Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 37
While Shi Li and Cai Luiyin was walking on the way to an inn, Shi Li felt that something was amiss. People were tailing both of them as if they had some sort of problem with the two.
“Luiyin, follow me. We’re gonna take a detour.” Shi Li whispered in a serious tone. Cai Luiyin looked around them and understood.
Shi Li grabbed her arm and pulled her into an alleyway. The people that were tailing them were surprised. “Follow them! Make sure they don’t escape!” a person shouted to the others.
The people exerted their full strength and gave chase to Shi Li and Cai Luiyin.
…
“Where are they at the moment?” Tian Jiaoren asked through a transmission crystal.
A hoarse voice replied, it was the old man following Tian Jiaoren. “So far, they’ve went through an alleyway. Our people are still tailing them and it seems that they’re reaching a dead end.”
Tian Jiaoren smiled. “Make sure that they’re stuck there. I’ll be there within 5 minutes.”
He then kept the crystal on his waist and stimulated his full strength. Previously, in the disciple recruitment event, he was at the peak of Qi Creation. Currently, he was now in the realm of Dizhong! Within a few days, he passed through one realm and a sub-realm!
Tian Jiaoren bent his knees and muttered, “[Starry Light Movement]….[Neutron Flash]!”
He exert all of his force through his legs and within an instant, he was already far away from where he was before.
…
Shi Li frowned. He didn’t even make any of these people mad. ‘Are they onto the comprehension leaves?’ This thought went through Shi Li’s mind and thought that it was plausible.
“Are you here for the comprehension leaves?” Shi Li tried asking them but he received no answer.
‘They don’t care about the comprehension leaves at all, huh. Then what’s their reason for chasing us?’
Shi Li and Cai Luiyin continued to run until they reached a dead end. The people surrounded them but didn’t do anything to them.
“Why are you surrounding us?” Cai Luiyin couldn’t help but ask.
Minutes later, one of the people replied. “Young master’s orders.”
Shi Li was confused. “Who’s this young master?”
A silhouette squeezed in and showed itself to the faces of Shi Li. “That young master would be me, Tian Jiaoren!”
Shi Li’s eyebrows furrowed. He had heard the name somewhere but can’t remember where. “Who are you again?” He asked with sincerity.
Tian Jiaoren was disappointed. ‘I guess he forgot about me…’ He slumped down only to speak a few words, “Remember the disciple recruitment event?”
Hearing those words, Shi Li’s eyes lit up. “I finally remember! You’re that Tian Jiaoren who always wanted to fight with me for no reason!”
“That’s right! I’m that Tian Jiao-” Tian Jiaoren screamed only to have a grave expression. “You remember me only with that?”
“Well what else can I remember you with?” Shi Li asked. “Your realm is lower than mine, your strength is lower than mine and even your stamina is lower than mine. Heck I even think that you can’t do well in that area.” Shi Li stared at the lower part of Tian Jiaoren’s body.
All the words Shi Li said were so true, that Tian Jiaoren felt large spikes piercing into his body. The last one made him look down at his manhood and scream out, “I can do perfectly well in that area, mind you!”
Shi Li sighed. Cai Luiyin slightly blushed from their conversation. “So…what’s with your people surrounding me?” Shi Li asked.
“I just wanted to pay back what you did at the disciple recruitment event,” Tian Jiaoren said. He unsheathed his sword and started to imbue qi within it.
“Take this!” Tian Jiaoren shouted. “[Grand Starry Revolution]!”
A plethora of stars were revolving around Tian Jiaoren’s blade, crashing down as the sword strikes toward Shi Li. Shi Li said to Cai Luiyin, “Step aside.”
Shi Li bent his knees to a right angle and just lifted one of his hands up to guard against the blade. He didn’t bother to imbue any qi.
Tian Jiaoren laughed at the scene. “That’s all? That’s your only way of defense? If so, then die!” His blade moved faster and faster to collide with Shi Li’s palm.
At this moment, Shi Li made a squeezing motion with two of his fingers and stopped the sword from moving. Shi Li shook his head. “It’s not that it’s my only way of defense, I still have more methods to defend it…but you’re just too weak.”
Tian Jiaoren was surprised. He thought that he was fastest in terms of cultivating but it seems that…Shi Li was way faster than him. “This can’t be! Only I can become the genius of the heavens!”
He tried to pull out his sword but alas it was no use. It was firmly stuck to Shi Li’s grip. Even if he imbued qi within the sword, he still wouldn’t be able to budge it.
Shi Li yawned. He looked at Cai Luiyin and asked, “What realm are you currently at?”
Cai Luiyin then said, “Dizui. What’s wrong?”
Shi Li looked at the guards and said, “Can you kill these people surrounding us? They’re only at Dixia so it’ll be simple for you to do so.”
Cai Luiyin replied, “But I don’t have a weapon.”
Shi Li thought about it. He then grabbed the great hammer from his back. “Is a great hammer okay with you?”
Cai Luiyin received the great hammer and replied, “It’s not my preferred weapon but it’ll do.”
Within seconds, a chilling aura emanated from Cai Luiyin, extending to the weapon. She dashed towards one of the people and jumped up in the air.
“[Frost Strike]!” With a bang, the great hammer struck the person on their head and crushed their skull within one stroke. The blood splattered towards the others like some sort of slippery red slime.
The people were now vigilant towards Cai Luiyin, in case another one of them dies. Shi Li looked at them and sent a voice transmission towards Cai Luiyin. “Luiyin, aim at someone then when you’re going to smash down, hit another person. The person you aimed before will be killed by me. Sounds good?”
Cai Luiyin nodded as a sign of understanding. She moved towards another person and raised the great hammer up high.
Tian Jiaoren was still trying to get the sword but instead gave up. He got another sword from his space bag and started to execute a technique again.
He lunged forward, aiming for Shi Li’s heart. “[Seven Star Art: Ursa Major]!” he shouted.
Shi Li looked at Tian Jiaoren and punched out at him with a force multiplier of 10. “Shut up for a while.” Bang! Tian Jiaoren was sent flying far away from the others.
The people were now fearing the both of them. ‘What kind of monster did the young master meet?’ they all had this thought on the back of their heads.
“[Frost Strike]!” The great hammer crashed down towards a person but the person smirked. The person conjured a qi barrier, only for it to become useless. While it was crashing down, the great hammer deviated from its course to hit the one beside the person.
Shi Li then threw a qi javelin towards the person with the qi barrier. “[Spiralling Javelin]!”
In an instant, the two people that were hit by both Shi Li and Cai Luiyin’s strike were lifeless and fell down to the ground with some of their parts either cut off, mangled to pieces, or even unrecognizable from its previous state.
Shi Li looked at the remaining people and asked, “Do you still want to protect your young master…or die trying?”
The remaining people fell down the ground, standing back up again to try and run away from the two. “We don’t care about the young master anymore!” they all said in unison.
…
Tian Jiaoren crashed within a building. Rubble was scattered everywhere and white powder was all over his face, presumably from the rubble. He was injured, with small wounds all over his body. He stood up in a lopsided way with some effort.
He gritted his teeth and tried to walk back to his own clan. “The Tian clan…I need to get to the Tian clan…I need to get stronger and recover so I can smash that trash…”
Suddenly, a voice from behind said, “Tian clan, huh? The clan that separated my mother from my father.”
Tian Jiaoren was shocked. He looked behind him to see Shi Li grinning in an evil way.
“W-w-what do you plan to d-d-do?” Tian Jiaoren stuttered as he stepped backward.
Shi Li clenched his fist and rose his force multiplier to its maximum. He also activated the Flowing Waves technique. He then said, “Oh…I’m just going to kill you. You belong to that clan and you’re too annoying. You may end becoming a huge problem for me so die.”
He punched out towards Tian Jiaoren. With roaring waves and shockwaves covering the scream Tian Jiaoren was blurting, Tian Jiaoren’s body was being torn into pieces one by one. Blood slowly dripped from his body and splattered a bit, hitting Shi Li’s face. In the end, there was nothing left, except for a remnant of a yell and drops of dark red blood on the floor that signified Tian Jiaoren’s death.
