Fictional Transcension System - Chapter 53 Three Master Teachers
Quickly selecting the third option, Lu Fengyi closed the interface before facing the awakened Zhang Xuan.
Glancing down, Zhang Xuan stared incredulously at his originally injured body before looking towards Lu Fengyi, “I remember being pelted continuously with hundreds and thousands of energy fragments, however I can’t find an explanation to why I’m currently fine. When I checked the Library, the only things it said about my current condition was that I had been injured extremely severely, however an undetermined, external source healed me back to health. Although I’m more than sure that it was you, there is no way for me to find out.”
Lu Fengyi nodded at the words. Seeing that his aiding of Zhang Xuan had gone censored, there would be no need to explain anything unnecessary.
“Also, what was that compensation you mentioned? You said that I had been duly compensated already, meaning that I must already have it, right?” Zhang Xuan stood up from his sitting position, checking the rest of his body as he did so.
This time, Lu Fengyi could only shake his head in silence. While it wasn’t the end of the world if he told Zhang Xuan that every single master teacher had received a buff to their existing abilities, the fact that he knew about the matter would only draw suspicion from Zhang Xuan, possibly worsening the already difficult situation that he had created.
Clasping his hands together to break the forming silence, Lu Fengyi spoke out in a direct tone, “Alright, that’s enough questions for now. All you need to know is everything you know now. The more important objective on the agender should be to clean up this room and get it ready for lessons.”
Hearing those words, Zhang Xuan could only scratch his head in awkwardness, “The thing is, I do not have any spare desks and seats as I was branded as the worst teacher in the academy. Even if we were to clean up the current mess, I still can’t provide anything to replace them.”
Realising what Zhang Xuan had said, Lu Fengyi quickly went through a list of actions that they could take right now to minimise suspicion or confusion from the students. Since the situation demanded a complete concealment of what had just happened, there were only two main methods that Lu Fengyi could have taken. One would be to improve his use of cultivation control before reconstructing every object within the room to what it originally was, and the other would be to conduct the lesson elsewhere.
Coming to a conclusion, Lu Fengyi quickly whispered to Zhang Xuan his decided course of actions before leaving the room together, as casually as they could. Completely altering his temperament to fit a student, Lu Fengyi got into character as the two waited for the other five students.
Before long, each of the students walked down the stairs before approaching Zhang Xuan outside of the classroom. While it was true that every single one of them were curious to why their teacher was standing outside of the classroom, they knew that Zhang Xuan would either tell them if it was directly related to them or refrain from sharing due to personal secrets.
Spending the time as efficiently as he could, Lu Fengyi spread out his cultivation aura to begin probing for the three men in the shadows from earlier. As he expected, not only had the three men not moved from their position, each of them were spreading their auras once more, however this time more carefully and conscious about their surroundings.
As if timid souls, the three auras probed towards the students before surrounding and seemingly reading the cultivation and important points of each child. Upon reaching his turn, Lu Fengyi detached his probing aura from his body to prevent detection before reaching out towards the three figures.
This time, without the barrier of a magic-infused classroom door, Lu Fengyi could clearly detect the three figures, even finding information upon not only their cultivation, but their bodies.
Of course, by bodies, Lu Fengyi only meant the items upon the bodies. If he were to be interested in older men that were several times older than he was, wouldn’t that be almost a complete waste of his romantic life and existence?
Without warning, the system’s sound within his head rang out once more.
[ Through thorough analysis, I’ve gotten the limit to what you are authorised to find out about the targets. Would you like a quick description or the lengthier one that elaborates upon all the details as well? ]
While it was true that the second option would be much more useful, it wasn’t something that could be completely absorbed within the next few minutes or so, meaning that the most suitable option he could go for right now was the shortened list.
[ Alright, you wish for the shortened version. From what I’ve found, the three parties are all master teachers of the 1 star rank and their cultivation sits around the Tongxuan realm pinnacle. If you’d like, I can stop them from probing your aura so you’ll be able to relax a little more.’
Lu Fengyi considered the option for a moment before promptly refusing, ‘I’d do it if I weren’t trying to play it off as a student, however, since their auras have already probed me enough, it would be overly suspicious to suddenly change the nature of my aura.’
[ Good choice. It seems that your observational skills have improved over the course of this world. Soon you’ll be leaving it, however do know that everything you learn stays with you as long as it isn’t a physical gain ]
Nodding at the system’s words, Lu Fengyi realised that all the other students under Zhang Xuan’s tutelage had arrived and Zhang Xuan was currently introducing the plan.
“Ahem Due to certain circumstances, we are unable to use the classroom, so today, we’ll be conducting a lesson outside of the academy.” Zhang Xuan explained.
Zhao Ya’s hand shot up, “Where will we be going, Zhang laoshi?”
Stroking his chin twice, Zhang Xuan turned towards Zhao Ya before answering, “We will be going to the grassy plains outside of the academy. Not only is it the most optimal for early morning qi, it will also reset the mood of a boring classroom for everyone.”
This time, Yuan Tao raised his hand, “Zhang laoshi, why is your classroom currently unavailable?”
Seeing no good reason not to reply, Zhang Xuan quickly thought of an explanation before answering, “Lu Fengyi and I were conducting earlier lessons and his moves grew a little out of control, blowing many things within the room to smithereens.”
Hearing the words, Lu Fengyi shot a glance towards Zhang Xuan, a hint of annoyance and murderous intent within them.
Did the guy have to draw attention to him? Sure, he was the Elite Student of the school, however, he did not need anymore attention than he already had. It seemed that even though he had practically given Zhang Xuan a buff, a ravenous dog would still bite the hand of its owner. Something would have to done about this.
