Finding Stardust - Chapter 159 I Dont Want To See You All Naked..
Emma smiled to herself. She realized that by traveling with Therius and Xion, her life would become easier and more comfortable.
“Very well. Then you can rest here. Just take a nap or whatever you want. We will check the area around us and make sure no big animal will bother you,” said Therius.
Without waiting for Emma’s reply, he had jumped to the air and flew around to check their surroundings. Xion looked at his best friend’s departure with a smiling face.
“Ahh … you will definitely like our adventures in Daneria. This place is truly like an unspoiled paradise,” Xion commented. “I wish I could live here forever.”
“I’m glad we stopped by here,” Emma said. “I’m was bored to death in the ship.”
Xion only smiled at Emma’s words. In fact, as a person who got bored easily, he should have suffered more than Emma. On their trip to earth, he had chosen to sleep in the sleeping pod for three months because he couldn’t take it anymore.
He didn’t know how Therius could do it.
But this time though, Xion felt happy and relaxed. It was Emma’s presence on the ship that made a difference for him.
Not only did he get to enjoy seeing Emma and Therius having argument after argument, but he also trained with her three times a week. It was quite a funny sight to see whenever she tried to use her telemancy to copy Xion but failed.
Xion himself was surprised when he realized that he was still enjoying the long trip after 3.5 months. It made him think that the remainder of their journey wouldn’t be so bad at all.
“I’ll go help Therius check our surroundings and later catch some small animals to eat. You go ahead and sleep,” Xion tapped Emma on the shoulder and then dashed away.
Emma looked around her and took a deep breath.
Ahh … She did feel so sleepy. However, before she closed her eyes, Emma walked to the giant tree that Xion uprooted and replanted again by her side to provide shade for her.
Inwardly, Emma was amazed at Xion’s abilities. Ah, didn’t Xion say that he could dry lakes and move mountains with his aeromancy?
Of course, moving a big tree like this was only a small matter for Xion, Emma thought.
She walked over to the big tree and touched the trunk. She wanted to make sure the tree was healthy and doing well in its new place.
“Oh … some of your roots are injured,” Emma muttered to herself. “Please forgive my friend who uprooted you carelessly. I will heal you and make you better.”
The truth was if Emma wanted, she could just grow a new tree with wide leaves that would provide shade for her from the Daneria’s bright sun. But she didn’t want to do it in front of Xion and Therius because they didn’t know she was a herbomancer.
They already knew that Emma had all of her mother’s powers, but Emma still wanted to keep the information secret that she also inherited her father’s powers. Let this be her own secret that they didn’t need to know.
Emma touched the tree trunk and stroked it gently. “Now, your roots are healed. I hope you like your new place.”
After patting the tree several times, Emma then let out a big yawn and decided to lay down on the air couch and wrap herself with the blanket.
Ahh … the breeze was blowing lightly. Emma was covered from the glaring light by a nice shady tree. The set up was perfect for taking a beauty sleep.
Her eyes went droopy when drowsiness filled her head. Slowly they closed, and Emma was finally asleep.
***
She woke up when her nose sniffed a delicious smell of grilled meat. Suddenly Emma became hungry. The girl opened her eyes one by one, and quickly her consciousness came back.
She remembered that she was no longer aboard the Coralia Intergalactic Spaceship. She, Therius, and Xion decided to go on an adventure on the planet Daneria.
“You’re awake?” Xion’s cheerful voice greeted her from her peaceful slumber. “Did you sleep well?”
Emma immediately got up from her sleeping position and sat on the sofa. Her eyes widened with joy when she saw Xion grilling three small animals that smelled very delicious on the fire.
“Yes, not bad. I feel refreshed now. What are you cooking?” Emma asked.
“These are some small animals that we caught in the savanna. Their meat is delicious and tender.”
Emma gulped when she saw the grilled meat already had a perfect browning with some fat and juices dripping from the meat. The flavorful smell was so mouthwatering that she couldn’t hold back licking her lips.
“Oh …” Emma nodded in understanding. “Is that our dinner?”
“That’s right. I know it’s still daytime here, but your biological clock must already think it’s in the evening. Are you hungry already?”
“A little bit,” Emma said.
“One moment. The meat is almost done being grilled,” said Xion. He sniffed the air a bit and then nodded. He handed Emma a piece of grilled meat and invited her to eat. “You can eat it now.”
“Thank you.”
Without hesitation, Emma accepted the meat that Xion had handed to her and immediately ate it. Meanwhile, Xion and Therius took the other two and ate their shares.
The three of them ate quietly. Inwardly Emma praised the meat Xion grilled because it tasted quite good. She really enjoyed her meal.
It wasn’t long before the three of them had their stomachs full, and they sat happily around the small fire.
“Ahh .. it feels so good,” said Emma. “I’ve taken a nap and eaten dinner. I feel so fresh now. I can do anything.”
“Really?” asked Xion enthusiastically. “Do you want to play in the canyon below? It’s a gorgeous sight. The river is so fresh.”
“Of course,” Emma said with a smile.
Xion put out the fire and tidied up his cooking equipment. After everything was cleared, he stood up and stretched his body excitedly.
“Yihaaa … we’ll have fun!”
Emma almost laughed at the man’s enthusiasm. She saw that Therius had been quiet during dinner. He was just eating his meat gracefully while his forehead frowned as if he was thinking of something complex.
“Why do you seem so excited?” Emma asked Xion, who was already sitting on the sofa and started to take off his shoes.
“Oh, I’ve missed swimming in the river. It’s so nice to soak yourself in fresh flowing water,” Xion answered.
Emma’s face suddenly turned red at Xion’s nonchalant words.
“Y-you guys want to bathe in the river down there?” she asked in a tone of disbelief.
Xion had taken off his two shoes and was now unfastening his shirt buttons. “Of course. Why?”
“Don’t you feel awkward getting undressed in front of me?” Emma asked Xion with widen eyes.
“Ah, you must be feeling super lucky because you can get this rare opportunity to see two very handsome men undress in front of you and reveal their beautiful bodies? Isn’t that right?” teased Xion with a chuckle.
“Tch,” Emma rolled her eyes. “I don’t feel lucky at all.”
Therius, who had finished his meal and cleared his leftover, had now followed in Xion’s footsteps and removed his shoes. Next, he was also removing his shirt.
“Jeez … Therius, you too?” asked Emma in surprise.
Therius gave Emma a flat look. “Why that face? Have you never seen a male body before? ”
“Er… of course I have, but …” Involuntarily Emma turned away when she saw Xion unfastening his belt and then took off his pants. Emma growled and complain inwardly.
From the corner of her eye, she saw that Xion’s clothes had been stacked on the air sofa, and then followed by Therius’ clothes.
“Don’t you like swimming?” asked Xion with a chuckle.
“I do, but I don’t want to see you all naked,” Emma said.
“If you don’t want to look, you can come down to the river after we jump down,” said Xion. He laughed heartily. “But, it’s your loss…”
Even though Emma could not see him, she could hear Xion walked toward the waterfall to their right. The cascade of water flowing down the cliff and made a beautiful river at the bottom of the canyon, over 100 meters below them. Xion jumped down, and the sound of his body splashing with the water below was heard not long after.
“Xion was just pulling your leg,” said Therius in an amused tone. “We’re not swimming naked.”
Emma pursed her lips and turned to Therius to check if he was telling the truth.
Ahh … apparently he was. She could see Therius still had his shorts on. He looked at Emma’s flushed face with an amused expression.
The girl was stunned for a few good seconds when she saw the beautiful manly body in front of her. Therius had all his muscles in the right place.
“Xion tricked me,” Emma pouted.
“Are you going to swim? The water is so fresh,” said Therius.
“Hmm… I would love to,” said Emma. “But unfortunately, I didn’t know we were going swimming. I didn’t have my swimming gear.”
She looked at her own clothes, a pair of pants with a thin shirt and boots. They were not suitable for swimming. And she didn’t want to swim naked or in her underwear in front of these two men.
“Hm … try to check your backpack,” said Therius. “I’m sure Atila was preparing something for you.”
“Oh, that’s right,” Emma nodded. “I’ll check it out.”
Therius nodded and immediately walked towards the waterfall where Xion jumped earlier. With a beautiful movement, he also jumped into the canyon. The splashing sound of water was immediately heard from below.
