Godlike Player in a Game-Like World - Chapter 313: Not Enough Mana
After a prolonged pause, Aurora broke the silence with a determined whisper. “I will locate the region boss.”
When the others heard her decision, they silently agreed.
The others nodded in unison as they came to the conclusion that their top priority at the moment must be to determine the location of the region boss before Raydon does. They were left in awe by his mysterious abilities, and they lacked the power necessary to keep up with his extraordinary speed. Therefore, finding the boss first seemed like the most reasonable course of action to take in this situation.
“What kind of man are we dealing with?” Nysora’s voice quivered slightly as she attempted to calm her racing heartbeat, contemplating the enigma surrounding Raydon.
The only thing they could ask for is for Raydon’s investigative skills to be a little less mind-blowing than his speed. At the very least, their priority was to locate the Region Boss before Raydon and personally witness his true capabilities.

‘Damn it, I knew my mana would be an issue, ‘ While Raydon was slicing through the wind and running with light steps across the dry land, he thought about the amount of mana that was left on the character panel.
When Raydon was testing his shadow passage skill at the Demugen Mansion, he used it more than ten times in a hurry to get to the training ground. As a result, he used up a significant portion of his mana reserves in the process.
Even though some time had passed, he had not yet completely restored his mana. In addition, the fact that he had now used the skill twice more had further consumed his remaining mana, leaving him with nothing more than a pitiful amount.
In addition, because he had lost his previous sub-skills, his mana capacity had decreased, and his once impressive mana regeneration rate of almost 100 per minute had dropped to a mere 33 per minute.
“With my current mana regeneration, I can only cast the shadow passage skill once in just around 6 minutes. That’s definitely not enough,” Raydon contemplated.
Because Raydon is currently employing a stepping technique, it appears as though none of the steps he takes are making contact with the ground. Instead, it looks as though he is kicking his body forward by kicking the air. And with the agility that he now possesses, his speed has increased tremendously in comparison to his previous self, and thanks to this technique, his speed with 110 agility has almost tripled again.
Nevertheless, in spite of all of this, his speed was not even close to being comparable to the speed that the shadow passage skill bestowed upon him.
He was also making frequent use of the Death Sense skill, which is his current investigative-type skill. However, fortunately for him, this skill did not present a burden because it only required 55 mana for an average duration of 30 minutes.
However, the fact remained that he did not have enough mana, and his mana regeneration was slow, so he did not have any reserve mana to use the explosive swarm skill, which is his most effective skill for grinding experience but also his skill that uses the most mana.
Considering all these factors and the importance of his skills, Raydon began contemplating the prospect of prioritizing the enhancement of his spirit stat and acquiring new sub-skills upon increasing it when he leveled up.
‘Moreover, these flowers seem suspicious,’ Raydon pondered, his gaze fixated on the pink roses that had suddenly appeared around him some time ago.
When Raydon looked up ahead, he could see that these flowers covered a very large area of the landscape. At first, he had the impression that someone was trying to attack him, but after a short while, he realized that these flowers did not in any way pose any kind of danger to him.
However, despite the fact that he was aware that these flowers did not pose any danger to his health points, he was unable to shake the nagging feeling that someone was keeping an eye on him. This feeling started to develop within him not long after the flowers showed up, and it was due to the high spirit stat he possessed as well as the instincts he possessed at the time.
“It seems to be coming from that direction. Are they using an investigative-type skill to track me?” Raydon paused momentarily, casting a glance behind him, deep in thought. The path of flowers extended from where he had come to his current position, leaving little doubt as to who was employing this skill.
“I suppose the owner of this skill must be the one with the Garden Alchemist title. I wonder which one,” Raydon mused with a smile, before turning his attention forward and resuming his swift pace.
The remarkable range and speed of this investigative-type skill, which even outperformed his own Death Sense skill, astounded Raydon. However, he was also aware that there was a significant flaw in this skill. It would not be difficult for a foe to pinpoint the location of the user if they were to find the path created by the flowers and follow it.
Because of this, it is impossible for the user of this investigative-type skill to avoid the possibility of their own location being revealed, regardless of how effective the skill might be in locating enemies.
Naturally, Feline, who was the one who used this skill, was well aware of the weakness it possessed. However, finding Raydon took precedence over concealing their own location, which compelled her to make use of this formidable skill without any hesitance.
‘Regardless, it doesn’t matter as long as they don’t impede my progress,’ Raydon thought, disappointed that they were using the skill to locate him instead of the region boss. However, given that he had never counted on them in the first place, he made the decision to ignore their presence for the time being and concentrate solely on locating the region boss.
