First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 568 The First Virtue
With his heartbeat thudding from disbelief, Michael sprouted his great wings and took off into the sky towards the source of the voices.
Just as he expected, he saw the two people he never imagined he would see again in the midst of a small group.
“Mother! Brother!”
“Hello, sweet boy!”
“Greetings, brother.”
Michael narrowed his eyes as he realized that maybe his family wasn’t quite right.
“What… are you two drinking..?”
The mother and son pair looked down at their hands.
Both of them were holding an icy glass filled with a slushy-like concoction.
“Oh, the waitress at the restaurant seemed to be find your brother quite attractive, so she brought us these of her own volition.”
“I have never had a ‘frozen margarita’ before, but I confess that this treat is quite delightful… though detoxifying this draconic alcohol takes some concentration.”
Valerie: “You’re ruining the purpose of drinking it!”
“…Are you aware of just how much you resemble Gulban at times?”
Valerie: “You take that back, emo boy!”
‘Emo..?’
In fairness, Azrael’s androgynous face, black circles underneath his eyes, and dark grey wings did indeed make him look like an emo variant of seraphim.
One by one, the rest of the golden archangels reappeared at his back.
All of them were shocked beyond belief to see their retired mother and missing brother standing in the middle of the streets of the white city while sipping frozen beverages.
“W-What is this…?”
“Mother..!”
“How did you two get here?! And why are you with him?!”
All of the archangels glared at Abaddon like he was the main villain in an NTR doujin.
He didn’t actually like that all that much, but if some random man just showed up with his mothers then he wouldn’t be very happy either.
So because of that, he decided to take no action against any of them and didn’t sling any rude comments.
“Boy, they reallyyy don’t like you.” Nyx whispered. “What did you do to them?”
“”””””Nyx?!?””””””
“Yo!” The night goddess held up two fingers in a peace sign.
‘No one has even acknowledged my presence…’ Sif had started to wonder if life would always be like this now that she hung around such infamous beings all day long.
Just as well, since she wasn’t much of a conversationalist.
Michael was incensed.
Some way some how, Abaddon had come into contact with one of the strongest goddesses in existence and formed some sort of close relationship.
In that moment, they felt like they were learning things that they definitely shouldn’t have known.
“So that’s how you gained power so fast… Nyx made you a primordial god!” Uriel accused.
“Eh? You could’ve done that?” Abaddon turned to her.
“Any deity at the level of a pantheon head can make gods, you should know this. I couldn’t have given you so many powerful concepts or brought you to this realm of power though.”
Now that Abaddon thought about it, he could vaguely recall a story from Shintoism where two gods had a dick swinging contest that involved literally creating gods out of thin air.
“Wait, why wouldn’t my little Gabbrielle remind me of this?!” He realized.
“It’s a very dangerous process. You could end up unmaking the person instead if you don’t know what you’re doing… and you’re pretty reckless with that kind of thing.
She probably didn’t want to risk it because your children will ascend naturally in a few thousand years anyway, or they’ll have grown so powerful there won’t really be a difference.”
Abaddon rolled his eyes as he folded his arms. “…I’m not reckless.”
“Need I remind you how you became what you currently are??”
Abaddon glanced at Ayaana, who glared at him and folded their arms as they remembered their most recent fight.
“A-Ahem, no. I get your point.” He turned away.
“Is there a reason why my brothers and sisters seem particularly unhappy to see you?” Azrael suddenly asked as he sipped his fruity drink.
“I have no idea at a-”
“That creature is holding us hostage! He refuses to let us go if we don’t handover our virtues!” Gabriel blurted out.
“…” Azrael stared at Abaddon accusatorially, but he just turned away and pretended that he couldn’t see him.
“You already have the sins, why do you want our virtues as well?”
“Oh, you know… just to complete the set?”
“…”
“I’m a dragon, alright?! I like nice things!”
*Azrael shakes his head in disappointment at the oldest stereotype in creation.*
“Besides, it’s not like they can’t have then back!” Abaddon suddenly said.
“Oh?”
“I only need to see them for but a moment so that I can study and replicate them before eventually making my improvements.” (He did not tell them that the first time)
Azrael still looked a bit unconvinced.
However, someone else was not.
“Gabriel dear, come here a moment.” Asherah called.
The archangel looked momentarily surprised before glancing at his floating siblings.
They seemed not to really know what to do either.
Eventually, the angel floated down until he was a few steps away from the group. “Y-Yes, mother..?”
Asherah walked right in front him and held out her glass. “Please hold this a moment.”
“Alright..”
“Pardon me, dear.”
Asherah placed her hand on Gabriel’s chest.
With a pulling gesture, she extracted his virtue as easily as taking a coke out of the refrigerator.
“M-Mother!”
“Trust me, my child. I will not give it to him.” True to her word, Asherah only handed out the virtue to Abaddon, but didn’t hand it over.
“This should be all you need, right? Observe.”
Abaddon leaned in to get a better look.
“…This one’s a little gross. Can you pick another one?”
“…Tathamet, though you cannot see it I have just rolled my eyes.” Asherah said dryly.
Abaddon took that as a no.
Briefly, he opened all five of his eyes.
But instead of seeing everything that he normally would have, he focused them so that he could only see the single virtue in front of him.
His eyes and brain burned like hell, but he could see it all.
The entire runic layout, the densely compacted magical circuitry, and even its connection to human mortals.
He committed it all to memory.
The entire process took exactly one second; a lengthy amount of time for him.
When it was over, he held out a clawed hand.
Pulling from the vast energy of heaven, or himself, he recreated the schematics for the virtues exactly.
Three seconds later, he held a small ethereal ball in the palm of his hand that was no different from the one Asherah had.
The blue symbol in the center of it pulsed with a strange energy to give off a very tranquil and calming feeling.
“Unbelievable…” Michael murmured in disbelief.
Abaddon unhinged his jaw inhumanely wide and threw the virtue into the back of his throat.
Almost immediately, he made the same disgusted face that Mira made whenever something that wasn’t fried or sugary ended up on her plate. (Apophis and Lailah make the same face)
“Blegh!”
“Eh? What did you just eat, honey?” Ayaana asked in concern.
“Chastity..” Abaddon muttered in disgust.
The look his wives gave him became slightly suspicious. “And… do you feel any different?”
“I…”
Abaddon’s entire body suddenly began to glow.
When the light died down, his hair was gone; his head now shaved bald like a monk.
He was also wearing a priest-like robe and holding his hands together in prayer posture.
“I suddenly have the strangest urge… I believe I might want to take a vow of celibacy.”
No words could have horrified the wives more.
They would have rather their husband say he wanted a divorce, had developed an interest in men, or even wanted to bring another woman into their bed before he uttered those words.
“ABSOLUTELY NOT!”
“H-Hey!”
The girls tackled Abaddon to the ground and jammed their fingers inside of his mouth like they were trying to make him throw up.
“Spit it out! Spit it out right fucking now, damn it!”
Even Nyx joined in and began jumping up and down on his stomach like it was an inflatable house. “I haven’t gotten my turn yet! Give it up after I spend the night with you!”
“That’s not going to happen!”
Ayaana was still in the process of trying to make their husband throw up when suddenly the sound of laughter emerged from underneath them.
Abaddon’s familiar red hair sprouted from his head once again before losing its color and becoming a two-toned black and white.
“Honey… are you joking with us?” The girls showed a smile that was not a smile.
Abaddon was scarred and aroused by what might happen to him if he said yes.
“Possibl-”
He barely got the words out before the girls went from his mouth to his neck as they started choking him like a cartoon character.
Truthfully, the virtue of chastity did nothing to him at all.
It only makes you stronger if you’re celibate and free of dirty thoughts.
He had just had sex in the bathroom at the restaurant, and wanted to have it again even now.
Gabriel could’ve given him a gas station gift card and it would’ve made more of an overall difference in terms of his power.
“S-So then everything is okay, right? You’re not sick?!” Ayaana asked worriedly.
Sif / Azrael / Asherah : “He was never sick…”
“We said what we said!”
Abaddon slipped his hands underneath Ayaana’s dress and ran them up her tattooed legs. “You girls are more than free to check my condition yourself if you like.”
“I believe we’ll take you up on that~”
Ayaana slipped the tip of their tail into the pants of their husband and used it to wrap around his member and began to move it up and down.
Sif : “W-Wasn’t the quickie you two just had enough…?”
Azrael: “Heavens, get a room..”
Nyx: “Take it out so i can see bette-”
“Alright!” Asherah suddenly clapped her hands.
“I think we should all take some time to work on our issues just a little bit. What do you all say??”
