*Unknown Time
I don’t remember much of anything, nothing but darkness the day I recognized my own consciousness. I’m not sure if I was the beginning of time, or if time began before me.
What I do know is that the day I came to be, the thought of being alone frightened me. As I saw the endlessness of darkness stretch around me, I created what is known as galaxies, to bring beauty into the nothingness of space, and in those galaxies, planets.
Yet, none of those things could talk to me. I was still alone. I decided to create beings like myself, those that could will things into creation with their own elements. They became known as the Gods, and I was the Supreme God, their creator, their Father.
They helped me to create the life that would fill the planets, but it still wasn’t enough. They seemed only capable of doing my bidding, so I created another. Those with a will to choose to serve me, to love me. They named themselves homosapien, but I called them mankind.
As they began to grow, and create, and fill the earth, I began to walk alongside them, adoring them. However, one particular human was my favorite.
Emiya, the most beautiful of them all. Unfortunately, not all of my creations had used their free will with the best of intentions, and instead plotted to harm her.
As death began to overtake her, I decided I did not want her to leave my side. With the energy that created my fellow gods, I gave to Emiya at her death, creating the first ever angel.
My children were upset with me, but one in particular despised my new creation. Sora, my first son. He could not understand how I could love any being more so than him self, and his anger and frustration began to consume him.
“Why’re you doing this dad?!” Sora asked me.
“Because, my love knows no bounds, and I will do whatever I can to make sure what I love survives.”
“But, she doesn’t deserve this. She is not worthy!”
“And who are you to tell me, the God of Creation, that she is not worthy?! She will sit at my side in the heavens, that is final!”
Sora looked at me, and for the first time I saw what humans called hate in his eyes.
“You will come to regret this!”
With millennia passing us by, I soon came to be dethroned by my discontent child. Using the fruit of the forbidden tree, Sora gave Emiya the fruit to make me a meal. When I ate of the fruit, it depleted half my energy, storing it around the earth, and stole my memory.
My son had killed me, of course not in the physical sense. He then cast me from the heavens, forcing me to become an infant and be raised by one of my human creations, until I could build up the strength to once again rule the heavens.
I, Daichi Akemi, am Kano, the Dragon God of Creation.
