Forget Vivian - Chapter 13
In Samuel’s dream he became Vivian again.
It’s like telling Samuel what he did wrong.
It’s to curl up inside Vivian and watch what she thinks and why she decides to leave.
“Ha.”
As Vivian let out a light sigh, Lucia, who thought of her as a paper doll, ran to her.
Lucia said with deep eyes.
“I think you should go in now. The flowers will bloom tomorrow too, Your highness.”
“But today’s flowers can’t be seen tomorrow.”
At Vivian’s words, Lucia bit her lip.
“Today’s flower… Why is it important?”
“Lucia. Today is a pretty important day. It’s a rainy day, like today, when it doesn’t rain. Besides, the sky is beautiful and there is no wind. It can be said that this is a happy day.”
Vivian smiled softly and caressed the petals.
Petals being teased at her fingertips swayed in the sky.
“Today is my birthday. Who is doing this on their birthday! I want to eat cake with him and make a wish!”
Vivian laughed softly.
“Did you say that Samuel is busy today?”
“Yes! He’s really busy today. He said he couldn’t come?”
“Lucia, I’m not stupid.”
Vivian, who couldn’t win at Lucia’s refinement, got up, brushing her ass.
“Did Natalia Silaria called you today too? You go there every day.”
“That… that…. She said she’d be back early today. Really.”
“Is Natalia really going to be the Empress?”
“No way! His highness didn’t say anything like that.”
Lucia comforted Vivian.
Vivian turned the parasol that Lucia had held in her hand.
It was like a dandelion spore flying through the sky, and Vivian stared at it for a while without saying a word.
“Just because he doesn’t talk, doesn’t mean he doesn’t do what he should be doing. To you, he may be just the Crown Prince, but to me he is my husband… Samuel doesn’t know my heart too well.”
Vivian laughed painfully.
At Vivian’s voice that sighed deeply, Lucia strangled Vivian with a pale face.
“I scolded the chef to bake the most delicious cake in the world. Today, His Majesty told us not to post approval, so there is nothing to do! His Majesty didn’t forget the crown princess’s birthday.”
“Birthday doesn’t matter, Lucia.”
Vivian said in a voice mixed with sighs.
“Just… My heart is important.”
“It’s raining, oh lord!”
“I’m fine. Shall we go in and eat cake?”
Lucia, who was hesitating not knowing what to say, struggled to smile.
“… Also, Your Highness Rain is kind.”
“Yes, Lucia.”
“Yes?”
Vivian spoke out like a grudge at the gentle voice.
Her face, shaded by a white parasol, seemed to cry for some reason.
“Aren’t I pretty?”
“Yes? Where in the world is there a person as pretty as my crown princess?”
Vivian laughed softly.
“But in Samuel’s eyes, it doesn’t seem like that anymore. I thought I had run out of my beauty again.”
Vivian moved lightly, rubbing her cheek playfully.
The name of the palace where Vivian’s favorite evening primrose was in full bloom was Luna.
There is a large lake inside the palace with the name of the moon.
A round moon was placed in the center of the blue lake as if the moon was being confined.
It was beautiful with the evening primroses blooming around the lake.
“Will Samuel come back tonight? He promised me before we got married.”
Vivian spoke in a voice that seemed to pass by.
“He said that he would definitely look after the evening primrose together on my birthday. It will bloom beautifully tonight.”
“Sure. He’ll be back soon. It’s because he’s gone because he had a job with the Duke of Silaria.”
But that day, Vivian spent her first birthday alone after marriage.
With evening primrose flowers and a bouquet of apologies from Samuel.
Neither the pretty evening primroses nor the summer season that Vivian liked were any comfort.
A bouquet of flowers from Samuel fell at Vivian’s feet.
Like Vivian’s disappointed heart.
“I think it would have been better than now if I had worked as usual and moved as planned. Right?”
Seeing Vivian who was still smiling, Lucia let out a sad sigh.
***
“Ugh!”
Samuel jumped up.
He gasped for breath and rubbed his neck.
Tears soaked his face and even the pillow was wet.
“Haah.”
Samuel took a deep breath and ruffled his hair.
“Ha ha ha ha ha…”
A sad laugh flowed out.
“You are the worst, Samuel Rubentas.”
This would have been just a trigger.
When Samuel left Vivian.
No matter how urgent it was, it was Vivian’s birthday, and as a husband, I had to keep at least a promise.
Samuel jumped up.
My heart was pounding and my head was dizzy.
Even if you want to go back, the time that has already passed will not come back.
Even if you realize your mistake later, it will be too late.
Samuel, who was walking around the room, slumped down on a chair.
“At least you… You shouldn’t have done that.”
The one who made Vivian the most lonely was none other than Samuel, himself.
Besides, did she know about Natalia?
I definitely thought it was done carefully.
‘Haah’
A bitter smile bloomed.
Samuel realized two reasons in one dream why Vivian was thinking of leaving him.
It was the day I should have stayed by Vivian’s side no matter how much I had to get from Natalia Silaria.
I’ve been trying for weeks to win Natalia’s favor, so I can’t help it…
It’s only for Vivian, so if she finds out later, I’m sure she’ll understand…
‘That’s my decision. Not Vivian.’
A deep regret overcame Samuel as to why he had not asked her for forgiveness and thought.
“It’s really bad.”
Vivian, who had endured for three years with such a guy, felt worse again.
Samuel closed his eyes.
‘Your Highness Samuel, happy birthday. Ah, I still think respectful words are awkward.’
‘You don’t have to.’
‘But if I do it in front of others…. I hate to even imagine. I’m glad we were able to celebrate your birthday together again this year. I really liked being together. Will you be with me on my birthday too? Evening primrose… Haven’t you forgotten?’
Vivian’s innocent face, which had been squeezing cutely, was formed on her retina.
In Samuel’s memory, Vivian was smiling most of the time, but he spent the rest of his time alone like that.
I realize now.
Maybe this is the punishment Vivian gives.
The past
Arianne, who was looking outside the store with her arms crossed, frowned.
Eve, who was looking at Arianne’s face reflected in the shop window, sneaked up behind her.
Lately, it seems that Arianne’s time to meditate has increased. Probably because of Eve herself.
If possible, I want to present a smile to those who will be very sick after she leaves.
I didn’t want to see Arianne with a face like that.
Eve laughed softly. Then she whispered into Arianne’s ear.
“What are you doing right now?”
“Hmm.”
“Why, Arianne? What’s wrong with you?”
Arianne shook her head as if nothing had happened, and said.
“Oh, no. Did you take any medicine?”
It was Estella who answered Arianne’s question.
Raise your right hand and say it out loud.
“Yes! I made sure she was taking her medicine!”
Estella jumped up and burst into laughter.
“Estella, I told you to put the puppy down!”
Arianne pointed out to Estella.
Carrying a puppy with her all day is unacceptable.
“Huh! Is it because Mary doesn’t like Arianne? Mary only likes me!”
Mary is the name of the white dog she brought from Juliet’s house.
Estella said softly.
Arianne glared at Estella with burning eyes.
Mary revealed this and threatened Arianne.
“Hey, you guys are funny.”
Estella hid behind Eve’s skirt at Arianne’s bruise.
“Be quiet, both of you! The guests are eating.”
Eve dried them both.
It was lunch time and the restaurant was full of people.
Now Eve was just out of the hall to check if people were eating well as the chef.
Arianne and Estella both shut their mouths at the same time at Eve’s blunt words.
“Estella, will be quiet. Sorry.”
“Arianne?”
“Okay, I was wrong.”
Arianne mumbled, scratching her head.
Then Eve smiled brightly and stroked their heads.
“Both did well. Estella, can you go up and get Mary lunch?”
“Yes! Estella can do well.”
“Can Mary be good too?”
“Bark!”
Mary barked cutely, sticking out her tongue and shivering.
Eve looked at it and patted Estella on the back.
Estella went up to the house with Mary, and Eve tapped Arianne’s arm.
“Why are you here?”
“Huh?”
“No. It’s like I’m staring blankly out the window.”
“That is….”
Arianne frowned and looked outside, then suddenly ran away.
