God Of Necromancy - Chapter 7 Bottleneck And Attempts
Hai’er began continuously trying to force energy to circulate, disrupting any form of balance. Forcing his body to push more and more energy into a endless cycle of disruption.
He grunts and pants, his energy almost depleting, he smashes his fist on the ground causing the floor to shake. He was disoriented and angered.
“WHY CAN’T I BREAK THROUGH THIS STUPID AND UTTERLY RIDICULOUS BOTTLENECK! GOD DAMNIT!”
Hai’er shouted and his voice reverberated through the air. Many students from other rooms looked at the library where Hai’er studied.
He couldn’t get past this film like barrier.
It virtually prevented him from producing any major sounds. He kept forcing his power, putting enormous strain on his body. He began bleeding from his ears, mouth, and nose due to extensive pressure on his body.
He was on the brink of collapsing, he began fading from conciousness. He blinked and before he knew it, he was falling. While he was stumbling and falling, a girl with a high pitched voice ran towards him and helped him up.
“Hey are you-”
He only heard that before he blacked out and collapsed onto the girl that called to him.
Within his mind, he felt a cold, and biting darkness that corroded away his conciousness. He resisted the darkness within his mind of unknown origin.
His mental strength was being depleted at a constant rate. He could not resist the suction of the darkness.
He was on the brink of falling permanantly into a coma. As he began falling out of conciousness, he heard a voice call out to him. He grasped at that moment he was not yet willing to succumb to the darkness.
With his remaining mental strength, he pushed a bit of the darkness away.
He suddenly popped out of this mental trance and began opening his eyes.
He opened his eyes that were half closed, he couldn’t see anything since his eyes were still stuck together. He did not have anymore strength to move any of his body. He couldn’t project his voice, no matter how much strength he thought he put in, none of his muscles responded. He tried moving his arm to no avail. He thought he was genuinely in Purgatory, or some sort of hell. He couldn’t believe what was going on. Was he crippled? Many thoughts entered his mind. The one thought that prevailed in his mind, was the constant thought to hold on, and to not give up. He began calmly circulating his power to begin checking his bodies condition.
Upon circulating his power, he found that almost all of his muscles were ruptured or destroyed. He knew that this condition wouldn’t be able to be shaken off easily. The girl that ran to him began shouting at him, he didn’t respond, the blood still leaked from his mouth.
The headmaster ran into the library and freaked out.
Although Hai’er could still hear, he couldn’t respond. His muscles we’re utterly destroyed. One could say, he was bedridden and would likely be permanantly scarred. He didn’t believe this, and he knew he was not going to give up. The thought of him being bedridden for the rest of his life freaked him out. He was still circulating his energy. The redirected the power to begin healing his ruptured muscles. He continued to slowly push the energy to the ripped muscles.
He suddenly felt immense and utter pain, it was like a million blades piercing him at once. He screamed in his mind, and tried to scream but nothing came out. All that came out was a empty gasp. The headmaster lifted Hai’ers head and opened his mouth. A warm liquid entered his throat.
His piercing pain immediately ceased. He felt the warm liquid flowing throughout his body, although his muscles weren’t completely healed, he felt that they would begin recovering. He tried opening his eyes once again. He saw blurry figures rush by him, he found that the headmaster was running around the room freaking out. He tried moving his arm to signal the Headmaster. But he couldn’t move any of his muscles. The headmaster knelt down next to Hai’er and whispered,
“Don’t worry, you’ll be okay.”
Despite the liquids miraculous effects, Hai’er couldn’t hold on any further. He slipped from conciousness and entered a deep trance.
