Fictional Transcension System - Chapter 17 Hiding Cultivation 5
“Alright. Ying’er, you should take our guest back to your residence before dinner. Remember to treat him well.”
Wang Ying nodded, still blushing deeply, before indicating for Lu Fengyi to follow her. Without a sound, the two walked off into the distance in the direction of a tile-roofed house. Grand elder Li shook his head with a mix of emotions. The young miss was growing up.
“Please make yourself comfortable!”
Wang Ying showed Lu Fengyi into the tile-roofed house he had spotted in the distance. Although the house looked rather small from the distance, the interior was quite spacious, exuding the grandeur that it deserved. Two rooms walled out by painted brick lay on one side of the house while the rest of the space contained a large bookshelf of cultivation manuals and an open area for meditation.
In addition to what would already cost millions in Lu Fengyi’s previous world, the courtyard behind the house could best even the Botanic Gardens in Sydney in terms of design and beauty while the land mass stretched across almost an entire hectare.
Marvelling at the mansion before his eyes, Lu Fengyi turned to Wang Ying, “Is this entire residence your own?”
Knowing the reason behind the question, Wang Ying blushed, “I’ve told my father many times that I don’t need such an extravagant residence, however father insisted that the succeeding young mistress of the family would require at least this much.”
“Ah…”
Lu Fengyi asked no more, sitting down in front of the central fountain of the courtyard before beginning a cycle of spiritual energy. Seeing that Lu Fengyi had sat down to cultivate, Wang Ying relaxed a great deal before deciding to boil some tea that she had in stock. Although she had never drank the tea that she had been provided with, Wang Ying knew that the tea leaves were of the highest quality within the local area and just by taking them out, one could smell the wafting scent.
Just as Wang Ying entered back into the house, the interface appeared before Lu Fengyi and he quickly opened his eyes to see the notification.

Lu Fengyi sighed in relief as he saw the quest completion notification. He could finally raise his cultivation without any major consequences.
‘System, access the Cultivation Sealing Application.’
[ Alright! I’ll open it up on the interface now ]
The notification shrunk back into the task bar as an application enlarged itself upon the screen.

[ You will be able to access this application as long as you are using the Fictional Transcension System. You can click certain points on the power gauge of each cultivation realm in order to select the cultivation that you will display ]
Lu Fengyi nodded before shortly tapping the first box of the power gauge in the Juxi realm. Instantly, Lu Fengyi felt his radiating aura decrease to Juxi realm primary stage while the power within his body had not change, remaining at Dantian realm pinnacle, ‘It really works! Does this application hide my cultivation from all people and items?’
[ Of course! In order to reduce suspicion, I’ve allowed for the Library of Heaven’s Path to read your flaws, however I have hidden the most confidential information such as the existence of the Fictional Transcension System and your true cultivation ]
Lu Fengyi thanked the system before restoring his original cultivation and closing the interface, resuming the cultivation state that he had been in. Not long later, Wang Ying returned with a pot of steaming tea and two porcelain cups. Sitting herself down beside Lu Fengyi, Wang Ying poured tea into both cups before tapping on Lu Fengyi’s shoulder, “Um… Lu Fengyi, would you like some tea? It’s really good!”
Lu Fengyi pretended to exit his cultivation state before smiling broadly at Wang Ying, “Indeed I would. Thank you for your hospitality.”
“It’s fine…” Wang Ying held out a cup, handing it towards Lu Fengyi, “Here, drink it while it’s hot.”
Lu Fengyi took the cup from Wang Ying before lightly blowing upon the surface of the steaming drink and taking an elegant sip. Lu Fengyi’s mind went blank instantly as the calming flavour of the tea surged throughout his body. Although he had tasted the highest quality tea during his trip to Japan, it could not even compare to the simple, yet outstanding taste of the tea within his hand.
The tea had a perfect balance of calmness and flavour, permeating a soothing effect to any tired cultivators while also releasing an aroma that seemed fitting for even a king. Blowing upon the tea once more, Lu Fengyi took another sip, savouring the fragrance of the tea and marvelling at the beverage.
“Do you like it?” Wang Ying asked tentatively, although it was quite obvious that Lu Fengyi did.
Lu Fengyi nodded his head in reply, “It’s really good! I’ve never tasted tea as good as yours.”
Wang Ying nodded before sipping the tea as well. Together, the two students sipped away at the tea, each enjoying the moment as much as the other. Lu Fengyi gazed off into the distance, watching the setting sun as it descended slowly below the mountains. Although he had seen the exact same scene on his first day into this world, it had been nowhere near as beautiful and radiant as now.
Lu Fengyi thought back to one of the anime scenes he had seen before he transcended where the male lead put his hand upon the hand of the main girl as they stared into the sun set, lined against the Himalaya mountains. Smiling, and without thinking, Lu Fengyi placed his hand to the ground, leaning back to watch the red clouds at dusk.
“Ahh!”
Lu Fengyi heard to small outburst from Wang Ying. Turning slowly to see what had happened, Lu Fengyi saw that Wang Ying’s face was glowing just as red as the clouds in the sky. Tracing her gaze, Lu Fengyi quickly realised what he had done.
‘Shit! I put my hand on hers without thinking! What do it do?’
Speeding through a list of options, Lu Fengyi decided to play it cool. Lifting Wang Ying’s hand off the floor, Lu Fengyi smiled casually at her before looking back into the sunset, sweating profusely from his back.
Just as the tension within his heart was about to become unbearable, the good-old, booming voice he knew so well sounded once more.
“Haha! Not bad, not bad! Little brother Lu, you’re really decisive.”
