Fictional Transcension System - Chapter 64 Departure
After his conversing with the system, Lu Fengyi looked back towards the arena once more, this time noticing that not only had Lu Xun completely lost the hateful expression upon his face, but instead was now replaced by the respectful expression that one would show to a god.
“Thank you Elder Mo, for delivering the news.”
Zhang Xuan thanked and bowed towards Elder Mo. With a glance, Lu Fengyi already knew that the elder was the one that had conducted the Enlightenment Will Trial several weeks earlier.
“That is no problem. Make sure you raise your Elite Student well so that he becomes a powerful being in the future.” Elder Mo saluted before heading towards the exit.
“Yes, senior!” Zhang Xuan could only scratch his head in annoyance as he muttered under his breath, “If only I could…”
“Hmm? What was that?” Elder Mo turned around with a smiling face.
“Oh… n-nothing. Don’t worry. Just talking to myself.” Zhang Xuan hurriedly waved his hands, as if warding away suspicion.
‘Tch, this guy is definitely trying to do me in right now. There’s no way someone like him wouldn’t even be able to remain composed when asked a question.’ Lu Fengyi thought to himself before chuckling internally, ‘Then why don’t I just reveal myself then.’
‘System, can you remove the Cultivation Sealing Application for me.’
[ Alright. What are you planning to do? ]
Ignoring the system’s question, Lu Fengyi stepped forwards, bursting with the full extent of his unsealed cultivation. Instantly, every single person’s face paled in both shock and fright, recoiling into their seat to distance themselves from the intense radiation of energy.
The jaws of the three master teachers dropped as they pointed shaking fingers towards Lu Fengyi, “Z-Zhi-Zhizun realm pinnacle?!”
Hearing the words from the astounded master teachers, everyone within the hall almost fainted with shock as they realised what type of person they were met with. It wasn’t that they hadn’t seen powerful people before, however there was truly never a man to exceed the Zongshi realm before in the history of the entire kingdom. For someone to be of the Zhizun realm, and such a young man as well, there could only be single explanation. Lu Fengyi had been hiding his identity and was truly a powerful expert in disguise the entire time.
Zhang Xuan stared in shock as he watched Lu Fengyi walk towards the exit of the hall, “Lu Fengyi! What do you want?”
Lu Fengyi turned back with a devilish grin, “I’m going to ransack the school library for all the information possible before storming into the palace and taking their stored knowledge as well!”
Still under the pressure exuded from Lu Fengyi’s aura, the master teachers managed to put up a confused expression, “Great senior is already of the Zhizun realm. For what reason do you need to go through the libraries of such a low levelled kingdom for?”
“Hmph! That is none of your business!” Lu Fengyi flicked his robes before stepping outside of the hall, ‘Alright! I’m going to make the most of the Cultivation Affinity and remember all the content within the books of the school’s library.’
[ What the hell do you think you’re doing? ]
Lu Fengyi raised an eyebrow, ‘Obtaining knowledge, obviously. You said that anything that I did would not carry on into my next visit to this world as I’m doing the tutorial, so why should I not take advantage of this moment to read up on cultivation techniques? Or could it be, you actually feel sorry for the people of this world?’
[ Sigh, that’s not it. The issue is that not only is the information you’re planning to go through incomplete, it will most definitely be full of flaws. Even if they have minimal flaws, the Cultivation Knowledge Packs that you can obtain will cover everything without you needing to do this. Why the hell would you even consider filling your brain with this shit? ]
Lu Fengyi contemplated for a moment before chuckling. To think that he thought his plans to ransack the libraries was already ruthless. It was truly nothing before the insensitive system that would follow him for the rest of his transcender career.
‘Then what do you suggest I do?’
[ What do I suggest you do? Obviously you should just leave this world now. Since you’ll be ejected in 24 hours anyways, and you can’t obtain anything that will benefit you, should you just conserve time and leave? ]
‘Leave? Are you sure?’
Although Lu Fengyi knew that the system was right, it was slightly difficult emotionally to leave his first ever cultivation novel. After living a mostly uneventful life, the prospect of cultivation was simply too addicting.
[ Sigh, you make the decision. I’m just your system after all ]
Lu Fengyi stood quietly for a moment before making his decision.
[ Good. At least you know how to listen to advice. If you went an began going through their libraries, you might as well just jump in some trash, expecting to find treasures among it ]
‘Alright, I give the go for leaving this world.’
[ Good choice. I’ll initiate the sequence now ]
Lu Fengyi looked towards the opening hole in the sky before quickly thinking, ‘Wait a moment.’
[ ? ]
Lu Fengyi smiled oddly at the singular question mark that appeared, ‘It’s like this. My first two rides were terrible, so could you make the journey back a little more comfortable?’
A moment of silence passed without a single answer.
‘Uhh, are you…’
[ Are you kidding me? You’re really asking for free stuff right now? ]
‘Huh, all I asked was for a better ride…’
[ You realise that even the cheapest upgrade to a more advanced ride costs thousands of T-gold without even mentioning the instalment fee? ]
Lu Fengyi felt speechless, ‘All I wanted was just no to be thrown ruthlessly onto the ground after the trip…’
[ Hmph. If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be initiating the sequence now. Please do not interrupt me with such impudence again ]
Silence befell Lu Fengyi once more as the gap in the sky widened before creating what seemed like a photo-shopped circle that was plastered onto an existing picture.
‘So this is what transported me last time.’
Just as Lu Fengyi finished his thought, his vision went dark and all his other senses fell into a stasis, completely shutting down his nervous system and placing him into a state of semi-consciousness. Just before his mind dimmed, Lu Fengyi heard faint words from the system.
[ Strap on tight. We’re skipping the lobby and going straight to the main hall of the Fictional Trans… or should that be the Anime/Fiction Transcension System. Sigh, still hate that name… ]
And with that, Lu Fengyi felt his world completely darken, leaving behind the visages of his existence upon the crumbling world behind him..
