Forbidden Soul Cultivation - Chapter 5 Meeting

Fear struck everyone. Although they knew that Mark have already experienced those thing and has many ways to protect them. They couldn’t help but tremble by the thought of the worst scenarios, specially when the one they were against were their love ones.

“Don’t think too much for the time being. It would atleast take time for it to reach here. Let’s discuss this later and I will explain this to you all. First, could you please prepare the papers for my discharge. It feels annoying laying in bed without doing anything.”

Later at noon, Mark got discharge and they head straight to home.

After reaching home after 15 minutes. Mark inhaled deeply as he thought of how peaceful life could be. Living in the countryside with fresh air, green scenery, free clean water and even have the music of nature. Free from the chaos.

The house was 70 Square meters with second floor that brings the feeling of bieng old. This was blood and sweat of his mother.

This big family just came out from poverty. His mother was second from the eldest and was the first one who became a scholar. Working as a police officer. She supported all his siblings in thier schooling but sadly not all are fit into studying. Even though it’s like that, all of them are living a little bit than better than average wage earner. Back then, when her sibling don’t have thier own family yet, they all live together. It’s a happy scene to remember. Mark was the first born in the family and was more welcomed when the news about his father not taking responsibility of him and then go with other woman. Then what about his little sister? Her father was also like his but a little worst. A drunkard that lives off from his parents wealth that even have the guts to find other woman too. His mothers looks was above average and doesn’t have much fat on her body, then why? Is she really that unlucky? But it’s better this way.

Mark walk through the neighbourhood and keep thinking about on what happened at the hospital, about the blinding light. He need to discover this and experiment on it early tommorow. It’s really unexpected but it saves him from explaining to his family.

At the evening, when all of the kids were a sleep. The dining table was full of people with stern faces.

This is the Reign family. Grandpa Savier at the back most center seat behind him was Grandma Anita. From the right side starts from the eldest Imelda, she didn’t go to college because she knew that it is not her thing. Although not the most intelligent one in the crowd, she was very hard working and know a lot about animals because of her job as an environmentalist. Next is Mark’s mother, Cynthia. The third is Hener, big body built reaching 2 meters in height. A forest ranger, he is hardworking and and like those common loud and barbaric but approachable people. Next is Maria, although not that smart she is the best when it comes too cooking. Because Mama Cynthia is always busy at work she takes care of Mark throughout childhood even now when she already have her own family she still pampering him like her own son, she own a restaurant.

From the left side the fifth is Walford, a good talker and approachable man. Although he acts a little childish sometimes, it makes him more comfortable to talk to, he is the manager of the most famous hotel in the city. The next is Gordon, a man of few words and height fewer than average. Although he is like that, he has many friends willing to trust him because of his personality. He owns a 4s shop. The last is Rick, a little taller than average. He is a lively one, and it’s because he could connect with the teen of current generation. He is also a police officer.

Mark stands up as he said “Okay, let’s start”.
