Gallery for Loners After Demise - Chapter 4
Ep.4 Moderator – 1
I was sleepy while reading the tips post, but when I came to my senses, I already slept for 8 hours.
“It’s been a long time since I had a good night’s sleep.”
There have been a few nights that I haven’t slept well since I was in distress on Mars, and I thought it was thanks to the hearty meal of chicken. Or I might be living while losing my mind and calming down by the scent of something similar to a person in the gallery.
“All right, it’s chicken this morning, too.”
Even though the chickens are good, it was physically impossible for me to eat two chickens in a meal. After simply heating up about half of the chicken left, I turned on the gallery as if it was a habit to use it daily.
“?”
For some reason, the gallery’s atmosphere was pretty noisy when I went in this morning. Well, come to think of it, it’s morning here, but I don’t know about other places. Is the concept of time the same as here? Even Mars and Earth are completely different in the same length of a day, but by this time of the world, isn’t it possible that a day can be 48 hours or time can flow three times more than here?
I put aside the rising questions for a moment, and I began to figure out what the hell happened to the gallery. When I was a newbie, I wasn’t this loud, but it was so noisy I wondered if something bad happened.
[I want to destroy that bastard] [3]
[If you miss ‘Justice of Light’, should I press like?][56]
[What are you doing not doing moderator work?ㅡㅡ] [2]
[My eyes are really filled with darkness, you bitch]
At first glance, the gallery was not in a heavenly atmosphere. Rather, there was a mess of anger, irritation, disgust, and resentment. In this case, I should ask and see anything, not get stuck in the bait without knowing it. I posted a question as a humble newbie.
[Writer: ㅇㅇ(001.068)]
[Title: What’s happening now? The newbie is lost right now.]
[It’s my second day since I joined the gallery. Can someone explain the situation?]
It was so confusing that one new post came up every three seconds, but surprisingly, my question was not buried and the comments began to run one by one. Despite the unusually fast flow of the interactions, the pros who caught the smell of a fresh newbie came. As expected, being in a gallery is not an easy task.
[ㅇㅇ(114.603): Jonglin, listen carefully. Don’t just click on anything]
[Please Let Me Eat New Thing Every Day*: The filthy dark servant has poisoned the gallery! Oh my god!! It’s blasphemy!]
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): Let me explain briefly. One person is filming a funny Mad Movie right now for aggro. Be careful to not get nasty pictures.]
[Sekmusae*: Sek sad…]
ㄴ[ㅇㅇ: If even this brat is disappointed, what kind of picture did you spread?]
ㄴ[Sekmusae* : (Frog sweating meme)]
The answers to the question post were rough as follows. They said that one of the interested people residing in the gallery all day entered the Goroshi moderator with all kinds of trouble.
[Tip. What is ‘moderator’?]
[It refers to the managers who voluntarily took charge of gallery’s management among Gonick users. In terms of school, it can be considered as a position corresponding to the student department. Fixed-nick users who are in charge of administrators are usually called blue tickets, or pattak, because the * the mark next to the static is blue. Also, the moderator, which is in charge of the management of the gallery, is called Juttak because * the mark is orange
[Tip. What is ‘Goroshi’?]
[It refers to the act of maliciously slandering or making certain users of the gallery in trouble. There are various reasons for doing goroshi, but it can be said that it is generally to screw the other person or attract the attention of the gallery. It is in line with the ‘sniper’ that exposes someone’s fault, but it can be seen that the ‘Goroshi’ that bothers the other in various indirect ways other than direct disputes is used as a more comprehensive concept.]
[‘Goroshi'(殺し) means ‘killing’ in Japanese. Originally, it was a minor term in the otaku affiliation used by only a small number of users among those from the earth, but it quickly became a common term in the gallery due to the texture and clarity of the word.]
That person argued with the moderator without fear. I tilted my head to the more unknown ecology of the gallery and posted an additional question.
[Writer: 001.068)]
[Title: So a troublemaker is going crazy because a moderator is calling him out?]
[Then why can’t they just block him?]
Didn’t I get a chicken as a gift yesterday and eat a minute block from the moderator while leaving comments of gratitude? Can’t they just block him permanently if there are troubles? Why are they just sitting there and watching the gallery get to this point?
My question was solved immediately by the friendly long-time users.
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): It’s not that they don’t block him, it’s useless to do it. There’s no answer if you just block the guy because they’re selling new accounts indefinitely through VPN.]
[ㅇㅇ(001.124): If they restrict the mobile activities to catch him, only irrelevant users die. Guys like me.]
[Suspiciously Rich*: One person who wasn’t as good as before hung a 16-digit code and almost blew up that day.]
ㄴ[ㅇㅇ(001.124): Of course. Fuck, imagine that you need to type a single-use 16-digit code every time you write a comment. All the shared-nick are going to die]
ㄴ[ㅇㅇ(114.603): It’s not like he’s not terrorizing me with nasty pictures hahaha. You just have to wait. What else can you do?]
I couldn’t help but admire the attitude of the long-time users who seemed to have already mastered it. Unlike other young children who played with troubles, twisted their bodies, and cursed, they smelled of fossils that were just standing still.
[Writer: ㅇㅇ(001.068)]
[Title: I understand that they can’t block him, but what’s wrong with him?]
[If you want to get attention, you just have to terrorize with nasty pictures. Why would he kill the moderator? Did they not get along well?]
As I said, if he just wanted to drag an aggro, shouldn’t he just spread out nasty pictures? Why did he have to pick a fight with a moderator? Does he have any personal grudge?
However, the answers given by the long-time users were simply something that was completely beyond my expectations.
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): There’s no particular grudge between the two… He doesn’t have any…]
[ㅇㅇ(114.603): Should I say it’s the opposite?]
[ㅇㅇ(001.124): Simply put, Juttaks are like Batman, and troublemakers are like Joker. They’re protesting to get Juttaks to comes out. I mean, in this case, courtship sounds more appropriate?]
“…???”
Their comments only made me more confused. The gallery users gave me a more detailed explanation as I was pinging countless hooks.
[Suspiciously Rich*: Troll, fixed ID ‘The Lord of Darkness’ㅡ or Dark Lord for short.
He was a famous user in the gallery. He spent his time in the gallery all day long enough to say that he had lived his life in the gallery.]
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): We’re also stuck in the gallery all day, but couldn’t compare to him. Without having time to eat and sleep, he literally spent 24 hours in the gallery.]
[ㅇㅇ(114.603): Most of the gallery users spend all their free time in the gallery because they simply have time. But he didn’t even need to eat, sleep or poop, you know. Because he’s not a person, he’s a devil.]
What? Did I hear it wrong? A devil? The one that goes around and terrorize with nasty pictures in the gallery?
[ㅇㅇ(001.124): It’s unbelievable that he’s the devil, right? Honestly, I didn’t see it myself, so I feel you.]
[A Passing Scholar*: He was a lot better than I thought at the time. He was usually a gentleman who would post small talk or tips on magic research. He didn’t do anything like spamming or terrorizing with nasty pictures.]
So why the hell is he being like that now?
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): He was just a normal user except that he spent time on the gallery all day, but when a new fixed ID appeared, he started to go completely nuts.]
ㄴ[ㅇㅇ(001.068): I bet that person is a juttak now.]
ㄴ[ㅇㅇ(023.708): Yeah. Ever since the present juttak, ‘Justice of Light’, joined the gallery, Dark Lord began to follow her around. When Justice of Light uploaded a post, Dark Lord would leave a comment, and if Justice of Light left a comment, Dark Lord would reply to her comment.]
Dark Lord followed ‘Justice of Light’ around like a stalker, but they said that ‘Justice of Light’ didn’t show much interest. There was a high chance that she had blocked Dark Lord. Then one day, when ‘Justice of Light’ got appointed as a moderator, Dark Lord came up with an amazing idea.
‘If she shows no interest, why don’t I just bully until I get one?’
Thanks to his demonic idea, Dark Lord immediately began to mess around in all kinds of creative ways. But only when there’s no juttak around.
[Thatstoomuch*: They usually do goroshi when the other person is online in the gallery. If the other person shows some reaction, you can keep teasing and scratching his or her nerves, or you can unilaterally beat the other person if she or he doesn’t resist. It’s meaningless to make a fuss when the other person isn’t there]
[ㅇㅇ(023.708): But that guy… He acted the other way around. If there’s no juttaks around, he will mess around, but once one appears, he will disappear like nothing happened.]
[ㅇㅇ(001.124): It’s like Joker setting Batman’s mark afloat in the sky. ‘If you don’t come soon, Gotham will be in a mess’ something like that.]
[Suspiciously Rich*: It’s not that kind of crime based on any grudges. If he really hated the opponent, he would try to kick the other person out of the gallery, not calling her out. This is rather…]
[Sekmusae*: It’s love! Eros! Libido! Sex!]
As I was dumbfounded and horrified by the crazy principle of behavior, someone whispered.
[ㅇㅇ: Hey, look over there. The ‘heroine’ is comingㅡ]
When I refreshed the gallery as I saw the short comment, a new hot notice was posted.
[Writer: Justice of Light*]
[Title: I’m going to take full control from now on]
[Words that don’t fit the theme of the gallery or that create an unspecified number of hate will be deleted without warning.]
There is one comment registered almost at the same time as the announcement in the announcement announcing the launch of Tiananmen Gate.
[The Dark Lord* : (Appraisal to the moderator)]
Seeing the real madness, I totally lost my mind.
