Gamemaster’s System - Chapter 11 Clear Minds 011
Adrian talked with the System quite a bit as it questioned him about this specifics of the old NPC. It was going to be the main NPC that the player would interact with on a very often basis. The NPC was an old man that would help guide the player as they try and reach a calm state and cultivate.
For this game, the main goal was to achieve ultimate calmness and thinking while making cognitive function better. The player will become smarter and think a lot less on a biased basis. Adrian thought that the game would also help him become calmer when playing and creating games.
With how this game was going to have to look calming, he let the System help him create such an atmosphere. He held his staff and, with a wave, he transformed the very simplistic world to something with great detail.
He suddenly remembered that it was early in the year and that he could always do seasons. He was mainly remembering the warm and humid summertime. He allowed to mainly do everything because there wasn’t much that he knew about organics. The all-knowing System was able to pull off the effect effortlessly.
Adrian smiled as he ran through the game as the player. This game, Clear Minds, was perfect to him. It was very charming and calming with the state of mind. “Young one, it seems that the path of a cultivator of the mind is right for you. I believe that under my guidance in this beautiful garden, you will become stronger, not physical, but mental.
“You may experience hardships when training. However, I will be here for guidance in this delicate art and in the case of you hurting me, I will hurt you with equal force. If this repeats for too long, I will halt your training and make you learn that harm is not something that is necessary. However, if you tell me about your problems, I can give you my intense knowledge on these subjects. If you can’t speak or are unable to, I know multiple other ways of communicating.”
The old man then proceeds to put down what he said into and grab Adrian’s hand, having it run over it. It was so that the game could include other people who knew only specific ways of communication.
Adrian was mainly concerned with this opening scene, and sighed with relief after finding that it was up to his expectations. He quit the scene and looked around at all that he and the System created.
He decided that, because there was now going to be several games that could be accessed by a single capsule, he was going to make a main menu. No, not like one of the simple RPG ones, but one that was mainly like a room with a large computer.
He created a new world that was like most others, but it was rather small. The new world was about the size of a normal bedroom. He created a large, fancy computer that took up most of the room. He had the System go wild with making the computer advanced but not too futuristic. He still needed some time before he could try and implement everything inside.
He walked over to a bookshelf and created holograms of books. The books that weren’t bought would be transparent while ones that were bought were going to be solid. He showed Wisp of Magic on the bookshelf and made sure it worked. Of course, it only showed what he saw while with the System.
Adrian finally went to the outside world. Of course, time had completely stopped when he activated the ability. He understood nothing on how it worked it, but it was probably because of the System. Adrian went to sleep in his bed, Marcy and Maria were already asleep.
He lied awake for what felt like hours, but finally, he was able to sleep.
