God’s Eyes - Chapter 1031 Greeted in an...elevator??
Chapter 1031 Greeted in an…elevator??
Jason’s warning was crystal clear, and his ice-cold eyes showed that he was not joking.
Thus the Dwarf leader just nodded meekly, feeling as if he had been hit on the head.
It was embarrassing to be lectured so openly, that too by an existence that was an entire cultivation stage lower than him at that.
But even then, Jason had been capable of severely injuring the Devil Calivra Centipede, even if it was with the support of external means.
However, this was not everything either as he was able to regenerate at a shockingly high speed, and he had just had an engaging conversation of several hours with the Mana Beast God.
As such, there was no way that the Dwarf leader would say something against Jason.
Nonetheless, the current situation caused lots of trouble, even more so because not a single of the High Rulic Dwarf race had been able to leave their base owing to the terrifying presence of the Mana Beast God!
Maybe the two Gods of the High Rulic Dwarf race would have been able to do something within the presence of the Mana Beast God.
But even they would be too weak to do anything truly useful.
The two Dwarf Gods’ forte was not fighting, but manufacturing, forging, and rune inscription, which they did together, allowing their race to prosper, and to gain valuable resources even if their combat strength was not extraordinarily high.
Their talent to fight in close combat was low, but the opposite could be said for long range attacks as the Gods of the Dwarf race had focused on researching a way on how to live on Tagran, without any worries and never letting a threat come near them.
As such, once the Mana Beast God left, numerous high-ranked soldiers emerged from the base, fully prepared to give their utmost efforts to find their comrades.
They dreaded finding their dead and mutilated bodies littered on the ground.
To their immense relief, the contrary was the case as they saw that everyone was perfectly fine.
Only the Dwarf leader was not completely unscathed, his helmet was missing, while his head sported several scratches.
Astonished about the fact that they found Jason, a being of a race they had never seen before, and the altered aura of a Celestia, the reinforcement of High Rulic Dwarves could only halt their tracks before looking at the Dwarf leader in front of them.
Knowing that the Dwarf leader hated Primordials the most, his silence prevented the reinforcement from speaking up against the presumed Primordial, only for all of them to see that the tired leader waved his hand off.
“He is not a Primordial…whatever, let’s just leave!” He remarked, feeling like he would require an entire week of sleep to feel better and energized again.
But it was just a moment later that he halted in his tracks before he remembered something as he turned to Jason before asking,
“Do you two…want to visit our base?”
Clearly recalling to have spotted Jason altering the Shian gun, the Dwarf Leader looked into his eyes.
He could vividly recall how Jason had overloaded it to be used by several different affinities that were combined into a one giant mess of powers.
He knew that Jason would attract their God’s interest, and from the way, the young Primordial, or whatever he was, handled the mysterious flames of his, he should either be a good blacksmith or have the talent to become one!
Jason found the invitation of the Dwarf leader surprising and unexpected because he believed that he would have to ask them for the same in a rather formal manner.
He was not the only one astonished as everyone else appeared to be slightly astonished at him as well.
‘Quill invited…a Primordial in our base?! Is he insane…?’
The other High Rulic Dwarves were still unable to grasp that Jason was, in fact, not a true Primordial, and he would never exactly call himself that either.
As such, they looked at each other in confusion before Jason nodded his head willingly, grasping Jennifer’s hand before dragging her along with him.
“Wait for me!” He called out to the Dwarf leader, who passed by the Demi Gods that had been sent out by the security in order to take care of all problems at hand.
However, there were no problems, to begin with, and Jason simply decided to follow the Dwarf leader, passing by the Demi Gods who stared daggers at him.
“By the way, is there a stronger version of the Shian Gun? It was quite weak, and didn’t even endure the replicated lightning of an Eradica Dragon Demi God, or my moonlight divine energy!”
Jason had completely forgotten about the fact that the Dwarf leader had insulted his mother.
He was sorry, which was clearly visible owing to the fact that he could see the emotional hues of the Dwarf.
Thus, everything was fine as the genuine of the emotional hues was something Jason was sure of.
That meant the Dwarf leader was being truthful and sincere, which was something Jason couldn’t know by listening to some words that were muttered under pressure and force.
With that in mind, Jason had calmed down, and his anger had replaced his curiosity making him ask numerous questions.
“The…Shian gun is weak!?” One of the Demi Gods subconsciously blurted out, flabbergasted by his words and doubting if his hearing skills went for a toss. However, Quill had a different reaction and simply answered,
“Even if you destroyed my Shian gun, that doesn’t mean it’s weak. It was just not configured to be used with affinities other than our race’s innate affinity, the Core Magma!”
After that, Quill quieted down for a moment only to add,
“By the way, how the hell can you use lightning that harbors the strength of a Demi God…and what is moonlight mana?!”
Earlier, Quill had felt extremely uncomfortable with the given situation, but sensing that Jason was not holding a grudge anymore, he couldn’t help but ask a few questions as well.
Jason answered them readily as if they were nothing special, and a small discussion began.
Meanwhile, the reinforcement consisting of more than a hundred High Rulic Dwarves could only stare at Quill, Jason, and the woman who was dragged along by the Primordial, unsure of what to say or do.
“I think…you should report the Primordial’s…or let’s just say some higher ranked races’ arrival… Let Quill explain everything…I’m really too old for this shit!”
That being said, many Demi Gods just nodded their heads as they felt exactly the same, letting Quill handle the responsibility of entertaining the two beings of unknown backgrounds.
Following the three, the subordinates of Quill rushed after them.
They had witnessed everything firsthand and wanted nothing more than to return to the base.
However, what they had not expected was to encounter a total of five High Rulic Dwarves at the Mid Mecynar stage to block them off just when they wanted to return to the basement, using the hidden elevator.
Jason had long since seen them, but he was not prepared for the things they said when the doors of the elevator opened, revealing them in their entirety
“Welcome to the World of Technology and our Universe’s future, to the Empire of the High Rulic Dwarves. We, the royalty, waited eagerly for your arrival, halfling!”
