Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 38
After killing Tian Jiaoren, Shi Li and Cai Luiyin went into an inn to cultivate. Shi Li gave a small bag to Cai Luiyin. Cai Luiyin tilted her head as if she didn’t know the reason why she was given the bag. “Open it,” Shi Li said to her.
Cai Luiyin opened the bag to look inside, only to get the shock of a lifetime. 100 low-grade qi crystals were within the bag, with some special herbs by the side. “Is this all for me?” Cai Luiyin asked Shi Li as if the bag was mistakenly given to her.
Shi Li shook his head. “That’s meant for you. I still have more qi crystals within the bag right here so don’t worry about me.”
Cai Luiyin thanked Shi Li repeatedly to the point she urged Shi Li to do it with her. Shi Li declined the offer as he thought it wasn’t the time yet. Cai Luiyin shrugged her shoulders and said, “I’ll be on that side, cultivating furiously.” She pointed towards a quiet corner of the room.
Shi Li nodded. “I won’t be disturbing you at all. Just cultivate.”
Cai Luiyin sat cross-legged by the corner and grabbed some qi crystals to start cultivating. Shi Li stared at her for a while and then left the inn to buy something.
…
Tian clan.
A light started to flicker and in the end, it went out. The man in charge of those lights did not mind the death of a clan member since the law of the jungle exists within the cultivation world, but when he saw the name, he was shocked.
He grabbed a red transmission crystal and hurriedly shouted, “Patriarch! Patriarch! Something terrible has happened!”
The patriarch, who was busy doing paperwork within his office was startled when he heard what the man said. He replied, “What’s wrong?”
The man stuttered as he answered, “Y-y-your son is dead!”
The patriarch stood up and broke his table in a burst of anger. He hurriedly dashed towards the room where the man was.
Not long after, the patriarch reached the room. “What happened to my son?!”
The man respectfully answered, “Patriarch, a while ago, your son was still alive until he met some powerful existence whom he offended and that possibly caused his early death.”
The patriarch shouted, “Preposterous! Who would dare offend such a clan like ours?!”
The man then answered, “Thankfully, you have implanted a surveillance array on your son so we can see who the killer is.”
The patriarch nodded. “So…who killed my son?”
The man only spoke 5 words.
“A man named Shi Li.”
…
Shi Li sneezed. ‘Are people talking about me or do I have some allergy?’ he thought but instantly kept it into the back of his mind.
He walked into a shop to buy a portable blue pillar for around 20 qi crystals. The pillar within the inn was only crimson and he didn’t want to break it, so he just bought one for himself out of convenience.
Hours later, he went back into the room the two were staying in. Cai Luiyin was still at the corner, silently meditating while absorbing the qi from the crystals.
“Alright, let’s get to work then.” Shi Li sat cross-legged and grabbed the 2 comprehension leaves he got from the auction. Looking at the leaves, he could faint markings on the leaves that could allow one to see the truth. With this, he was slowly entering a state of deep insight.
He was pondering over how to efficiently exert force in the fastest way possible, increasing his force multiplier slowly but surely. The leaves slowly withered as if they weren’t watered for long enough. The markings on the leaves were also dissipating and gradually assimilated itself within Shi Li’s mind.
Currently, these two people were both cross-legged, silently cultivating to gain more strength.
…
Yan Clan main branch.
After days of filtering out clan members, the patriarch finally found the suitable opposites for Shi Li. The patriarch found two people. They were called Yan Xiu and Yan Qiu.
These two didn’t know why they were called out but they still followed orders. Once they entered the patriarch’s room, they bowed respectfully. “Patriarch.”
The patriarch nodded and said, “You two, I’m assigning you on a secret mission. I want you to kill a person named Shi Li. This person has killed the entire branch of Yan Clan within Verdant Breeze Town…and Commander Tianshi.”
The two were shocked. Commander Tianshi was the strongest cultivator of their generation, if Commander Tianshi died by Shi Li’s hands, then how could they fight against him?
The patriarch looked at their eyes and saw traces of fear within them. “I know that what you’re doing is a dangerous mission but hear me out. I’ll allocate most of the resources for you to cultivate as Shi Li is in the Dao Path realm presumably. If you reach the intermediate stage of Dao Path realm or higher by four months and kill Shi Li, I’ll make you the patriarch and grand elder of this clan respectively.”
With these conditions, the two instantly accepted the mission. Yan Xiu couldn’t help but ask, “Why did you pick us Patriarch?” Yan Qiu nodded as a sign of him having the same question.
The patriarch replied, “As far as I can see, Shi Li is more on the line of head-on fights. You two are twins that rely on defense and binding to defeat your enemies so you’re the worst nemesis Shi Li can possibly fight.”
The two understood. They rushed towards a cultivation room and shouted out, “We’ll be cultivating now! We won’t let you down Patriarch!”
…
2 days later, the leaves Shi Li bought finally turned to dust. Shi Li opened his eyes with a firm gaze. He called for Xiao Hei. “Xiao Hei, bring me into the pocket world.”
In an instant, Shi Li was gone from the room, not even a trace of his scent was left.
Shi Li was now in the same hall as before, with the same jade-like material on the walls and rough cut stone floor. “Bring up the force multiplier pillar, Xiao Hei.”
Within seconds, a white pillar was standing there in the center of the hall. With a running start, he clenched his fist and raised his force multiplier to the maximum.
Bang!

Shi Li had finally reached a force multiplier of 800! He had finally cultivated the [Art of True Omnipotence] to the peak of the first layer, Perfection!
