God Of Necromancy - Chapter 8 Waking To Breakthroughs
He floated in a dark space that lacked any feeling of life. It was cold, miserable, and even scary. Although the area was quite unsettling, Hai’er felt that his mental spirit had began rejuvenating within this unsettling area, he felt his mental strength returning very slowly. The area although had miraclous benefits, it made him extremely vulnerable. He could not see any kind of light in this area at all.
He began trying to find some way to exit, he did not want to reside in this creepy area any further. It was truly a foreign area, he had never felt the way he has before. It was almost as if someone was watching him. He felt as if someone was waiting for the right time to strike and kill him.
But oddly enough, that never happened. He floated around for what seemed to be hours.
He couldn’t break out of this calm yet eeire place. It was simply a catastraphe for him. He had no clue what he was doing. He was simply mindlessly floating around in a world of nothingness.
He stopped moving and started thinking, the entire room was pure black, the affiliated element was without a doubt darkness. Thinking about the properties of darkness, he began stroking his chin.
He listed things commonly affiliated with darkness.
Loneliness, Evil, Mysterious.
He began taking mental notes of his current surroundings, a pure black room like place with no boundaries what so ever.
He thought, was this Hell? Was it a purgatory? Was it punishment for me killing a young master?
All sorts of thoughts came into his mind, he thought of the endless possibilities.
Alas, he came up with a conclusion.
This must be a Room Of Darkness, maybe the incarnate of darkness.
He had used his mental notes to construct a plausible hypothesis for whatever this eerie and scary place was.
He thought,
“It has to be the incarnate of darkness, theres no way something would be this creepy and eerie.”
He looked around, and suddenly heard a loud yet resounding boom.
He saw a dark bolt fly across the borderless sky.
It was like a plane, it was like lightning.
He suddenly remembered.
“DARK LIGHTNING!”
He remembered the dark powder that he swallowed without hesitiation.
“DAMNIT I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE PRECAUTIONS! Now im stuck in this fucking shithole.”
He swore repeatedly and began slapping himself.
“Please be a dream, please be a dream, please be a dream, GOD DAMNIT WAKE UP!”
He kept slapping himself and chanting for this to all end.
He was losing himself to the darkness. Becoming insane.
The darkness had properties that could alter someones thought process, making them go insane and eventually making them go awire.
He slapped himself harder and harder, his spirit was once again, breaking down.
His soul was being corroded, and chipped away at.
He couldn’t hold on any further. He drifted from the right passage way too long ago, there seemed to be no more hope for him.
His mind was in scrambles in this point and he really couldn’t bother about anything anymore.
A odd power drifted throughout the air, it caused him to temporarily stop and calm down.
the power had helped him realize what was going on, he knew he had to start calming down or else he would likely cripple his own magical flow rendering him completely and utterly useless for the headmaster.
He took at least a hundred deep breaths and was finally fully calmed down.
The resounding lightning, and everything that was happening at that moment just…
Stopped.
Almost as if time had stopped.
It was almost scary how silent the place was.
He looked around and cracks began appearing in the darkness, a blinding light pouring from a outside world.
“FUCK YEAH IM OUT BABY!”
Hai’er began dancing and jumping around. The darkness started cracking more severely, and the blinding light only intensified.
He was finally back to his body.
He found that a lot of his wounds have healed, although his muscles were still ruptured and damaged.
At least he could open his eyes and talk now,
that was what he thought.
“Headma..ster? Are you there?”
Hai’ers body was still weak, he opened his eyes gradually and instantly became blinded.
His eyes were slowly adjusting to the new lighting,
He was much more relaxed than usual.
He was in fact, ecstatic that he finally broke out of that stupid hellhole.
He actually was scared enough to vow to never eat random powders. He felt changes in his body, although they were not large, he felt as if he jumped at least 2 sub levels into the 8th entry magus realm.
