Godslayer’s Legend - Chapter 188
After the sudden silence, the scenery changed once more and he found himself back in the dark space, standing opposite the older version of himself who was seated atop the throne.
“What was that?”
[I do not know]
“What was THAT?”
[I do not know]
And Arthur finally lost it.
“WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT???!!!!!”
[I do not know]
“How the fuck don’t you know?!
You’re the one who said you wanted to tell me a story and then you tell me you don’t know what that was??!!!
What sort of bullshit is that?!!”
Arthur walked up to the older version of him seated on the throne and grabbed him by his shirt.
“What the fuck are you?!
You’re the one who showed me that lucid dream didn’t you?!
Telling me I’m gonna have to face that monster in the future,
Now you’re telling me that it’s unknown whether I’d even survive?!!!”
[I never said that was your future, and the events you just saw are happenings of the past]
“The past?!!
Really?!!!
You said it was the past, then why the fuck was I in it??
I am just a 14-year-old who is in the grandmaster realm, I cannot obviously stand on a battlefield where a fucking titan died on.
And I don’t think the younger past me can do that either?!
So explain!!!!”
The older version of Arthur seemed to finally get fed up with all the shouting and pushed Arthur’s hands off him.
He then glared at Arthur and spoke in annoyance.
[You should ask yourself all that!!
All these, this dark space, that weird gray orb, that story, and everything that happened in it is all on you.
I don’t know that story, you’re the one who knows it!!
I simply took a memory from your soul, one you instructed me to, and told it to you!!]
Arthur was even more confused at the older version’s words.
“How the fuck do I have memories of an event I’ve never witnessed?!
I’d never even seen a titan before, how am I somehow having memories about one of them??!”
[I don’t fucking know!!
I’m as lost as you are here!!!!
I don’t even know what I am, I’ve only been in existence for as long as you’ve been here and last I checked, that hasn’t even been up to an hour!!]
The two Arthurs kept on shouting and throwing insults at each other continuously.
In the end, they both learned no new information and only succeeded in mentally exhausting themselves.
Then, something strange began happening.
The older version of Arthur began breaking into particles of light.
“What the hell?”
[It seems my job is done, either that or you are waking up.]
“Job done?”
[I was only created to tell you that story, now I have, my job is done, it is only natural I return to nothing.]
Arthur was shocked, he had not managed to glean any new information and now the only source of his answers was disappearing.
[Just know you created me, with the appearance of how you subconsciously believe you would look in 5 years, to tell you that story.
And one more thing.]
The older him stood up and walked behind the throne once again, he then stretched a hand forward and spoke.
[Elaine, she is waiting for you. Get stronger so you can find her.]
Hearing the unfamiliar name, Arthur could not help but ask.
“Who’s Elaine?”
The older version then turned around and with the last of its strength spoke before disappearing.
[Number ‘I’.]
The reply shocked Arthur as he never saw that coming.
Then he started feeling dizzy, and he dropped to the floor, losing consciousness soon after.

Meanwhile, Aurora was removing the needles she placed on Arthur’s body.
“All done, he should be fine now.”
She turned around and said to Cattleya with a proud look on her face.
Seeing his mother act as if she wanted to be praised, Creusery could not help but chuckle lightly, which earned him a glare from her.
However before she could speak, there was an energy surge from behind her.
Turning around, she saw Arthur’s energies were going wild.
“What?!
This was not supposed to happen!”
She flexed her fingers and was about to forcefully calm him down but someone beat her to it.
Cattleya suppressed his rampaging energy with her own and Aurora switched up and ran a diagnostics on Arthur.
After multiple scans, the problem was revealed.
“What is it then?”
Cattleya asked impatiently while trying to suppress his energy but not too much as that would be detrimental to him.
“Arthur’s energies were never in sync.
His divinity and that weird negative energy, they were always battling for dominance in his body.
However, when the soul poison hit, they both moved with one goal.
To preserve his life for as long as possible.
His magic, aura, divinity, and that negative energy were not suppressing each other or battling for supremacy, they all had the same goal.
That made his body reach some sort of equilibrium and something that should have happened long ago is happening now.”
Creusery looked at Arthur’s state and had a guess but he asked to be sure.
“What is it?”
“Magic blooming.”
“Then Leya should not suppress it.”
Aurora shook her head at Creusery’s words before replying.
“That would be a good idea if it was normal, but it’s clearly not.”
Arthur has already increased his energy cap multiple times and as such, his magic blooming is multiplying the already increased energy level making him have energy over his capacity.
His body is modifying itself to hold 100% of his energy but he is currently having 150%
The extra 50% needs to be removed.”
Hearing this, Inglis who had been silent all this while finally spoke up.
“We can use an absorber and take it away so his magic blooming can occur properly”
She turned to Cattleya but was shocked at what she saw.
Cattleya was drawing a magic circle with her free hand while the other was on Arthur’s body holding down his energy.
However, the problem was the magic circle.
“Cattleya Vaughn, just what do you think you are doing?!”
“An optimal solution, if he isn’t strong enough to hold 150% now, he may be in the future, this would allow him to unlock that extra 50% by himself.”
She then turned around and looked at the other three in the room.
“I’m gonna need you all to leave.”
“What?”
Creusery shot back immediately. He was about to continue speaking but Aurora just silently pulled him by the collar and dragged him out of the room.
Inglis followed suit and casted a silence spell to prevent sound from escaping and closed the door behind her.
All alone with Arthur, Cattleya turned back to him and began reciting a chant.
“In a starry prison of your own making shall I place you.
And your savage force shall be locked within.
With that which is closest to your soul.
And most true to it.”
Taking a deep breath, she re-convinced herself that this was the best solution and finished the chant.
“True Name Seal.
Arthurius Aidoneus Vaughnheim.”
A silver light surrounded the two and the magic circle Cattleya drew melded into Arthur’s body.
As Cattleya took her hands off Arthur, she thought about what she had just done.
Since Arthur had an extra 50% energy, she sealed a bit of each type of energy he had.
12.5 % of his magic, aura, divinity, and the last negative energy he had.
“Even so, the amount he has is absurd…”
A superior stage legendary on his way to the epic realm would be hard-pressed to possess this amount of energy.
The four energies swirled around his body in harmony despite their opposing natures.
Then his body began floating up and while Cattleya was thinking that something like this was not supposed to happen, the silver negative energy superseded the other three and wrapped around him, forming a giant silver cocoon around Arthur.
Inglis opened the door and saw the scene inside before shooting a questioning look towards Cattleya.
“Trust me when I say I’m as lost as you are, I have no idea what is going on anymore.”
Aurora walked in afterward and was about to speak, however she sensed a new presence in the room.
Diablo, who just arrived from his conversation with the Hell universe’s consciousness walked towards the cocoon and placed his hand on it.
“Silver huh?”
He chuckled a bit before turning to Cattleya and asking.
“You sealed his energy with his true name?”
“Yeah, so?”
Still slightly annoyed at Diablo, Cattleya replied with a Huff.
Diablo only laughed at her cute behavior before turning back to Arthur’s cocoon.
“He should be like this for a few days, when he wakes up, he’d be just like his father and me.
Congratulations Cattleya, you were right.”
He then tapped the confused Cattleya on her shoulder before teleporting out of the room again.
Cattleya wanted to ask about Diablo’s strange words but remembering that she needed to contact Hades, she left watching Arthur to Inglis and warped out.
