Gaming Sword Magician - Chapter 205
“Wow, I just need to open 50 more blood vessels and energy pathways and absorb this Battle light and I will reach halfway away from the peak of D-rank!” Whittaker said while looking at the Battle Light.
«C-rank Battle Light (9-star)»
[Description: Battle Light obtained by killing a peak C-rank battle Master.
Effect: Permanently increase battle energy by 25 points]
It seems to him that the spirit of the tower punished Sonjuki really hard. It’s good though. Somjuki was a shameless C-ranked Battle master hunting contestants on the tenth floor where most contestants are around F to E and only some have reached the D rank.
“Store all these items,” Whittaker said to Advance Guide. Beams of light shot out of its middle and shone over the items. The items vanished from the ground, appearing inside Advance Guide’s interspatial storage.
Advance Guide had many uses and this was just one of them.

Befriending a Dragon Slayer was the dream of many youngsters. Whittaker gladly accepted it. Whereas, Sem and Neko walked up to him.
“Life Taker, nice to meet you. As you have already heard, I’m Sem. And she is my Guide, Neko,” Sem introduced himself.
“Hello, little cutie,” Neko said.
Whittaker didn’t feel even slightly apprehensive by their warm greetings, and the fact that they knew him didn’t alarm him. He knew that since they know him, it must be because they must have seen him killing the Wind Drake and becoming a Ruler.
Furthermore, Rulers were mostly friendly to each other. They work together to complete quests issued by the tower spirit, after all.
“Hi, nice to meet you too. Thanks for saving my life.” He expressed his gratitude.
He was thankful for various reasons. Although he could smash Barbarian Sonjuki ultimate by summoning King Eighteen and using his Bloodline Abilities, his Devansha bloodline would have been exposed and King Eighteen would have been badly injured. Whittaker was certain that he will get in trouble if the world is to know that he’s the descendant of the Divine battle king. That’s why he didn’t want anyone to know this secret of his. That’s why he didn’t use it in his battle against Barbarian Sonjuki.
Elder Zachary and his elder sister knew that he was a Devansha but they didn’t announce it to anyone. His secret was safe with them, his heart was at peace. He didn’t want others to know of this secret. Not until he finds what happened to his clan.
“No problem,” Sem and Neko replied at the same time. Seems like their chemistry is good.
Whittaker continued by asking, “May I ask, what are you doing here?”
“People from the Blood Oracle Guild have set up camp nearby the bosses of the first thirty floors. For the previous two weeks, they have been killing anyone that tried to kill the bosses of the floor to advance to the next one. Most of the newly arrived contestants and those who want to climb the tower are dissatisfied with what’s happening and some have even announced the tower as a scam, where they continuously lose their power and treasure because of being killed by powerful contestants that shamelessly hunt those weaker.
“The tower reputation has taken a slight hit but this angered Jafar and some of the Righteous Ones among the Rulers. They despatched me and 29 others to clean up the mess. I was dispatched to the tenth floor. From what I know, there are at least twenty of them here in the Grand Canyon! All D-rank or C-rank. I am here to kill all those bastards and clean the tenth floor. Only… I would need your help. You probably also must have received a contestant killer quest. Let’s party up and you’ll get good rewards!” Sem replied with a hopeful look in his eyes.
He wasn’t dispatched to the tenth floor. Rather, he asked for it. He wanted to meet Life Taker. Life Taker has killed the Wind Drake, after all. Now that he has seen him in person, Sem classified Whittaker as a Unique and interesting person that’ll do something astonishing in the future.
“Let me think,” Whittaker said. He didn’t vastly make his decision because the Blood oracle Guild was involved.
“Okay,” Neko and Sem replied.
Blood Oracle Guild… Whittaker had actually heard of this guild before. It was a large guild, similar to the most evilest groups of the awakened continent. In the guild ranking board, Blood Oracle guild ranked in the top sixties. Even as the years went by they never fell below the top one hundred. This guild existed because of a group of battle maniacs and people who would commit any evil deed to get what they want. They were a group of tenacious warriors and vile beings that did not fear ushering suffering onto the world.
The thing they loved most was battling, killing, and looting. The guild members cause destruction wherever they go. They are heard by the authorities of the world. Furthermore, there’s a bounty on the head of each member of the Blood Oracle Guild.
‘Anyway, if I kill 20 of them, I’ll have enough Floor Skip crystals to reach the 31st floor! Elder Zachary will surely be impressed if I return and announce this news to him. He will surely hand over the key to the treasury to me!’
When Whittaker thought about this, a happy smile formed on his face. He was certain that Elder Zachary will keep his words. And, he was excited to see what the treasury holds.
“Have you made up your mind?” Sem asked. He seemed slightly impatient.
“Sure, but what do I need to do?” Whittaker replied.
“First of all, accept my party request. Then I’ll explain to you my plan!” Sem replied.
‹Mid-rank Ruler Sem has sent you a party invitation› Advance Guide notified.
Whittaker accepted the invitation and joined Sem party. He could see three health bars in the corner of his vision. One belonged to him. While the other two belonged to Sem and Neko.
