“How is she?” Chairman Jiang asked the group of doctors he had called over to his house to check on Nana.
He had ordered them to escort Tan, in bringing Nana straight to his house where he had several doctors waiting to attend to her and Tan. Since he couldn’t leave the house because of his health, he wanted them under his roof where he could be assured of their safety.
“She is still in shock, but we gave her something to calm her down. But she will definitely be fine.” The senior doctor amongst them assured him. Nana had been crying so seriously by the time she regained consciousness that they had to administer a sedative.
“And my grandson in-law? How is his wound?” He asked in a worried tone. Tan’s wound had opened up and had been bleeding again by the time he walked into the house with an unconscious Nana on his arms.
“We cleaned it up. He will be fine too.” They assured him.
