Gibberish - Chapter 2 Chapter 2 Furries
Walking isn’t so bad after all. I’ve been walking westward for around 6 hours and even though I’ve been creeped out by some small fauna I haven’t noticed anything that could kill me yet.
I was getting dangerously low on munitions though. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to ration the food i ate. Quite a bad taste in the mouth not being able to get your fill.
I was left with a bottle of water and 1 and a half granola bars. Sadly the half missing didn’t go missing in my stomach. For real, who though making granola bars so fragile would be a good idea. As soon as I open one of the wraps half of the granola bar fell to the floor.
Now, conscience, you may be asking “why in the world didn’t you pick it up”,”it’s just dirt and you can wipe that off, you just wasted food.”
First of all, you’re me. Why are you judging my choices. Second of all, it looks like you didn’t notice the bug like creatures that came out of the ground as soon as the granola bar fell.
I was NOT touching those at the moment. After walking for what had been 3 hours at the time I wouldn’t just die for getting poisoned by colorful alien incects.
Along my walk I did notice some berry look-alike things on some bushes. I picked them up just in case I was desperate to eat something.
If movies have taught me something is that wild berries are not a good idea to try unless your running dangerously low on food and were willing to risk getting pisoned. Which I wasn’tYet.
I knew I was walking westwards, how? Well, any 5 year old would know that the sun rises from the east and goes west. I was using that exact rule to get by. I didn’t know if it was ‘west’ per se since I was on an alien planet after all but at least it guaranteed that I wouldn’t be going in circles.
That is unless this planet functioned completely different from what I learned from sleep deprived 2 hours of midnight discovery channel I played once in a while.
Thankfully the forest seems to be clearing out. What a coincidence. As soon as I finish my monologue something interesting happens.
Tall grass, brow soil and a very hot, red sun appeared on view.It kind of looked like a picturesque image you would find on an art gallery.
Hey, there is smoke. Where there is smoke there ought to be something interesting. I wish strongly it were a village but I had no grounds to base that up on. For all I knew that could be an underground volcano showing its presence or a weird alien beast whose byproduct from doing digestion is a gas like substance.
I feel like we humans kind of have something similar to that gas … yes, I just did a fart joke…
Let’s just say I am not sane in the head and move on, ok? That’s certainly what I did. At least if I died it would be to a creature no human would have ever or probably will ever see. The best option would be for a village. Would that even be the best option though?
Like, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t speak English and probably have weird customs.
Well, I got the English part right. When I got close to what I now noticed was a fire; i noticed 2 humanoid looking…lemurs?
Well, that’s the best way I could describe them. They were standing on 2 legs and had fluffy tails. Their fur color was a mix of black and white..just like a lemur.
Ok, here’s a better example. They resembled oversized versions of king Julien ok?
They looked to be eating something that looked like the berries I brought but-not-yet-eaten from the forest.
Turns out they are edible. At least they’re eating them. I have a question though. Do lemurs eat meat?
I very wish I had my trusty Wikipedia to answer that for me but yet again I doubt there was anything close to a 4g tower nearby.
The question arises because said.lemurs( ok I’m just calling them lemurs from now on) were eating what looked like a 4 leg creature.
To be honest it’s a bit hard to describe. It looks like an abomination from my point of view. The back looked like a regular boar but the front of the creature looked like an enhanced version of a fly. Yes, oversized eyes and everything.
I’m just going to say the lemurs aren’t actually lemurs and the boar isn’t actually a boar. My tiny brain is just making assumptions to cope with how crazy this situation is.
Said lemurs had spears Besides them so they looked very intimidating in a funny way. I’m imagening a fluffy cat going at a human with razor sharp claws but an adorable petable face.
Yes, the lemurs looked liked their fur would be very good for petting and their nose looked very funny but they were a bit taller than I was and has a spear lying on the floor who if my hypothesis was right was the cause for the boar to be cooking in the fireplace at this instant.
Oh, they seem to be talking..now, what are they talking about. I’ve seen lemurs in documentaries and they do not sound like what I was listening to at the moment.
Oh no. They seem to be coming my way. Well there goes my life in an alien world. Hopefully they are friendly
