Godslayer’s Legend - Chapter 173
Alexia Vladi crossed her legs as she took a seat in the private booth in the stands of a large training arena. She was wearing black jean trousers and a similarly colored loose T-shirt that hid all her curves. Her light blue hair was tied in a ponytail and the laces of the black military boots she had on dangled in the air as they were improperly tied.
She was looking at the nearly 1000 children within the ages of 7-14 who were currently undergoing various types of combat training in batches.
She had a glass of wine in her hands as she looked down on them, thinking about the unfortunate circumstances she discovered more than half of these children.
On the floor beside her, head of a god, with fresh golden blood pouring from what was left of the neck.
She had recently gone back to the universe where the gods had taken action against the new godslayer race due to the fact that their god of wisdom possessed the Akashic record for his universe.
In a short battle that barely lasted five minutes, she removed the head of the god and returned to Tivia where she was currently overseeing the combat training of the members of the new godslayer race she had found in the past year.
She had sent Ethan to collect the new batch of godslayers she had found and was waiting for him to return.
Kelly, on the other hand, was in a different galaxy stuffing her face with various cakes and ice cream. As Alexia laid back on her seat and stared at the ceiling, she suddenly heard a voice from the seat next to her.
“They’re turning out nicely aren’t they?”
It was then Alexia realized that at a time she did not know, someone had entered into the booth and sat beside her and was even taking a sip of her wine.
Her next reaction was quite…explosive.
**BOOOMM!!!
She released a burst of energy before summoning both swords from her Chrono controller.
Taking distance from her previous position, she manipulated the ambient energies to form hundreds of spears, all pointed towards the person seated on the seat beside hers.
A giant blue eight-ringed magic circle appeared behind her alongside the giant clock that was her Chrono controller.
All these, happened in less than 3 seconds.
It was at that point that the dust from the explosion that occurred when she released a burst of energy began clearing up.
The figure of the being seated on the still intact seat with the still intact bottle of wine in their hands was revealed.
Long blonde hair and gray eyes, it was an extremely beautiful woman whose looks could charm men of all ages.
She was dressed in a black slim-fit shirt, with similarly colored jeans and sneakers.
The look she was giving Alexia was one of shock as if she couldn’t comprehend the reason why Alexia had suddenly taken hostile action.
As for the nearly 1000 juvenile godslayers and their combat instructors, they were even more confused and scared as a great majority of them understood that Alexia was a being with power that matched most of the superior gods they knew of.
However, Alexia did not pay any mind to this as she stated at the being in front of her with shock.
‘What is SHE doing here?!
Wasn’t she supposed to be asleep?
Or perhaps did Arthur’s birth wake her?!’
She unsummoned her swords and waved her hands causing the energy spears to disappear
The giant magic circle behind her then broke apart before reforming itself as a five-ringed circle.
Then the destroyed booth and everything inside it returned from being a pile of debris to the state it was in before the explosion.
Looking around, the golden-haired woman nodded in satisfaction before speaking.
“You’ve gotten stronger in the last, 20 or was it 30 thousand years.
No longer hiding under Lucifer’s shadow now are you?
Speaking of which, where is he anyway?”
Alexia cursed her luck as she adopted a polite tone to reply.
“Lady Luka, Lucifer’s been dead for about 12 thousand years now.”
Her reply caused the woman, progenitor god Luka, to nearly drop the bottle in her hands due to shock.
“Tsk… why do I keep dropping things lately?
Anyway, you said Lucifer is dead?
How’d that happen?”
Alexia subtly stepped over to prevent Luka from noticing the head of the dead god on the floor as she answered.
“One of ‘them’ took action personally.”
Luka rose an eyebrow at this reply before sighing in exasperation.
“So which ones got him? The brats or the old fogeys?”
“The old fogeys.”
Luka let out a laugh before looking at the head of the god that Alexia was trying to hide.
“If you were trying to hide that then it’s futile, it was the first thing I noticed when I got here. Kinda hard to miss the head of one of my progeny that’s on the ground.”
Alexia’s shoulders trembled as she asked with a shaky voice.
“Y-you’re not mad?”
“Why would I be? Whoever that guy was, he had most likely killed loads of people when he was alive. If he has the gall to kill someone, he should be ready to be killed too.
Besides, I’m not so benevolent that I’d either care or get mad about the death of any random member of my race.”
Luka gave an indifferent reply to Alexia’s question before emptying the wine bottle.
“This is good stuff, where did you get it?”
“A star system north of here, they specialize in wines.”
“An entire star system dedicated to wine production? I should really check it out.”
She dropped the empty bottle and looked out the window where the juvenile godslayers were being dismissed by their combat instructors.
Following her gaze, Alexia felt cold as she thought about the possibility of Luka deciding to end all the godslayers present.
‘She won’t, right?’
“I won’t.”
“Huh?”
Luka turned to Alexia and spoke.
“Your thoughts are written all over your face, I won’t kill them.
I do not really care about them at all, there’s no naturally occurring elder or ancient breed so they’re all worthless to me.
In fact, the only one I actually care about is their progenitor.”
Alexia’s face paled upon hearing Luka’s words, she began to think about multiple ways to convince Luka to not take action against Arthur.
Meanwhile, Luka was chuckling internally while staring at the pale Alexia.
‘It seems she has some sort of connection with him, explains why she is going around gathering members of his race on his behalf.’
It was at this moment that Kelly returned from her trip with a handful of chocolate-flavored ice cream. She was about to speak to Alexia when she noticed Luka’s presence.
She alternated her gaze between Luka and Alexia before asking the latter.
“Friend of yours?”
Alexia was about to reply but Luka spoke up first.
“It’s been quite a while, Kelliana.”
Hearing her full name from the mouth of the unknown woman in the room, Kelly’s gaze turned cold as her energy flared up.
|Who the fuck are you and why do you know that name?|
Seeing this, Luka put on a sad face before replying.
“To think that you forgot about me, I’m quite sad you know. Then again, this means that you really do have a split personality.”
Upon hearing Luka’s words, Alexia revealed a shocked look before hurriedly trying to change the subject.
“You can catch up later, Lady Luka, why don’t we go check out that wine factory, it’s not so far from here.”
Seeing Alexia’s obviously strange reaction made Kelly raise an eyebrow in question, Luka on the other alternated her gaze between Kelly and Alexia.
‘Perhaps…?’
Remembering what Aleksas told her, she grinned evilly and spoke out loud, much to Alexia’s displeasure.
“Lady Luka, please do-”
“Tsk…’Progenitor Dragon Aleksas’ really left me to deal with something troublesome.”
The moment Kelly heard Luka’s words, something in her head clicked. It was like a gear was finally put in its rightful place, the next moment a burst of energy was released from Kelly’s body as her realm of existence started increasing.
“So that was the trigger…”
Luka nonchalantly spoke as she watched Kelly’s realm of existence increase by two complete realms before stopping.
Kelly’s hair then grew longer, long enough to go below her knees. Pitch-black horns sprouted on the sides of her head and a similarly colored tail grew out from her lower back.
Her eyes then turned into slits, her pupils turned red and her gaze became cold as ice. Gray illusory chains manifested around her body before shattering into pieces.
She turned towards Luka and recognition flashed in her eyes.
“So it was you, Lady Luka.”
Taking a deep breath, she was about to continue speaking when a blue board began flashing in front of her eyes.
She looked at it and skimmed through the information it was displaying.
[Name: Kelliana Weiss
Race: Dragonslayer
Gender: Female
Age: [Calculating…]
Level: [Error…Could not Compute]
Existence Level: [Error…Could not Compute]
Titles: Progenitor Dragonslayer-]
The moment it displayed up to that point, Kelly stretched out her hand towards the board and made a grabbing motion.
Her fingers pierced into the status board that was supposed to be intangible and she clenched her fist, shattering the status board into shards of blue light.
“Irritating.”
**THRUMMM!!!!
That was all she said, just one word and ambient energies raged as the system in that particular planet they were on was disabled completely.
The information displayed by the system before she disabled it, were things that very few people knew about.
A great majority of the dragon slayer race might collapse due to shock if they ever found out about this.
That was only natural.
After all, their progenitor was the daughter of the progenitor of the race they were born to slay.
The firstborn daughter of the Progenitor Dragon;
Was also the Progenitor Dragonslayer.
