Forsaken Worlds - Chapter 12 Dunno 2
Aima’s soul went through the greatest change, her originally black soul fire began emitting a red and black mist ring around itself, forming a sort of small field with a number of even smaller floating fires attached to herself, her soul fire itself also changing colors from black to having several bits of blood red fire at the bottom.
Noku’s fire also went through a change, the color becoming an even purer white, above it formed the image of a wolf on the hunt, the image then took a look around it and soon moved within the fire, closing its eyes and appearing to be resting within the snow white fire.
Foren to changed, his fire already split into several pieces had at some point recollected the essence from the several skeletons he created as well as the golem, his fire then splitting into five pieces, one mini sun like fire in the center with the other smaller fires floating around it like sentries.
All together after this the orbits of the three fires changed as well, Aima’s fire instead of orbiting around Noku and Foren’s now orbited with their fires becoming the third in the orbit turning it from a binary orbit to a trinary orbit.
Noku’s Wolf image opened one eye and looked around it, the mist around Aima and sentries around Foren also seemed to be looking around the place, the mist around Aima sending out strands of mist near the other two soul fires, and the sentries around Foren’s fire sending out smaller fires to check out everything.
The image of the wolf within Noku’s soul fire then closed its one eye and went back to sleep a slight smile on his face, the mist and sentries also when back to being immobile at about the same time, their guard towards each other clearly much lowered.
While these three were feeling out these changes inside their minds the outside world had undergone a big transformation.
—-
Somewhere in the distance a pair of silver eyes looked at the three, with the formation so weak and the other two unconscious while they fought and absorbed Jarxus soul the pair of silver eyes flu down and picked up Noku and Foren, placing them inside the mansion, then picking up the unconscious Aima and placing her next to the other two on the bed in the main room.
Taking one last look at the house the creature with silver eyes left leaving nothing but thin air where it once stood.
—–
Elsewhere within a dump the creature within the blood pool opened its eyes releasing a furious aura scaring everything within five miles.
“Marx, Kurun! GET HERE THIS INSTANT!!” The creature boomed, bursting out of the blood pool releasing its evil aura.
—–
Besides these two beings several others both humans and non-humans had also heard the voices and sounds of battle also having seen the descent of the massive fireball and while most fled many who had heard the human voice decided to make the trek in search of salvation, though never discarding the caution and wariness involved in making the trek.
One day later, the formation had regained a large portion of its prior strength creating the fifty undying blood soldier troop automatically, yet still the three slept.
Another day passed and the formation had not only regained its prior power but also become stronger and along with it the blood soldiers went up a tier in power.
On the third day was when the three finally awoke from their power induced slumber.
“Arghhh, my head feels like someones been using it as a pinata.” Noku said, rubbing the spot on his head where Jarxus had hit him, his eyes narrowing in pain.
“Urggghh.” Foren couldn’t even speak and directly threw up all over the side of the bed holding his stomach his eyes watering from the smell.
“The magic consumption from that as well as the sudden boost in strength is gonna cause us to be out of it for a few hours but after that we should be fine.” Aima said, standing on wobbly legs.
“You’ve matured once again Aima, and you too Noku you’ve gotten bigger.” Saying so Foren wiped the vomit from his mouth his face blushing from embarrassment.
“Hahaha!” To this the other two laughed just making him blush harder.
Though the two laughed they also didn’t forget to process his words and looked at themselves as well as each other.
Aima had turned from a middle schooler into a high schooler type body, her entire figure well tuned towards the speed attribute, slender legs and arms, skin like newly fallen snow, her hair falling down to her waist, not a single curl visible despite having just gotten out of bed, her eyes deeper than before, a certain nimbleness hiding within.
Noku had become taller, going from his previous height to being five meters tall, easily able to rival a truck going at a hundred miles per hour in terms of muscle power. His muscles had each become more compact than before by a few times, his fur a glossier red, reflecting beautifully against the morning sun.
Foren however hardly changed, his skin become glossier making his skin look soft and smooth, his muscles now more firm and more compact doing nothing for his manly look, his hair having grown longer and his height getting a little taller at five ten, his only significant change being his eyes, becoming deeper, containing a strong pull hidden within.
Overall the three received transformation that would have been massive in normal times.
“So who brought us inside?” Foren asked, getting over his embarrassment looking at the two with gratitude in his eyes.
“Yeah who was it?” Aima said, her voice curious after realizing this point, looking towards Noku.
“It wasn’t me.” He said looking towards the other two confusion clear.
“Then who brought us in?” At this moment their three voices overlapped as Aima turned into her bone form and scanned everything within the formation.
Noku started sniffing the air for foreign scents to try and catch a tail while Foren started casting tracking magic in the room to see if he could find any clues as to who or what dropped them here.
“I’ve got nothing.” Aima said, her voice sounding nervous.
I can see everything here in this formation with perfect detail but I can’t find so much as a clue that someone came in? How powerful is this creature? She thought.
“Same.” Noku said, putting all his senses to the max, strands of fear apparent in his eyes.
I can’t smell it and there’s no sign of their ever so much a being a fly in this room, even after getting so much stronger, just what helped us?
“I second that.” Foren said, his voice sounding more excited than anything.
Why wont this magic work! The being must have some sort of anti tracking magic, but it still helped us so it should be friendly, I’ll have to research into tracking more if I want to break through this sort of magic. His thoughts leaning towards excitement because of the new kind of magic.
“Either way though this being is friendly so it really doesn’t matter if we find it or not since it will probably come back of its own volition.” Following up on his statement Foren said out his thoughts seeking out their opinions.
“That’s right, we’re being silly, it saved us so let’s respect its privacy.” Noku said first.
“Though we will respect its privacy we still have a long way to go even if we wanted to violate it.” Aima said sounding sour at being unable to track the being that helped them.
“Oh, and you guys wont believe what happened with my soul!” Aima said, starting to talk about how she was now in their orbit.
Over the course of the next few minutes they each talked about the changes in their own soul fires and about how each of them felt now.
“I think we should build traps and walls around the village to give more protection against this sort of assault.” First to suggest something was Foren who was looking out the window at the village below, his eyes changing from warm and inquisitive to looking cold as the abyss at the mention of traps.
“I agree, but we also have to rebuild the inside of the village, everything within a few miles radius will have felt that explosion, and god knows for how far it was seen.” Noku was next to put in his own views.
“Then we first build up the defenses and then rebuild the interior, what’re we going to use for walls and traps?” Aima said, chiming in at the end.
With a snap of her fingers just outside the window in full view of everyone two hundred blood soldiers formed each one more powerful than the previous edition looking more solid than before.
“With these new soldiers we can use stone, each of them are twice as powerful as before and their numbers are four times more, their ranks swelling, if those skeletons attacked now I could defeat the entire group alone using these two hundred soldiers.” Saying so Aima proudly pushed her chest out making for a charming scene.
“Then let’s make it stone.” With a soft smile looking at her Foren said so.
Lifting her arm and snapping her fingers the blood soldiers extended their wings and headed one of the craters at the edge of the village, using their strength they started ripping the crater open soon reaching stone, to which they then started making the crater bigger to accommodate more workers.
A moment later the blood soldiers all backed away from the crater and Foren’s golem came lumbering over the ground shaking with each step and with one swing shattered a crater wall to pieces, then picking up the biggest piece it threw it up.
“Thump!” And with a loud sound the boulder landed cracking into four pieces, at this point Noku’s wolves came over, the blood soldiers strapped them with ropes and they started pushing while the blood soldiers themselves also helped to push the absurdly large rocks towards the black smith where Aima had placed several Blood soldiers in order to carve the rocks.
Just like this the entire village started bustling with activity.
“Ill go and summon skeletons, we’ll need them as patrols and defense while our main force works.” Saying so he left, heading towards the field where the skeletal horde once stood using their bones to make new skeletons.
“I’ll go out and patrol the area.” Noku spoke next heading out behind Foren.
“WAIT!” Aima shouted, her voice filled with anger, running up to the two.
“Wha…?” Turning around the two suddenly felt themselves stuck in an embrace with Aima binding the two in her embrace, blood holding them in place.
“We nearly died and you two want to separate already!?!? It’s too dangerous! Stay with me I’ll take care of everything!” Blood red tears falling from her eyes she held the two tight, her grip surprisingly strong, the blood around them tightening.
At this the two were stunned, and then they looked into each others eyes, the same emotion reflecting in each others eyes, regret.
We should have realized, we left her for a week after she was born, then we used that tactic and basically made her watch as we ‘died’ and now we are leaving again. The exact same line of thought ran through both of their minds.
“Aima, were family right?” Foren said, patting her head, his voice warm like a summers day.
“So stop crying, were not going anywhere.” Noku said finishing the sentence by rubbing his head against cheek, licking away her tears.
“We…family?” She said in between sobs.
“Yes, were family.” The two responded at the same time, their eyes going soft like the eyes of someone looking at their long lost family.
Catching each others eyes the two slightly nodded to each other.
“If were family, we should have a family name.” Noku said, backing out of her loosened grip.
“Why don’t you choose a family name of us.” Backing out of her embrace Foren followed up.
“Then…Then we should… be called something good that we all like.” She said managing to suppress her sobbing long enough to get out a proper sentence, her voice completely clearing up by the end.
“Then what do you think?” Noku said.
“A family name? Um, uh, well we are all technically apart of the evil side of the power spectrum, so Malum? maybe? what do you all think.” Aima said her voice sounding unsure.
“I like it, let’s go with that then.” Foren said.
“Then let’s roll with that.” Noku too said agreeing.
“Then from now on, I, Aima, will be called Aima Malum.” Aima said her voice happy, looking towards the other two.
“And I, Foren, Will now to be called Foren Malum.” Foren said.
“I, Noku, will now be called Noku Malum.” Finally Noku spoke, his head tilted to the sky.
After saying so the entire village seemed to stop and look towards the three, watching, waiting.
Foren cast his soul blades and tore open his palm, letting the blood drip onto the ground in between the three of them, “On my blood I swear this.”
Noku soon followed suit, “I swear on my blood.” his eyes turning a new color of resolution.
Aima then did the same, slicing open her palm using a blood blade, “I swear to hold this name, Malum, for eternity, or let my blood rot for all eternity.”
On this day the trio was born, Foren, Noku, and Aima Malum, historians would record this day as a turning point.
