Jin-A panicked when she opened the door to Detective Tae-oh’s hospital room the next morning but found the room empty. The bed was neatly laid out but there was no trace of him anywhere.
Did he die over the night? Did complications arise over the night? She wondered as she rushed over to the doctor’s office.
“Why isn’t detective Tae-oh in his room? Did something happen?” She asked without bothering to greet the doctor.
“Not at all. He said he didn’t like staying in the hospital for too long so he discharged himself and left.” The doctor told her.
“Why did you let him go just like that? What if something happens to him?” Jin-A asked with a worried frown.
“He is fine. I wouldn’t let him go if I so much as thought he wasn’t okay. Besides, his partner was with him.” The doctor assured Jin-A before leaving her to attend on his other duties.
