when the situations get out of the hands.”
Renna heaved a sigh, not because she surrendered herself to the changings in the plan rather she had already wasted twenty minutes on those thugs.
The lady was murmuring to herself and opened the dashboard to check out for his identity card or some other document, but what touched her hand took the lady by surprise that Renna immediately pushed the breaks.
“Eww! You… you old stinking…Arggh!”
She pulled out a pair of socks from the dashboard and tossed it out of the window, luckily it was not a main junction and nobody realized what the lady had done. Renna felt that she would throw up any soon, the horrible stench had ‘perfumed’ the air in no time.
“Don’t you worry, I will make it even!”
Renna pushed herself to the edge of the seat and saw the bulky petite man sleeping soundly, despite the sudden breaks he didn’t move an inch.
A grin appeared on her face, the lady had required something she could tease him with.
Renna searched out his dashboard and eventually found his electricity bill, having his home address printed on the top along with his name.
The lady pressed the crumbled paper and thought for a moment, and pressed her ear while she muttered something.
“Ray, I need his credentials and check for any association with Ronan.”
Would you really expect a vengeful woman to step on a foriegn land with no weaponry or any back up?
Renna transferred her order to the person on the other side of the bluetooth, a person listening to her feeble whisper while sitting in Russia.
Did you see her bluetooth?
Having a high tech and armed people under her wing, to underestimate the power of the lady was a foolish act.
Renna was apparently an easy target but who would have expected that the dangerous woman was wearing a bluetooth inside her ear, invisible to every ordinary eye.
She was connected to her headquarter base, particularly to her right hand man, Ray Ji. Despite being empty handed and not even having a cellphone Renna was having a chip in her right wrist, a high tech computer just in that small casing.
Unbelievable for patrons.
The sneaky working way of Amaris, Renna Amaryllis knew how to be different yet her true self. A whole bunch of her armed men were following her since the beginning, in every single street she had her so called ‘German Shepherd’ implanted like ordinary citizens who had arrived in the US a year ago or so.
Her revenge wasn’t an impulsive premise rather an important mission she had pre planned and had injected her virus into the undefeated territory of Ronan Ross.
The mad woman was ready to shake up the whole Europe, intending to wrap the mafiya king around her pinkie once again.
Amaris was back to claim the underworld, this time she was not merciful in her ways!
A beep sounded through the bluetooth as Ray Ji provided the lady with the credentials and other important information to his master, who ended the call.
Such a wide range of the bluetooth device? Having an army of ingenious people working under her, it was a piece of cake of what tricks Renna was hiding in her sleeves!
“My unconscious Saviour, you are obliged to let me into your house.”
Renna shrugged off the thought of renting a house when the old man was also a resident of Raymond street B, the lady preferred his house, ‘free of any charges’ shelter.
The wife of daredevil!
