Fire God Douluo - Chapter 1 The Asakura Family

“He’s beautiful, Yo that is going to be your name, Yo Asakura” she said softly before falling asleep with the baby resting in her arms. Her nurse quietly came in and snuck Yo away placing him in a cott next to her.

The Asakura family are a family of douluo that can be dated back billions of years into the past, the current family remains hidden amongst nature long forgotten by the world, having seen the cruelty and evil hidden within the human heart. Despite the dangerous threat Spirit Hall is towards the world they would not be any threat to the Asakura family having 4 rank 99 guardian elders, 7 rank 96-97 elders, 10 rank 93-95 elders and finally the patriarch and matriarch (Yo’s parents) being rank 99 douluo. Amongst the younger generation it is even believed that the clan has a hidden group of rank 100 experts as a last line of defence.

A 10 year old Yo was running all over the family mansion, and anyone who would see the hyperactive boy would never connect him to the martial arts genius that his clan believed he was. “Mum Dad it’s finally time I’m 10 now I get to awaken my spirit.” the speeding Yo coming to a halt in front of a beautiful couple of man and wife exuding and aura of royalty. “Thats right son, now remember the Asakura family are attack type spiritualists but it doesn’t matter to us either way what you get” Ken Asakura took towards the centre of the dimly lit ritual room and proceeded with awakening his spirit.

Bright lights surrounded Yo and intense heat began radiating off of him, “What did you do!” his mother Nanami Asakura questioned her husband, “nothing I swear it just happened…” As the light began to fade away Yo was standing still with smoke coming off of him red runic symbles in his eyes gave him a demonic look, facing his parents Yo began speaking to them:

“MY CHILDREN, I AM HAO ASAKURA, THIS CHILD HAS INHERITED MY SPIRITS AND SO I LEAVE HIM MY INHERITANCE I BELIEVE THAT THROUGH MY RINGS HE MAY FAR SURPASS ALL ASAKURA’S AND GODS, EVERY NEW REALM HE ENTERS I WILL GIVE A NEW SPIRIT RING FROM MY ORIGINAL SET EACH ON HAS NOW AGED TO 10MILLION YEARS OLD BOTH HIS SPIRITS WILL REACH NEW HEIGHTS WITH THIS. I WILL NOW HAVE TO PLACE HIM THROUGH EXTREME PAINS TO CHANGE HIS BODY STRUCTURE TO BE FILLED WITH ONLY 10 MILLION YEAR OLD EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL SPIRIT BONES, THIS MAY BE MY LAST COMMUNICATION WITH ANYONE SO WITHIN HIS BRAIN I LEAVE ALL MY KNOWLEDGE ON CULTIVATION, FIGHTING AND MY KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC.”

As soon as the voice left Yo’s body he collapsed and began to shake on the floor convulsing in pain, black ooze leaking out of his body and whote foam from his mouth. Slowly his hair grew to waist length and his back had a sun tattoo etched into it.

Slowly Yo began to wake up from the floor sweat dripping off his body, looking around confused with what was going on. Getting up slowly he could feel as if his entire body had changed, he entered the next room only to find it occupied by all the clans titled douluo, “ahh man don’t tell me I messed up” Yo could only mope at the thought of dissapointing his mum and dad “No No Yo you didn’t mess up infact your Grandparents and uncles are here because your spirits are so amazing” his mother quickly reasured.

“Yo release your spirits” his grandfather(A) (I’m just going to call his dad’s mum/dad granddad/mum A and vice versa) told him, Yo lifted his hands revealing a pure black katana with not a single ornament just the blade and guard, and on the other a simple red flame with a black line perfectly coiling around it up to the tip. “It is just like the ancestors spirits” grandfather (B) “haha my Yo is a genius” his grandmothers raised their heads beaming in pride. His family began to explain everything that has happened to him as easily as they could it was obvious Yo was getting a headache just listening.

” so if what your saying is true then my body should be made out of spirit bones and I should have two new rings, I guess I need to take a look then” with a thought Yo brought out two gold and black/red spirit rings one creating a blade in his hand the others ability nowhere to be seen “it isn’t visible, the spirit of fires ring is flame creation and control” Yo told them.

Tool Spirit: The first Blade

abilities:

1) ring one: allows you to create a black blade imbude with sword qi, which can attack an enemy from a distance, the stronger the understanding of the sword the stronger the sword qi.

Elemental Spirit: Spirit of fire

ability:

1) ring one: gives absolute control over fire to control, defend and attack during fights.

“I have all these cool new powers so now does that mean everyone can teach me and I can be as strong as you guys one day” Yo’s eyes had stars in them as he asked his family, “that’s right from now on you’re going to go through some tough training so get ready brat” grandpa (A) replied with a stern look.

” Oh Yo that reminds me, your fiance has finally been decided, it will be Anna Kyoyama, she also just had her awakening so you wont see her for a while” hos mother Nanami told him with a smile that would not take no for an answer. leaving Yo to sulk as he remembered how Anna was so pushy with him.

“erghh I’m already rank 37 and I still can’t take a break, I just want to escape outside for a bit is that so bad” Yo moaned in his room tired of all the abuse his training has put him through, regretting asking his family to train him a year ago. ‘The one year till Anna comes out of closed door training is almost up, so I have to escape from the compound before that’ Yo could only speak to himself in his mind in fear of being heard. “Ok I’ve got my escape plan all ready this last month of planning will not go to waste” so Yo picked up his bag of belongings and set of to escape, first he laid out traps in his room along witha dummy in his quilt, then create several timely diversions for the guards be distracted, using that opportunity I’ll take the long route down the mountain to avoid detection” (there are a bunch of other steps but I’ll just skip over it as it isn’t important)

Yo having finally made it down the mountain dropped to his knees it happiness due to escaping unbeknownst to him he was still being watched, ” *sigh* did he really think we wouldn’t recognise his aura even disguised” (grandfather B) “this maybe good for him to escape fighting in a controlled environment, getting to experience fights to the death, and able to make brothers and sisters that will never leave him” (dad) “*sigh* which of you will tell the women, I wont be” (grandfather A) “lets send one of the elders at rank 97 to go protect him for a while” (dad).

Tool Spirit: The first blade (blade – weapon)

abilities:

1)ring one: allows you to create a black blade imbude with sword qi, which can attack an enemy from a distance, the stronger the understanding of the sword the stronger the sword qi.

2)ring two: create a sword force domain around you in which you control everything which means you can see all enemies and near instantly react also can send a cut to any place in the domain.

3)ring three: A black shihakusho is worn by the spiritualist, gives a major increase in speed and agility without any drop in strength or defence and makes spirits friendlier towards you.

Elemental Spirit: Spirit of fire

ability:

1) ring one: gives absolute control over fire to control, defend and attack during fights.

2) ring two: summon an unlimited amount of lances of flames, what they lack in power they make up in numbers, penetrative power and burns.

3)ring three: throw away all the spirit of fires attacking prowess and create a defensive sphere that blocks and destroys all attacks.

whole body spirit bone: Fire gods Bones – The body is completely impervious to all and any fire, gains a large boost in physical and mental abilities.

-body gets stronger from absorbing the heat of the sun,

-when the body reaches spirit rank 99 each punch will have the force of a sun behind it.

external spirit bone: Wings of the Fire dragon king – wings with capabilities of flight

– able to send a blazing blast of air from a wing beat

With his new found freedom Yo rushed to escape the vicinity of the mountains heading for a new town. so he spent a few weeks rushing three towns east from the mountain and after a quick break in an inn he headed northbound another four towns, all this to make sure he escaped any potential trackers. (The travelling was a bit rushed but I didn’t want to go into it or I might get bored writing it).

He finally came to a stop at a small town on the outskirts of suotuo city, “hmm there’s a school here that is looking for students, maybe it’ll be fun.” taking a look at the directions he headed to Shreck academy. Getting close by he could hear a man whining, something about a refund.

“Shreck academy only accepts monsters if you can’t meet the requirements I suggest you pack up and leave” the administrator says to the crowd.

Yo only wanted to observe to see who might go up, slowly the numbers dwindled only a few people having gone through, “is that everyone? ” the administrator gave a final shout “no I’d like to join, I am Yo Asakura rank 38 and 11 years old” ‘I didn’t think my strength would be so abnormal to these people so much so I can actually see people gasping’. so after some standard checks Yo was free to go for the test of course he used some of Hao’s techniques to hide his spirit ring age but other than that he was free to join.

Having completed the final test everyone had gotten in and became much closer, Yo had noticed that one of his new friends was a spirit beast but it didn’t matter to him because he just found her funny and nice. Yo had no idea that the vice – principal Zhao Wuji would get beaten up by the elder and Tang Hao for hurting us during the exam, but they were not cheap with money for the school, because the family has never needed much money, the family gave the school that Yo chose crap loads of money to finance all of our training which only left the two teachers curious about my true identity.

on the edge of star dou forest close to the academy Tang Hao stood in front of elder Chen who has been assigned to watch over him for some time. “Who are you and what is it you’re doing here?” (Tang Hao) “I am Chen, Chen Asakura and I have been assigned to stay and watch over the young master for some time and what about you are you a threat to my young master?” (Elder) ” no, I am Tang Hao I am only here to see my son off and make sure he is safe before I leave to train” (Tang Hao) “then I wish you good luck” (Elder)

“WHAAAT!!!” (Nanami Asakura) “please honey calm down he escaped while we weren’t looking after him, right father..” Ken Asakura looked towards his father-in-law for help, but it could not come as he similarly began to be berated by his mother in laws and wife. ” it doesn’t matter that he’s left as his wife I’ll find him and beat some sense into him to come back no matter how long it takes or what I have to do, he will come back…” Anna voiced in a cold and angry tone, walking off towards her resident’s to prepare to leave. Ken could only shiver at the thought of his son being dragged back here in chains sobbing in pain.
