Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 27
“Do you know anyone with the name of Yan Tiankong?” An elder asked the other elders.
“Nope.”
“Not even once.”
Haven’t heard of it either.”
The elders shook their heads at the question.
“Hey, Shi Li. Do you know of a Yan Tianko-” Elder Li was about to ask the same question when he saw Shi Li frozen in place.
“Did I hear that correctly? Yan Tiankong?” Shi Li nervously asked. He never knew he would hear that name again.
The lackeys that wanted to kill him were commanded by Yan Tiankong so he was vigilant of other people being commanded by the same one. He didn’t want to die early.
“Yes. Yan Tiankong. What about it?” The commander harrumphed.
Shi Li calmed down. He looked straight at the commander and asked, “Did he command you for the key?”
The commander replied, “Of course. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for it.”
Shi Li interrogated a bit more. “What does the key do then?”
The commander nonchalantly replied without a care, “Well of course, it’s a key for an inherita-” He stopped in fear of giving more info.
By then, Shi Li understood. He currently had a key for an inheritance.
He sighed and said to the commander, “Bad luck. The key’s not here.”
The commander gritted his teeth, “That can’t be. We’ve spied on you starting from the time you left the Shi clan! We’re sure that you have that key!”
Shi Li was surprised. He did not expect to be spied on from the start of his tempering journey.
“Anyways, you should forget it. Get closer and you die.” Shi Li coldly said.
The commander frowned, “Hmph! How would I forget it? I’ll just have to pry it out of you then!”
The commander grabbed his sword by the waist and lunged towards Shi Li.
The elders panicked. They had no idea what to do. Shi Li stepped in front of them and said, “I’ll take care of this. It’s my duty right?” He smiled.
With his force multiplier at 50, he dashed forward to land a fist on the commander.
“Heh. Do you think I’ll let you hit me that easily?” The commander evilly laughed.
The commander imbued qi within his sword, moving to a piercing stance.
“[Yellow River Sword Art: Guangzhou]!” He shouted.
A yellow river manifested out of nowhere behind the commander’s back. The yellow river moved with the sword as it pierced to pass through Shi Li’s fist.
Shi Li smirked and said, “You think that strike would kill me? You wish!”
Without any care for his defense, Shi Li punched the sword head-on. An explosion happened from the contact.
Seconds later, the smoke from the explosion faded away… leaving a broken sword and an uninjured Shi Li.
“H-h-how?” The commander was perplexed. Most of his enemies would die within one strike of his sword.
“You don’t need to know that. You dared defy me, so just die.” Shi Li increased his force multiplier to 100 to make sure he does in one hit.
“No…no…not happening…impossible…I must make sure…” The commander muttered.
“I must make sure…to complete…Father’s…mission….aaarrrgghhhh!” He yelled out into the air, his aura strengthened within many seconds.
“That can’t be!” An elder said.
“A Dao Path realm cultivator!” Another elder shouted.
Elder Li shook his head. “He may have the intent of the dao, but he doesn’t full control of it. He’s at the False Dao realm!”
The False Dao realm is a preliminary stage before gaining insight into the true path of dao a cultivator shall take. It allows the cultivator to truly find what path he shall take in the Dao Path realm.
“I will kill you!” The commander shouted.
“[Yellow River Dao: Huanghe Void]!”
A slash containing the intricacies of the void and a golden river was shot towards Shi Li.
Shi Li snorted and said, “[Distant Blow: Ten Great Sorrows]!”
In an instant, the attacks collided, pulling out earth from the ground and throwing it in an erratic manner.
As the smoke clears out, the commander lunged forward, aiming for Shi Li’s throat.
“Die!”
