First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 592 The Death of Asgard : Part X
Chapter 592 The Death of Asgard : Part X
As Abaddon returned back to normal size, he saw two figures sitting on Nyx’s shoulders.
One immediately leapt down towards him, and he smiled despite the fact that even that hurt.
As Ayaana came closer towards him, Abaddon wondered if he was going to be in for some kind of stern talking to from them as well as Nyx.
He didn’t have the energy to do anything right now, much less fight with his loved ones.
“Girls, I…”
Ayaana fell on top of him gently and wrapped his body in a warm embrace.
At that moment, he had never been so sure that these were the women he was meant to be with.
Even though his body should have been screaming in pain from just the slightest touch, every movement of his wives’ body against his skin was euphoric.
“We know… we’re just glad you’re okay.”
As he was now, Abaddon could not even lift his arms to hug the girls back.
The very most that his body would allow him to do was wrap his tail around her own.
This small gesture seemed to really send the girls over the edge, and a small tear rolled down their cheek as they kissed him.
“Alright, alright, we don’t have time for this!!”
Ayaana was suddenly nudged off of Abaddon and a very unlikeable face appeared above him instead.
Abaddon’s eyes immediately narrowed. “What the fuck are you doing here…?”
“Helping to make sure we don’t have to scrape you off the payment is what it looks like, creampuff!” Gulban made an unsightly gesture with his fingers.
As Abaddon gnashed his teeth in irritation, Ayaana placed a cold hand on his cheek to calm his nerves.
“I know what it seems like, but don’t bear too much resentment towards him. If it weren’t for his help, we wouldn’t have been able to get here until much later.”
This admittedly caused Abaddon to raise his brow a bit, which only made Gulban more upset.
“What?! You think if my daughter asks me for a favor I would tell her no?”
Abaddon had a great many choice words at the moment that he wanted to say, but he holstered them out of respect for the fact that the old maker had apparently only come to help.
The girls finally helped him sit up so that they could all see the scenery together.
As they supported him, the girls couldn’t help but let out a mildly impressed whistle at the ocean of nothingness that was growing ever larger as the minutes went by.
“You’ve done quite the number on this place, hon… If we couldn’t feel your condition, we might believe you still had all of your powers.”
Abaddon smiled bashfully at the praise. “Not my best work, but I think it sends a proper message… And acts as an omen for what more is to come.”
Ayaana smiled proudly as she began running her hands across her husband’s body in an attempt to soothe him.
“Best work or not, just sit back and relax, hm? There’s a reason why we brought super bitch up there.”
Abaddon looked up at the titanic Nyx and realized that she wasn’t paying attention to him in the slightest.
Her eyes were still focused on the mass of lightning embroiled in a heated struggle a kilometer away; wearing a more sinister look than any he’d ever seen before.
‘I wish I would have known you were coming like this… I would’ve left you a little bit more to do.’
–
Despite his best attempt, Satan was not able to bite cleanly through the head of his adversary.
By teleporting away when things became too hairy, Zeus was able to not only buy himself time to recover, but enact a counterattack as well.
Or atleast, this was the plan.
At the moment that Zeus prepared to stab Satan from behind before he could recover, he was filled with a mortifying sense of dread.
He started to flee immediately, but before he could get away a hand made from all of the stars in the sky suddenly snatched him up like he was a toy.
He was lifted up against his will and brought face-to-face with a very large and clearly upset Nyx.
Though why exactly she was doing this, he had no idea.
“N-Nyx!? What is the meaning of thi-”
“Do I require a reason to aid my friend when he needs it? And besides, as you can recall I’m not very fond of you.”
“T-This…!”
Zeus was absolutely horrified by this turn of events.
You could count the number of deities that Zeus actually fear on one hand, and Nyx just so happened to be number 2 on that very short list.
“Y-You would side against creation’s continued existence for that monster?! Look at the devastation he has wrought here!!”
“You will not belittle him in my presence.”
“AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!”
Nyx tightened her grip on Zeus’ electrified body and nearly snuffed him out of existence like a little candle.
“N-Nostos!!” Zeus finally let out a final desperate yell in Greek hoping to save his hide.
Miraculously, he disappeared into a column of blue energy and vanished from sight.
All that was left behind was a small brown bag with some glowing object sitting on the inside.
But Nyx didn’t know what it was, and she wasn’t satisfied that Zeus had fled.
‘Unscrupulous wretch, do you believe I dare not pull you from that ivory throne myself and-‘
“Nyx.” Abaddon called.
The giant goddess suddenly looked down at her palm where Abaddon was in a horrid condition.
She could see how tired he was, and that he wouldn’t be able to stay upright were it not for the support of the girls behind him.
“It is fine this way.” He said calmly. “I have waited a long time to kill the man who imprisoned my family… I can wait just a little longer if need be.”
Was Abaddon 100% okay with this? No.
But at the end of the day, he didn’t really have much choice in the matter.
He had no energy left to fight Zeus or anyone for that matter.
It was a pity, but he would have to wait a bit until he could finish everything that he started.
However, all was not totally lost.
He had accomplished his main objective at the very least.
Asgard had fallen, and the seat of power within the Norse faction would never be the same again.
‘I can also take comfort in knowing I’ve avenged someone dear to me…’
Abaddon’s eyes went to the ground, where Poseidon’s gold trident remained untouched.
Once he was properly rested, he figured that it was time he stopped avoiding his friend; if only to begin the conversation.
“…” Nyx stared at Abaddon for almost a full two minutes without saying a word, almost as if she were waiting for something.
“…Thank you for coming to help me.” he finally said.
“I’ll accept gratitude in the form of a one night stand or nothing at all.”
“Nothing it is then.”
“You are so cruel!”
Nyx returned to her normal size and let her group of mouthy little passengers rest on the ground.
Ayaana helped Abaddon to stand while Gulban shook his head at the widespread ruin in front of his face.
“I don’t suppose you’re going to undo this?”
“No.” Abaddon’s answer was instantaneous.
“How can you so callously disregard another man’s work like this?! Have you no respect for the time it took me to craft this place?!”
*Sigh*
With a mental command, Abaddon stopped the spread of the massive black hole from growing any further and prevented new ones from forming.
“Better?”
“…This is as good as it’s gonna get, huh?”
“Mhm.”
*Sigh*
Finally, Satan came towards the group in his normal appearance, plus an afro.
He warily stared at the two strangers who had arrived to save the day with a bit of anxiety.
Normally, he would have run wild and berated Nyx for stealing his prey before he was done, but one look at her told him that wouldn’t be a good decision to make.
Battle junkie though he may have been, no one could ever accuse him of being stupid.
Besides, the old man beside her wasn’t anything to sneeze at either.
He could feel it.
‘Perhaps I’ll ask for a spar later…’
“Satan!? What are you doing here!?” Ayaana cried in surprise.
“I know you, missy?” the demon tilted his head.
Ayaana temporarily split into her ten counterparts with Erica and Audrina standing in front.
“Not ringin a bell here…” Satan shrugged.
The girls shrank back down to the appearance they had before they became Nevi’im.
Miraculously, it was as if a light went off in Satan’s head.
“Bird bitch! Bat bitch!”
“”God fucking damnit…””
The two of them suddenly gave Abaddon a look like ‘Why is he alive?!’
“I’ll fill you all in later, but just know I wouldn’t have summoned him if I didnt require his aid. And he did indeed prove himself to be invaluable.”
“That’s right, so you’re not gonna send me back to that shitty nothingness, are you!?” Satan asked as he folded his arms proudly.
“No, I am.”
“WHAT!? You can’t do that, what kind of unfilial brat are you!?”
“You didn’t let me finish…” Abaddon wanted to rub his temples, but he was too damn tired to even lift his arms. “I’m going to send you back, but you can belay that by acting with some form of decency. My world is not the Red Lands, and I won’t have you trying to run rampant.”
Satan looked like he was unhappy with these stipulations, but there was nothing he could do.
Oblivion was terrifying.
There was nothing, absolutely nothing, that he would not do if it meant he wouldn’t be sent back.
“I… understand.”
Abaddon smirked. “Try not to look so depressed, Uncle. I’m not expecting you to be the kind of man who attends our Christmas parties. I know the perfect position for you where you can still live a warrior’s life and contribute to our society.”
At this, the demon seemed to perk up just a bit. “Alright, you got a deal! But don’t screw me on this or I’ll knock all that shit over!”
“And you will die again.”
“I-It was just a joke, jeez…”
Chuckling, the girls reformed themselves and started to help Abaddon get to his feet. “Come on, let’s get you home. Everyone’s worried sick.”
Abaddon smiled helplessly as the lot of them began looking for a door that was intact.
But because he was in the embrace of his most cherished wives and their calming presence, his weariness finally overtook him.
He ended up falling asleep while still upright; completely unaware that when he awoke he would be coming into a life that was just a little bit different from the one he was in now.
– 1 Month Later…
Abaddon wasn’t sure how long he had slept for, but he knew that it was on the longer side, even before he’d fully woken up.
Within his dreams, he was vaguely conscious, and he could hear two different voices speaking above him.
One he recognized instantly, and the other he didnt believe he’d ever heard before.
But then again, he could have just been sleep deprived still.
“Daddy’s been asleep for a long time…”
“Yea… B-But he’s exhausted, you know? They said that with the condition his body was in before he fought, and the burden he placed on himself during it, he’s got the equivalent of 1,000 years of strain placed on his body, even with his powers returned to him.”
“I don’t know if I understand all that, Big Sis…”
“Ah, r-right… just know that it makes perfect sense for Dad to be tired, so you don’t need to worry. He should wake up soon, but in the meantime let’s just keep spending time with him like this.Sound good?”
“I guess so…”
“Come on, don’t look so down… Hey, how about we take Bagheera and go riding later, what do you think?”
“That’s okay… I’d rather stay here with Daddy…”
“…You know what? Me too.”
Abaddon finally opened his three eyes and he let light fill his vision.
He groggily began to stir from underneath the covers, and when he did he became aware of the two respective weights lying on his chest.
“”Dad! / Daddy!!””
Once they realized he was awake, two young girls threw themselves at him all over again and knocked the wind out of his lungs.
One he recognized easily, because she was his beloved Courtney; still as adorable as ever and evidently just as sensitive too.
But the other girl was not one that he had ever seen before.
Or at least, he didn’t think he had?Gẹtt the l𝒂test 𝒏𝒐v𝒆ls at 𝒏.o/(v)/e/l/bi𝒏(.)co𝒎
She was around 17 years old with a very toned and muscular physique.
Her skin was a light coffee color, and she would be at least 6’2 when standing up straight.
On top of her head, she had a surplus of reddish-orange hair that travelled all the way to her waist and two small horns that would be relatively easy to miss.
Her eyes were almost exactly like his- golden and with slit pupils.
“W-Who.. are you?” Abaddon asked, ignoring his mild headache.
The strange girl looked at him worriedly as she raised a hand to his forehead. “Dad, are you feeling okay? It’s me, Thrudd!”
Abaddon’s jaw fell open.
“What!? Why’re you looking at me like that? I-If I gained weight, it’s only because Court and I have been stress eating!”
Courtney: “I don’t stress eat, I just eat.”
Thrudd: “Where is your sister solidarity?!”
Abaddon slowly held up one hand as the other rubbed his temples. “I’m sorry… Forgive me for asking, but who is your mother?”
Thrudd gave Abaddon a dry look. “Ha-Ha, Dad. Try not to let your ex-wife hear that joke or I think she might actually kill you.”
“M-My what now….?”
“Seriously, I know you said that chapter was closed, but she’s still holding out hope you know..? I hear her talk to Aunt Demeter about it a lot at home.”
“Uhhhhh….”
At that moment, the door swung open and a very familiar blonde-haired blue-eyed goddess stepped inside, but she looked a bit different from how Abaddon remembered her.
“Wow… I’ve gotta say, those wives of yours have some good intuition. All ten of them said they felt like you were going to wake up today, and I guess they were right.”
Abaddon blinked his eyes several times as he stared at Sif, because what he was seeing just didn’t make sense.
“What? W-Why’re you looking at me like that..?” Sif tried to hide her blush.
The Dragon God had absolutely no brain power in this moment, so he simply asked the first question on his mind.
“Did you… get bigger?”
Sif showed a smile that was not a smile as a vein began to bulge in her head.
As if Abaddon hadn’t been through enough surprises today, he watched Sif create a giant flail made of ice in her hand.
“I see you’re still in need of rest, since you clearly seem to be suffering from some kind of mental disability. I’ll be sure to make it so you can sleep for a millennia, YOU FUCKING DICKHEADD!!!”
