Game In Middle Earth - Chapter 27.
The next day Aldarion woke up, but he did not get out of bed quickly, as he would have done any other day. To begin with, he did not have any more lessons and, besides, he was a little reluctant about what happened the night before.
He began to observe his room and realized that on the table there was a tray of food with what appeared to be a note folded in half.
Aldarion snorted and got out of bed, ready to eat breakfast and try to do something to spend the day.
As he approached the table, he picked up the note, unfolded it and read the contents.
“When I entered the room you were still sleeping, so I decided to leave you the tray of food and not wake you up. You deserve to rest.
The King has asked me to tell you that, since you do not have any more lessons, you can leave whenever you want. You can also stay here if it is what you want. There are still more books in the library that you have not read yet.”
When Aldarion finished reading it he snorted again, folded the note again and threw it on the table. Then he sat down in the chair next to the table and prepared to eat.
While he was eating he thought about what he should do. On the one hand, if he wanted to continue respecting Erumre’s decision, he could not say anything against her wishes, so it was best to leave and start his adventures. But, on the other hand, his heart asked him to be close to her.
In the end Aldarion made the decision to stay and take advantage of the last moments that were left with her. In addition, he could also continue studying books in the library and the quiet environment in Colinas de la Torre is very beneficial to start studying the cultivation method of ‘The Wrath of Ecthelion’.
When he finished eating Aldarion went to the library and he was reading a book about administration and another about military strategies. The latter liked it better because after all the book talked about battles of the past and he liked that.
In the afternoon he went to the parade ground and sat on a stone in meditation position. He pulled out the book that contained all the information about the cultivation technique. At that very moment the system spoke.
“Ding! The user is in possession of the cultivation method manual ‘The Wrath of Ecthelion’. Do you want to learn it? ”
“Yes” – Aldarion did not think twice and said yes to the system.
Instantly, the manual became a crimson light and shot in the middle of his eyebrows. Suddenly, his conscience was dragged into a blood-red battlefield.
A red sun, withered grass, cold air and the smell of blood that filled the nostrils.
Aldarion knew from his previous life about Ecthelion. This must be the last battle in which he participated and died.
On the battlefield, the sound of swords clashing, the whistling of arrows, the roars of the orcs…
In the vast field two huge armies clashed with each other, one white and one black. Upon closer inspection, the armies were disproportionate. The black side had four times more troops than the white army.
Even so, the massacre on the battlefield was divided extremely uniformly. This was because among the white army there was a warrior who stood out above the others. The aura of the warrior boiled around him while he killed all the orcs that stood before him.
When the blade of the sword shone, a head fell to the ground. In fact, he began practicing his sword arts in the middle of the battlefield.
“1st, killing life!”
The warrior spoke calmly, advancing with his sword. He simply killed an orc with a horizontal attack.
“2nd, killing soldiers!”
He did not retract the blade that he cut down, while cutting to another orc soldier. Before the orc could react, the warrior had cut his throat.
“3rd, killing sergeants!”
The warrior seemed insensible to killing, expressionless. It was as if he had found a home in this chaos. With a side step and a block, he stopped the growing blade of the enemy sergeant. He pushed it up and, before the sergeant could react, the warrior stabbed him in the chest.
The sharp sword pierced the orc’s armor directly and embedded itself in the sergeant’s heart.
“4th, killing generals!”
When the sergeant died, a black-faced enemy general blocked the warrior. The enemy wore a black armor and an immense ax. His aura was extremely strong. With one look, one would know that it was not easy to deal with him.
The warrior kept his face expressionless. The sword in his hand moved in increasingly complex ways. The sword arts used to be the most basic. However, now there were many changes. The long sword stopped and blocked, cut and cut, leaving Aldarion dazzled.
The warrior screamed. Exerting all his strength, he directly broke the ax of the enemy in two, the sword passed by. In one fell swoop the orc general died.
When Aldarion saw this movement, his blood boiled. As expected from the technique a blow and a posture. Nothing to show. Everything was just to kill the enemy.
“5th, killing onerself!”
When the warrior began practicing the fifth blow, Aldarion felt extremely confused. – ‘Killing oneself? Would he really commit suicide? That seemed quite contradictory!’
Suddenly, the warrior turned the sword and aimed at his abdomen. The sword sank through his body and did not stop, directly piercing an orc general.
Aldarion was illuminated. The so-called suicide was a move to inflict the greatest damage, while paying the lowest price.
To do this movement one needs an exquisite control over the position of the enemy and the sword, otherwise you would die.
“6th, killing all life!”
The warrior drew the sword from his own body. Blood splashed everywhere, but he did not even frown.
Observing the battle, although the warrior was strong, his army did not have an advantage, and the enemy slowly weakened them.
The middle-aged general laughed coldly and waved his sword. This unimportant movement caused a colossal change. Lightning fell from the vast sky.
Then, the thirst for blood and the intention to kill the warrior’s sword formed a luminous blade, killing all life. In an instant, more than ten orcs fell.
When Aldarion saw this movement, his eyebrows tensed. This movement was something he could not understand. – ‘What kind of movement was that? The warrior used the murderous aura of his sword to create an intention to kill without form. It was like the action of a god.’
Unfortunately, the warrior did not plan to explain things to him. He only showed the movement. Whether Aldarion could understand it or not depended on his own ability.
“7th, killing spirit!”
The warrior did not stop. He eliminated all enemies around him and charged the enemy commander directly, killing anyone who dared to block his path.
The huge army could not even stop him. Wherever he passed, the bodies fell and the blood flowed like a river.
Aldarion realized that as the warrior advanced his sword changed. For each enemy defeated the energy within the sword increased, but unlike the previous movement, the warrior did not release this energy.
Soon the warrior arrived in front of the enemy commander. A demon three meters tall, his body was a mixture of fire and shadows, and also held a huge ax fire.
Aldarion identified him as soon as he saw it. The enemy commander was none other than the leader of the Barlogs, Gothmog.
The warrior charged the enemy commander with great agility and at the moment that the ax of Gothmog was going to cut him from above, the warrior dodged at the last second.
The warrior kept advancing, preventing Gothmog from reacting and allowing the warrior to stab him. – “Death of the Devil!”
A wound like that would not do any harm to a demon like Gothmog, but in that instant, the energy accumulated in the warrior’s sword was released into the body of the Balrog, causing it to explode inside.
Aldarion realized that this was the final movement of the technique. The warrior had merged the final attack with the seventh move.
The seventh movement was based on the speed and dexterity used to reach the enemy commander while killing all enemies in his path.
“The Wrath of Ecthelion…” – Aldarion murmured…
